For 1: I would’ve chosen Dickson BEFORE we found out his true colors. For 2, I would’ve chosen Jin because he actually assisted Rex and the gang to defeat Amalthus before reaching the First Low Orbit Station, whereas Malos was a complete psychopath the entire game. As for 3, I couldn’t think of anybody.

A few years ago I was so ambitious to level Malos to Level 99. And what can I say: I did it. After nine months of playing for one hour.

This was just the tutorial I needed. I’ve watched a few others. But this is the first one that’s made me feel confident in what I’m doing in combat

For a casual player who winged most of XBC1, this guide was so clear and straight to the point. I feel a little less overwhelmed now 🤺

This game is great but by god it does a poor job of explaining a new combat system thats radically different than the first game

If there were a Xenoblade Warriors game I would personally make the characters such as Shulk, Rex, and Nia have their younger and older designs and for characters that don’t have a counterpart there could be a unique character made that are characters like Dunban who would maybe get a younger design and Sharla with an older design. IDK what to do with the Nopons. Also I’ve only played Xenoblade 2 and not even finished.

That number 1 brought back some trauma

I really like Vandham as a character and I had Tora Benched for the entire time he (Vandham) was available but he was controlled by the ai. But it was sad to see him die even though I knew it was coming because I accidentally watched a video with his death cut scene before I even got the game.

My problem is even worse, i cant join any arenas, or nobody joins my arenas either. I get the "one or more other consoles are jot respondong" error, HELP PLSSS

I loved the spirit crucible personally. It is a beautiful place with the most calming, peaceful music. I quite liked the maze- like structure of the area, and think it fits really well as the place where the third sword was hidden away. I also enjoyed how it flipped the combat on its head, forcing you to rely more on Poppi or using driver combos. The phantasm fight is a kinda a pain in the ass, but not if you didn't neglect your Poppi.

I loved playing with Tora, but I couldn't hear his "mememe" anymore and had to change to Moraq x.x

It's fully because of the story but I must speak my truth! ROSA SUCKS! Most boring easy boss battle I've ever played, literally just to see if I could I put the controller down with Rex out of range for Auto-attacks and less than a minute later the game was telling me about how Rose was too strong and we were losing and we need a new Poppi to even stand a chance and just...it is the only time in this series I felt like the Devs themselves were insulting me. Easy boss fight, joke character design, and then I get told "nope, you suck". If you're going to make a boss fight where you lose in the cutscene after, just make it invincible for 30 seconds so it feels like you lost, not the easiest boss fight in the series.

Spoiler alert Im glad they decided to not let chain music play when using a chain attack on the finak boss on future redeemed Because wow imagine hearing the chain attack music for the final boss of future redeemed(im pretty sure this is also a thing with the base game's finak boss)

True story. 2 was my first Xenoblade and, because of how bad the tutorials are, I forgot Chain attacks were a thing… for basically the entire game.

Yep I understand why the DLC people were left out. You think Ashera and Isurd are good? Well "Black" (as to not sopoil the name) is that on steroids

Xenoblade 2's chain attacks are so much fun. I love setting up orbs with blade combos, finding routes to set them up and strategically choosing with blade to attack to break and extend combos. I once restarted a couple bosses so I could do better with my chain attacks.

2 things not covered in the video: -Accessories that boost starting damage ratio in CAs are bugged on the highest difficulty. Don't use them in that mode. -If you break 2 or more orbs in one round, that's still only 1 extension, they do not stack. This is almost always a loss of damage in practice. This also makes the spoilerblade that has the ability to damage all orbs at once worse for regular chains(However, it can still be helpful in triggering full bursts if one otherwise has no issue producing the orbs, but has issues breaking them somehow).

Bruh game had such bad tutorials guides are still being made 7 years later. Awesome though since this is my favourite game and battle system of all time whenever people say the combat is slow and boring these videos would make it much easier to explain 👍

One more tip about Full Burst: The amount of orbs needed to break to fill the Full Burst gauge isn't a set number. Basically, the Full Burst gauge needs 6 units to fill it up, with each orb you break counting as 1. However, if you are able to break 2 orbs in one round, that second orb will count as 2 units in the Full Burst Gauge. Even better, if you break 3 orbs in one round, the third orb will count as 3 units. This means that while it could take as many as 6 orbs to fill the Full Burst gauge (breaking 1 orb per round for 6 rounds), if you are able to break 3 orbs in a single round of a Chain Attack, you can pull off a Full Burst with just those 3 orbs by themselves (3+2+1=6). Happy Chain Attacking!

Stacking up elemental orbs and then dealing a bazillion damage with Pneuma in chain attacks was addicting man, XC3 chain attacks don't hit the same way at all

Chain attacks are powerful. Blade combos are also powerful. So bursting the elemental orbs from blade combos in the chain attacks is like, Ultra Powerful

I don't know if there are other blades that will do this, but there is a blade called Dahlia who is in ice ball user with a Southern accent. She is a rare blade. She also has an ability that has it where whenever she attacks the blade there is a I think starting 70 chance tod it will also hit whatever orbs are next to it and I'm pretty sure it's for the same amount of damage. So recommendation is to either always have a wind orb active when using her so you can take advantage of that or always have her on orb ender. I also have a more spoilery tip in the comments

Will we ever get a crafting accessories guide for XC3? I get the impression the classes used for debuff got an overall improvement due to a new accessory available that increases the chance of debuffing enemies by 15% (stalker and machine assassin for example)

I remember using elemental orb ender on Minonth in Torna. What I didn't know us that the Aux core effects also carry over the the Driver, in this case Addam. That was pretty dang fun as I had two orbs that I would break for sure! Also with your pretty much set party composition in Torna, chain attacks were so much more fun. I felt like they required even more strategy and planning

IMO, this is the best chain attack system.

Man, this game is complicated, I don't know how I did it, but the first time I played it I managed to complete it with almost no understanding of the gameplay, the same with Torna. Years later I returned to the game and finally managed to understand everything, I'm not lying, it's one of the games that has given me more pleasure to play it. Sadly I forgot how to play it, but I still have beautiful memories of it.

I know I'm alone here, but imagine if A was the twist villain in that hypothetical game?
