8:23 honestly, it's pretty normal, if not outright expected, that Shulk and Reyn reach max Affinity very early in the game. After all, you're forced to have those two in the party until the end of the Ether Mine.
I really like the heart to heart between Sharla and Riki in satorl marsh where Riki talks about how one of is childeren climbed a tree in makna forest but was to scared to come back down and how Riki spent the entire day looking for her just shows once again that Riki is a good father. I also love how in fc we find out that that nopon is actually Nene
It was really nice to learn that nopon was Nene, Riki is a goated father!
Aaaannnd ladies and gentlemen, the reason why I could've never made my first big scripting project without this dude. Max can bring in a fuller experience that I may or may not struggle with. For as much as I try to break linear beginning to end stuff, I don't know how much I can become as big picture as this. Great job, you enrich the experiences I've already loved before.
Don't sell yourself short man, I could never match your more creative and analytical writing. You're the main reason our first first collab turned out as great as it did, especially next to our other videos back then.

I like to think the worst option for shulk and Riki’s heart to heart is the “canon” one, because when you get to the pink h2h and riki decides to adopt shulk, I like to think he gives shulk a hug sometime later. Once refusing to hug, only to give him one as father figure to a son. That’s character development
This is more character development than the game ever gave him in the story
