I think that the fact that ray of punishment and chroma dust were there suggests that there’s an empowering mechanic for both characters
Chroma Dust does look like the better version of the two now that you're saying it, you could be right!
If you played the games there is a tension mechanic. I think as she is doing well she will unlock better moves. Though this could also just show up after a certain amount of time.
I think something you didn't realize about Foresight, is that when both Wolf and Terry are caught in it, they get slowed down for a second. It's not just Mythra having more I frames or being able to act out of it faster then a regular dodge roll, it's that this is the best way for Sakurai to make you able to have a 'vision' while actually doing something. I'm thinking that both Pyra and Mythra will have meters connected to their gimmick. For Pyra, it's her fire, which will make some of her attacks longer and hit harder. For Mythra, it's Foresight and they will both be in a bad state if they run out. You'll probably be switching between them constantly to keep both meters up. How odd is this going to be though, a character that is at their most safe while spamming dodge roll.

I do really like your theory with the meters, never thought of that myself but it would be a really interesting mechanic!
I think Pyra's "forward-tilt" is actually her dash attack and the actual forward tilt was the attack Mythra did after she did the taunt that turned her back to the camera. If you look closely behind Pyra, there is a dash cloud that further supports this. That and it's Pyra's only grounded attack that moves her forward.
For those who don't know, you can do a dash attack instantly be dashing and hitting your c-stick in the direction you're going at the same time.
Might be true, the attacks do look a bit different now that you say it!

Pyra's up-b is either gonna be like Ike/Chrom's where you can't cancel it or like Cloud's where you can cancel it but you have to press B twice to do the whole thing
I honestly didn't even consider it could work like Clouds hahaha, hopefully you can cancel the second hit!
So I think Nair cancels on hit or like starts its end lag on hit otherwise it'll be atrocious. Just a theory.

Pyra would be stronger but slower. And Mythra would be weaker but faster.
That's not a bad idea, if Mythra can somehow get buffs on her attack and both of them had actual decent projectiles then she's probably a very good character. We might get another s tier for once after Joker.
