I need to replace my 9 Corsair's LL120 crapy fans in my Lian Li Dynamic case, i will definitely order those new 9 UNI SL-INF fans, yeah, they a bit expensive, but that idea that you connect 3 fans in a row with only 1 cable, or even 2 cables, is much better than messing up with like 6 cables, and i think those Lian Li fans looks way better then my old crapy Corsair LL120 fans.
Yeah I’m switching my Corsair QL 140s and LL120s for these because of cable management . I love the icue software but Corsair needs to do some different designs or something and ffs do something about the 2 cables per fan lmao so many cables in the back of my case ! Still got love for Corsair but thought it was time to switch out my fans for something new

nice Tutorial. I got confused on the connecting the usb and the rgb/pwm connector based on Track 7:36. if I go to this route, Do I need to connect the usb and the rgb/pwm cable at the same time if I use the L-connect3 software? This is where I got lost on your video. thanks

I dont have an extra usb 2.0 header to spare can I use the PWM method instead or will something not work +
what if you have no more ports on your motherboard for the usb2.0 headers would i be unable to make it work
I have just bought the triple pack and it's comes with a controller. I also bought the aio version but that comes with a different controller. But the single fans come with a lead that connects to the aio controller...but the triple pack leads are different. Could I use 1 of the reverse fans lead and connect my triple pack so it connects with the aio controller?
I'm a corsair fan boy but I promised myself for my next build I'm going with Lian li when you have 9 QLs in a 5000D its cool but the Lian's have just a more elegant look to them.
Also the cable management is much smother to implement. With Corsair OMG cabling is a nightmare 2 cords per fan 9 QL's and 3 ML's for a push pull at the top so you do the math and
don't open my back panel its madness lol. Lian Li hear I come...keep up the good work Seekers.
Thats why I use Unifans in a lot of our builds now because it saves me time

@@ronniekregar3482 ICUE is a memory hog and sucks. My old build was all Corsair and ROG. I went with Lian Li this time. Don't regret it one bit
@@ronniekregar3482 corsair fans are terrible ! i got the new lcd cooler and it comes with their premium fans and they feel cheaply built with a mess of wires ,yes their software is pretty good but the fans and hot spot lighting sucks ! i got 9 v2 unifans and they are the best built fans i've ever seen and they are cheaper then corsairs premium fans ,corsair is living in the dark ages with their outdated mess of wires .
so the optional motherboard cord, is it better to plug it into the motherboard? whats the benefits of doing it?
can you use iCue to control the lighting if you use an RGB adapter to plug them into a corsair controller?
can you control the lighting of the fans without needing to connect the usb? I hate using multiple softwares and am trying to control everything with the mobo headers

My case can have up to 20 fans, any single lian li controller can have up to 16 fans with full control.
Is it possible / feasible to use two separate lian li controllers or some other solution so that I can use PWM and RGB on all 20 fans?
Does the controller work with a Galahad II Trinity SL-INF 360 ARGB AIO as well? If so would you connect the fans into the controller as well?
How would you connect these with the z73 aio so that the pump has control over the fans?

I'm planning on getting these fans for my first build in a lancool 2 mesh rgb case. However, I am just wondering how the included stock argb fans in the case will connect with this new uni hub? (4:04 are they older fans?)
Great video GS, as always. I love these how-to videos you've done. Especially since I'm more of a visual learner anyways.
But these new fans are kind of gimmicky honestly. Not a fan (lol) of the new look. I still think the ranking goes SL, AL, SL-Infinity. I absolutely loved the AL's when they came out and picked up 3 3x packs. Great fans. Then the SL's came out and after waiting around 4-5 months, I was able to get 3 3x packs and can't be happier. Their performance, rgb and the looks are top notch. Don't get me wrong, they look cool. They would go perfect with my MSI x570 Ace, which has an infinity mirror over the I/O but other than that, I don't see the need. They are a little better moving air but very, very small increase. Also maybe now Lian Li put these newer fans out the price of the SL's and AL's will drop. Wishful thinking I know but a man can have a dream now and again.
If you buy 2 of these kits, do you need to install any more rgb or pwm cables? Will just one rgb and pwm be enough.
Not sure if it me but I have brought the controller and 3x Uni Fan Sl-Inf 140mm.
The fan connectors have a 1x 4 pin PWM and 1x RGB.
Not their new connection which only compatible with the controller...
Question, if you have the unnecessary cable with the fan connection and RGB connection to the motherboard plugged in can you still control the lighting in the fan speed with L connect or is it only in your motherboard’s software? and if you don’t have that extra cable plugged in can you still think it to the lighting on your motherboard?
I can't figure out how to make my rear fan RGB because it has the 3 hole female cable and i have no where to attach it to. my mobo only has 12v pins and no 5v pins. it says the rgb needs 5v so im not gonna put it in 12v. anyway help please

please help! i have theese fans but it doenst recognize the 3rd fan for the rgb effects, any sugestion? i allready try to switch hem so i make sure that the 3 fan work well. it does, but the last fan stay whit the rgb efecct off.
If you hook them to a rad for the cpu I’m assuming you going to have to plug it in to the cpu header on the mother board to get the right speeds but then the lights won’t sync
I purchased 6 of these fans and none of them work usb is detected firmware updated but no lights or spinning happening any suggestions?

Does anyone know what I can do if my motherboard only has 4 RGB pins?
I currently have the sl 120 fans on my msi meg s360 aio. So the fan plug goes into the #1 pwm outlet on the aio and the other one goes to the rgb on the controller. How would i go about hooking these infinjty fans up with my aio? Would the pwm aio outlet not be used since theres only one cord that does both rgb and power that goes into the control box? Would this cause an error code not sensing the cooler fan? Can you help with this?? Thank you!

What do you mean the PWM plug and 5v ARGB cable is optional? Does it need to be connected? Isn't it getting the control from the USB 2.0? Thanks
the fans are sold individually and also in kits of 3. Can I buy 1 kit of 3 fans, which comes with one controller, and then buy 7 individually, putting all of them on the controller that came with the 3 fans kit? or do i need to buy 3 kits of 3 fans, using one controller for every three fan
I have one question. The motherboard that I have, each header has 1A so I won’t be able to daisy chain 3 Lian li fans because then it will be to much power for the header. So I would simply use the controller and connect the fans through their and power it up with the sata cables and usb 2.0 port. But if I wanted to use the optional route where I can control the fans through the motherboard, will it still be dangerous because it is to much amps even though it is powered by sata cables? I would greatly appreciate the help.
I did everything and it worked perfect . This video helped a lot and the software was working perfect also but then all of a sudden . In the software it doesn’t show my light sync nor speed. So I can’t do anything basically . The connect 3 I tried connect 2 software and it says it doesn’t detect my controller even tho everything is plugged correctly
