I fully agree that you can dress modestly, still look attractive, and put together! Dressing modestly does not look like you are look like you are a floating trash bag! Thank you for addressing this since I have heard some people think that dressing modestly means you look boring! So, not the truth! Great video, Abby!

Thank you! I struggle with this and it's difficult to find great outfits that are nice but not frumpy...or too revealing.
I would LOVE if you would share links to clothes. It is so difficult to find modest tops and dresses.
To add to this, if you really want to understand your body and know what looks good on you, I highly recommend checking out the Kibbe body types. As a soft natural, I figured out why I look boxy in some clothes and stylish in others. It really helps! Thanks for the video, Abby!

I’ve heard that the skirt to heel length rule came from French fashion? When buying I’d be more concerned about whether the fabric looks worn out because it might not be as durable or clean looking after it’s washed.
I’ve noticed a mi-calf skirt with a cute white sneaker has become a really common look!
It’s a really great “flat” shoe choice that doesn’t look dated or frumpy

There's nothing wrong with wearing clothes from different decades, nothing at all.
I agree with your point about flats, sadly I'm taller than most man as it is and don't really have that option, so I have to make do without it🙃
I am kind of scarred by frumpy (usually jean) church skirts, lol. So I have trouble wearing skirts, even though I do really think they look more feminine than pants.
I’m an atheist, but for myself, I appreciate modest dress and no tattoos, ring piercing, etc. for women. Obviously, this has nothing to do with religion (I have none), but solely for sartorial and aesthetic reasons: modest dress for women generally looks tasteful. Perhaps this is why I like Orthodox Jewish women; many of them are beautiful and elegant, almost like queens.
I always wondered how do you think men should dress modestly?
Her audience is mainly women but I think men are modest most of the day, at least men that work. I rarely see men showing a lot of skin or wearing unbuttoned low cut shirts or
showing their thighs. Modesty is for everyone. On an extra note, women are normally not lusting over a man wearing short shorts.

I LOVE wearing heels for special occasions and recently heard someone say it can come across as immodest if they're too high... what do you think, Abby?
It can definitely depend on the heel, but not so much the height! Some really strappy heels can cross over into BDSM-looking, and that's not great. But the height of the heel isn't the marker of modesty!

She would never say that. Not only would it be hypocritical, she also was having none of the mysoginistic nonsense. People love attributing made-up quotes to her like it validates them. It takes less than a minute googling this stuff before putting words in a dead woman's mouth.

I like dressing modestly, but I think we have very different definitions of modesty. Those pictures you showed in the beginning (around 1:50) look like normal outfits and are quite modest. I don’t really believe in showing your figure like that so I guess maybe that’s why
I think she meant yes, it covers the figure but it doesnt compliment the figure. So shes saying it is technically conservative in a utilitarian sense, but does not serve beauty or make you look womanly.
