I’ve been LOVING Elevate Beauty’s liquid lipsticks! Seriously, so impressed! Once it dries, it doesn’t transfer and it doesn’t dry out my lips! Huge fan and highly recommend
I recently just stared getting into being more classic but effortless and this is like a god send! Thank you!
This is a good list. Besides the fact that Im a leggings and big t-shirt/sweater mom (haha), having staple jewelry items has been huge for me! Having a nice pair of earrings in, that I never had to take out was surprisingly effective in making me feel put together!
Same
I LOVE lip stains, especiallly when you’re at work and don’t have time to reapply lipstick all the time.
Thanks for the tips! Will defo be using these!
Oh my goodness I feel so happy you mentioned the steamer! I love it for my clothes too. I will admit my husband wears uniforms that are so !difficult to keep wrinkles out of. The new downy wrinkle spray is excellent game changer no plug lol 😂 ..just spray and pull even works on sheets ! Love the content here girl !
The "once I had a baby my lipstick became irrelevant" is so true, haha. So was, "spit-up chic" 100%
Loved this video. Thank you! Please do another one with more tips.
Omg so happy u brought back the opera bye missed it !!!💕💕💕
Burt’s Bees tinted moisturizer chapsticks are inexpensive, highly pigmented, and not goopy 🎉. One thing about Millenials, we love steamers haha. Awesome video and tips 🤍!
I love these types of video’s! I would love to see more. ❤
- have your clothes work interchangeably eg. All tops matches all bottoms. With the exception for special occasions and sports.
- maximum impact makeup eg. Make the effort where it count in 10 minutes or less. For me that’s filling the gaps in my brows and putting on a lipstick and patting said lipstick on my cheeks 🙂
For the non movable lipstick maybelline liquid stay ink is perfect .
Tee shirt dress and sweater dresses are my fav.
& my staple accessories are my wedding rings , a big butterfly necklace & pearl choker I switch out.
The highlights in your hair suite you Miss Abby.
I don’t always agree with what you say (however I think it’s important to listen and understand different views). But this I 100% agree with. Regardless of whether you have children (I do not) I think these are key to not just being classic, but being organized.
Thanks for this video, Abby 🙂 I really enjoyed it. I will start the 'Staple jewellery' habit! Although isn't it bad for jewellery to wear it in the shower/swimming?
Thanks Abby! Love your content!
Can you do a video on your nursing friendly wardrobe? I’m a mom of a 4.5m old son and find that my cleavage is always out because my wardrobe needs to be nursing friendly. I always want to be modest but I find it so hard while nursing and having a larger bust than usual…
Try Merritt lip oil tints!!
Well I get that atuff. Good video
I love the clothes from Latched Mama. They have great nursing friendly jumpsuits and dresses on their website!
Good to know!
Where is your jumpsuit from?
All really great tips Abby lol they remind me of my mom. This isn't my personal style as I dress goth/pagan, but they are helpful tips. I actually have 4 set hairstyles I do as well, my hair is naturally curly so it's usually down and normal, in a headscarf, in two braids or if I'm feeling really fancy I'll braid in my synthetic dreads lol.
I have a physical disability & I don't know how to look classically feminine without being able to do most of these things Abby mentioned. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Bella e inteligente.
I think you’ll love the Demi tee from Downeast basics it is a cap sleeve undershirt that is a half shirt so that way you don’t get hot from earring too many layers to be modest, as a Arizona girl it’s still hot here 🥵
I'm a stepmom and my stepkids live with us full-time. I want to set an example for my stepdaughters and I often have to do dropoff, pickups, play dates, etc. The one piece outfit idea is great and very practical.
Do you have any tips on how to downplay a large chest? I was “blessed” with an H cup on a petite frame. It’s the first thing anyone notices about me and everybody feels comfortable to comment on because my chest is so disproportionate to the rest of my body. If I had $1 for every time I’ve been asked if I have implants I’d be a millionaire which kills me because all I want is reduction surgery.
When I wear fitted/tight clothing I feel almost vulgar even if it’s a turtleneck, but oversized clothing makes me look like
I’m wearing a potato sack and generally very sloppy.
I need help! All ideas welcome.
don't ask a girl without jugs herself for advice when she will tell you the same advice you've already heard a million times. sorry to break it to you
I love wearing tinted chapstick instead of lipstick
It makes everything so much easier!
These are things I grew up knowing and considering self-evident. I am from Greece so it could be cultural difference though...
Ugh, I can't get my hair to even last 24 hours without needing a rewash. The strands are so fine, dry shampoo has a way of almost making it even more flat! The struggle!!
Then buns might be a perfect fit for you!!
I have really fine hair as well, but a good volumizing mousse helps pump up the strands and stay less greasy and flat after 24 hours!
Have you tried the ballet bun? You part the hair in a mid section and secure it pretty low. There’s some good tutorials for it out there 🙂 looks sophisticated but works well for low volume hair.
Breast reduction for the ultimate Handmade’s Tale vibe.
Wow reading through the comments I see a lot of miserable and immature females on here. That’s actually sad. Try spending sometime on self improvement to be better people in society.
If THE Abby Shapiro kissed me and left a mark on me, id walk around with it with pride. Cause all these other women could never 🤌🏻
You compare baby spit up on you and how it's nice, which is based, to a husband that can't stand kiss marks from the ONE AND ONLY ABBY SHAPIRO. WHAT ?!? He doesn't appreciate your kisses ?
