For Tea, the person with aphantasia, a good idea could be playing online using something like One More Multiverse. It's like a little pixel art D&D tool/game that runs on your browser where you can create worlds, combats (enemies with set health & attack stats), characters & simple character sheets, etc and move them around the map. There's lots of premade modules from what I can tell, but you can also make worlds up from scratch. I'm sure there's probably a discord or some kind of LFG, plus it has a built in safety system so you can put what topics/themes/visuals you're ok with, dubious about, or straight up don't want in your games.
It's super visual so for someone who struggles to mentally visualise things, it could be a big help :)

I have total Aphantasia, so, a 0 out of 10. I promise you it wont stop you from having fun & interacting with the world. (Been playing for over 5 years and still going)
Ask your DM to use flavourful and descriptive language for the area you are in - specifically tactile, auditory and olfactory description (touch, sound, smell) as well as describing some objects in a more detailed way, to provide images of fantasy landscapes that would fit the scenario, and to use very simple maps for 'theatre of the mind' encounters (as in literally hand-drawn lines and boxes to represent obstacles).
Just having some visual representation, no matter how simple, is an enormous help to fill that void in your head. If imagery is missing, or if the DM is vague or describing a very large area, ask a lot of questions that can help build a scenario in your mind (even if you cant visually see it, the information still builds a room for you to move and interact in) "what do I see around?", "what do I see in the space between me and the enemy?", "if I touch the walls how does it feel like?" "If I listen closely, what do I hear?", etc.
You might think d&d is a lot about what you are 'seeing' in the literal sense, but its moreoften just about asking questions & building the scenario together until you have an idea on what you want to do. Areas are often kept vague so that you can add to the fantasy by adding your own descriptions. Familiarise yourself with your character sheet & the things your character can do outside of combat and keep the dialogue with your DM & party going!
You will find that missing the theatre of the mind feature in your brain is not as imparing as it might seem at first glance.

15:15 - Is the OP being targeted by their DM?
23:53 - How to make Silvery Barbs as a DM against himself not cringe.
30:14 - Some of the players think OP is Anti-Social (Title card Story)
42:50 - Player cant visualize things in their mind and makes the game hard.
A bit late to this one but I promise it for a reason...
    I resubbed to WoW

If you're in person, as someone with Aphantasia, Maps help a lot. If you're online then try something like Owlbear rodeo. If you're in-person, get a Dry-Erase Map Sheet, and grab some coins and stick some painter's tape with a Unique Sharpie Marking on each to serve as the representations of characters.

I only have mild aphantasia, so I can see like basic images and things. Sometimes, it's hard for me to visualize big things, so I normally make notes and break it down into more manageable parts. I make descriptive notes of certain aspects. A large red door, a small yellow ball. Luckily, with my memory, I'm able to recall aspects and try and incorporate it. I feel bad for Tea because having full aphantasia will require specific notes, and people willing to help help Tea get through it

Regarding #4 - The group of friends I DM for consists of someone with aphantasia and all have ADHD so these might overlap but I found it easy to accomodate simply by switching from theatre of the mind to using battlemaps. Roll20 is free if you’re like me and can’t afford physical battlemaps haha. I always have something visual on the screen (we play online) whether its an image of the town or the NPC they’re talking to and I use verbal descriptions very sparingly. I’ve found my players are much more engaged this way! :)

For the second story, have the sorcerer teach silvery barbs to a member of the party, so that they can still be the one making that call

I would argue that session 2 can be enough time to determine if the character's antisocial traits is going to be a problem. My story isn't exactly like the submission. I confronted another player for their character's standoffishness in the second session. The first session, that character sat in the dark corner of the tavern and talked to no one. Even when other characters went over to talked to his character, his character told them to "Fuck off". Then his character left the tavern before we even got the plot going.
The second session happens and the rest of the party had to go look for this random stranger/eventual party member. They found him and his character immediately told them to "Go the fuck away" and left. Then the party went on the adventure without his character and he got butthurt that we left him. His defense is that his character would eventually warm up to the rest of the party and we just had to wait for a year or two for it to happen.

The 'I'm not going to be part of the party' is annoying to deal with, especially when they then get upset because they miss out on stuff . I'm currently running an antisocial character in my groups D&D but I've built in plenty of reasons for him to be actively invested in hanging around with the party.

That's awful. If the player wanted to do something like that, he should have discussed it with everyone. It is a group game, the group is supposed to have some basic idea of what is going on. You can roleplay a standoffish character while still being a friendly open person, you don't have to be all antisocial OOC too. If it had been discussed as a group, it could have been worked in in a more realistic way that everyone could actually enjoy. This is something that could have been smoothed over in session 0.
But honestly, parties that start by not working together are usually doomed to play single digit session campaigns. If you aren't working together to achieve goals because "it's what my character would do", what even is the game?

@@alexisglaab2572 That's the thing, we did have a session zero. He told us he wanted to make a Strider type character. Ranger who sat in the dark corner of the Prancing Pony Inn. We were okay with it if he remembered that Strider joined the party later that night. We were okay with the lone wolf character... if they joined the party.
Like you said, you can roleplay a standoffish character while still being a friendly open person. You can be the bad boy loner and still be part of the group. All he had to do was have his character say whatever cool guy line he wanted, trail in the back when we went off on the adventure, and maybe lean against a tree off to the side while the rest of us RP while short resting.
