    Clip Studio Paint changed my life, and its got such a wide variety of methods and options to choose and it can be overwhelming for people thinking they need to master every single tool in the program, but its nice to sit and have someone break down just how these can be utilized. There's relief that I don't have to use all of these, but so many ways to solve little issues I run into. Time management is a big thing with how quickly I finish my art, especially with coloring so this helped me so much. Thanks for the vids!

      It is as you said. You don't need to use and master every single tool to be a good artist. But it is good to at least know of them, and maybe try them out at least once.

    I appreciate your thoroughness, and your intuitive description of functions and when / why the user would / wouldn't use them. And your demos -- truly, it's not easy finding this sort of straightforward instruction re: Clip Studio Paint. I also like the fact that you keep your examples simple -- shapes, lines, and not a bunch of manga / cartoons / Thunderdome / Game of Thrones-type illustrations, which are distracting. Thank you.

    Wow! You went through every type of line! I usually line with a low density brush so its transparent- i guessed it was but this definitely confirmed it and why certain brushes look weird on it! Thank you so much. Its been an absolute pain filling and watching this is helping me alot.

    Excellent explanations! A thing I find useful with the fill bucket tool, is that it can also be used to erase an area instead of filling it. Just select the transparent color instead of the foreground/background color.
    The paint unfilled area option is quite useful for those little spots that were not filled with the fill bucket. Instead of paiting them manually, you can quickly brush over those areas to fill them. If the line and the color is on one layer, this is much quicker than having to work with a brush.
    I have also did some trials with auto actions and the fill tools, so you could automize some steps of the process, like when you want to create a base color layer based on vector lines. But that is quite tricky, but could be useful for repetitive work.

      @@Mink-tDR Can I ask you a question? I'm trying to find a way to make color flats faster and more efficient and the only way I see is with the selection pen tool in photoshop, do you know how I could do it in csp?
      I would like to paint without lines in my works like the pros

    • @Mink-tDR
      @Mink-tDR  2 года назад +1

      @@MrVegito So you mean you want to paint flat colors without lines?
      Well, I can't really think of faster ways than using the lasso fill, poly line, continuous curve, or simply a solid brush. You can use brushes that have different shapes to achieve different looks. Which tool is the best depends on what you want to draw.
      Another method that comes to minds is that you draw lines at first, fill them in with the fill tools, and then hide the lines. That's probably not faster though.
