- Hello Hello! I’m PJayScribbles,
I’m a professional illustrator that’s been using Clip Studio Paint for over 4 years.
And today I’m going to teach you how to speed up YOUR workflow using clip studio paint’s fill tools so you can start coloring your illustrations like a Pro!
I've also made a Text version of this tutorial if you prefer learning that way!

Such a helpful video!! ❤️❤️ I didn’t even know the paint unfilled area tool existed!!
Thank you!!! And yeah! I don't use it all the time but it's definitely a tool that I've noticed not a lot of people talk about. It's a super awesome addition to the fill tool set for sure 💖
Thanks for the great video! ♥ I'll try this out on my next illustration!

Really good You got a new sub
Thank you so much!! 🥰💞
Good morning, I wanted to ask for some advice, I have been struggling with this for a couple of months, I still can't seem to convert my drawings into real art, is this a problem because I always draw at 2x Dital pen scale? I'm trying to choose colours wisely whereas I've read about 100s of tutorials and videos on yt that there is such a thing as specific colours that everyone follows. I know my problem is quite poorly described but I don't know what to do myself. I've even tried making carbon copies of images from ai bots but all that comes out is a drawing, all the time colouring and shading doesn't give the same effect. All the time when I colour these characters I have the feeling that something is missing, I have tried multiplay options etc. Nothing helps me /: sorry for my bad English
Damn so this is how they do it, thanks!
P.s. Am i also a PRO now? Yaaay let's go! \o/
You're welcome!! I'm so glad the tips were helpful for you!!! 😊💕
csp pro 2.0 does not work for me, the setting is -0.10, it is either 0 or -1
Hello!! This is a video made back in 2022 and since then there's been some updates, I also use CSP 2.0 and still have these values settings which leads me to suspect there might be either a system difference (I use windows 11) or perhaps some other odd differences between versions since some other comments have mentioned this but with different numbers from either the set I had or others like -20 to 20. Which is unfortunately very confusing. The number that is suggested in this video is a setting that's just a slight subtraction from the fill tool to keep it from creating overflow so -1 should be fine for you but please let me know if there are any further issues with it. Depending on how the tool works you might not have to make any edits at all :)
issue, I cannot get my area scaling to -0.10, are you able to help with this?
Yes! My first question is what exactly is happening when you type the number in? You should be able to type in any in-between numbers from -1.00 to 1.00. If it keeps resetting itself I would not hit the enter key and simply click outside of the box. If typing it in continues to give you problems all you have to do is click and drag the slider to the left of the numbers. This controls the values. Then you should be able to slide it to the -0.10 value. I show the typing method as it is more accurate but the slider will never do you wrong! Hope that helps ✨💖
@@pjayscribbles Im having the same issue as above. My scale doesn't go from -1 to 1 but rather -20 to max 20. If i try and put in decimal it reverts to whole numbers so if I type -0.10 it becomes -10. Ill have to play with it with the values. I found you through the Clip studio Tips of the month and am glad I did. Fantastic work, and thanks for posting these videos.
Thank you so much!! Are you using the most recent version of clip studio paint? I'm using 1.11.14, I believe this error has to do with different versions of the program. For me I cannot type in values higher than 1 and will get the reset issue you're having. I would update the program first and try it again as it will allow you to not only have access to newer features but it should fix the problem you are having. Let me know if that works for you 😊💖
help it no longer free
sorry my bad., i found the free one, why there a paid one though?
Hi there! I'm glad you found the free tool. I'm not sure what you might've found before but to answer your question, some assets on the asset store are not free and prices are set by whomever the uploader of the asset is :)
