I live in Utah and watched Wilson play high school and college ball here. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and was known as an arrogant person with some teammates at BYU disliking his attitude and sense of entitlement. BYU looked the other way on numerous infractions he committed despite it being a private religious school because his father is well connected in the Mormon church which is run by wealthy businessmen.

The most popular player on the Jets every year is the backup QB, we always want the shiny new toy. IMO the most successful model for building up a rookie QB is to hand him a clipboard and have him learn from a vet: Young, Rodgers, Mahomes, even Garoppolo. Have him learn, build your O line, build his confidence in practice, get him used to the media market, and then play him when he is ready. You have 5 years with him, it takes patience and the long view, if you rush him, you may ruin him forever.

IMO the most successful model for building up a rookie QB is to hand him a clipboard and have him learn from a vet: Young, Rodgers, Mahomes, even Garoppolo. Have him learn, build your O line, build his confidence in practice, get him used to the media market, and then play him when he is ready. You have 5 years with him, it takes patience and the long view, if you rush him, you may ruin him forever.

@@DionysusAlS I'm just making a joke because the coin was undefeated - the Jets won every game it said they'd win and lost every game it said they'd lose - up until the Bears game. Then the Jets Twitter said something along with "sorry to defy you, but we needed to win this game. Lead us with your wisdom in the coming weeks." And every since then, the coin is winless.

Stop please. Streveler is gritty but in the NFL he can’t be anymore then a Hill is on the Saints. His arm is nowhere near NFL worthy. He can run and that’s all he does. Please.
@@dannygigante3970 I don’t think you and I watched the same Streveler play in the preseason. He threw the ball plenty. Just because you can throw deep doesn’t make you a “worthy NFL QB” lol. Wilson can throw the field but to who?? David Carr was the same way. Versatility wins the game. No predictability
@@josephporro1687 he just don’t have the arm. Look at the throw to either Uzomah/ or Conklin up the middle. No mustard in it. That should have been 7. Pre season he was great but regular season is totally different game. It don’t matter we won’t see him again. White is healthy and starting thank god.

And this week yes I think we definitely see a package with Streveler. Hopefully down at the goal line. But then again Lafleur is a really bad OC so he probably won’t know how to take advantage of it.
