@@johnklein6040:Exactly. You are no longer the QB once the ball is no longer possessed by your team. I mean, the only thing that could have been a more flagrant misapplication of roughing the passer is if a QB throws an INT and benefits from a roughing the passer call because he gets his clock cleaned trying to make a tackle. One of the worst calls I've ever seen. I understand why the crowd was so incised. The ref was lucky to get out of there alive. The crowd was on the verge of becoming an angry mob. We all know what angry mobs are capable of doing.
On the other hand, I think Chris Jones did a stellar job of maintaining his cool. Two weeks ago he get slammed with an unsportsmanlike for talking smack. Who knows if it was truly warranted, It was a call that severely impacted the results of the game. Now this week he is targeted again or so one might argue. Not so long ago he would have reacted differently. So pleased he kept his mouth shut and remained focused on the game. He is a key component in the defense, Without him the Chiefs are going to have a hard time winning close games. He does make a difference. There's really no one on the team to fill his shoes. He plays about 75% of all defensive snaps. He is needed out there as much as possible. Good job, Chris. Way to maintain your cool and your professionalism.
