He has no talent… he has a very good arm but accuracy and decision making is so horrible… if his first read is not red right he either double pumps or tries to run and over throws and gets recievers hit for no reason!!! This is like watching the anti-Mahomes. Like if all the crazy shit Mahomes tries to pull went wrong instead of going right. They have very similar athletic profiles and play styles, but Mahomes was blessed by the football gods and Wilson was cursed by them.
Mahomes did inherit a talented roster that got a 1st round bye dragging Alex Smith and Zach Wilson was drafted by the worst Franchise in football, but I get your point.
Hopefully the jets learn From this And Rodgers can teach him the game more

Boys I only watch Jets games, Every now and then I catch RedZone and an occasional game just to catch up around the league.
I knew it was bad when last year, literally every Quarterback in the NFL was able to complete passes. Guys like Jared Goff and Davis Mills, who no one gives love to were all way more competent than this scrub.
He has a cult following, He’s Jay Cutler with less Football IQ.
I was at the game against the Jaguars, At least Mike Glennon would know what a Quarterback looks like. This kid wings it and I don’t think he can read coverage

This hypes me even more seeing how Rodgers will help him improve. With Jordan Love you consistently saw better mechanics and footwork surprisingly year after year especially since Rodgers has "bad" footwork. But i think in this case you will see improvement in presnap reading and mental fortitude and coming from Rodgers should be a big help for Zach. Interesting to see how it unfolds

Zach made a lot of garbage throws last season. More than enough to justify some of the negative outlooks out there. But benching him for a practice team running QB showed a lot of the dysfunctional reality of the Jets too.

The problem with this video is that is hasn't aged well in the current sports meta narrative. Zach Wilson has shown legitimate poise noted by not only a new majority of the talking heads at ESPN, but also the disbelievers on social media. RUclips and TikTok football nerds are almost desperately hoping the football public will wake up to one fact: That Zach Wilson is actually self aware. In some cases, seems to be a little bit of both.
I think Zach Wilson actually led the NFL with the most time to throw in the league. Some of this was him extending plays with his feet, but still, I think he had the most time in the league.
and when he has time to throw he throws off the mark anyways. So it doesn't really matter here since with or without he cant play good.
I mean he was bad but look at what he had around him… He’ll make it as a backup
Uh, he had the offensive rookie of the year and defensive rookie of the year on his team along with Breece Hall. He had an all decade team compared to any team Darnold or Geno had.

I wouldn't count Mayfield in yet. He actually wasn't terrible until he got hurt. Add that to him not having a connection with Beckham plus the availability of Watson, he was done in CLE. But we'll see what happens next. He's not the best but by far not the worst.

I was rooting for Zach Wilson but i had a thought that he was gonna be awful in the nfl.
I feel like his arm is so weak. Wasn’t that one of his strengths coming out of college? The ball just sails out of his hand and is never in the right spot. His side arm motion doesn’t look like it generates much power . Just my opinion. I think we all got tricked by his off platform throws and arm flexibility, but his arm itself looks pretty weak. Not to mention he’s quite inaccurate
