      Specially when you look at the pony tail guy.

    • @qrowing
      @qrowing 4 года назад +38

      @@HullsColby But actually.

      Anybody who thinks otherwise is incredibly gullible.

    • @Taka1HR
      @Taka1HR 4 года назад +55

      Besides being a martial artist, they are also actors practicing professionally. No matter how funny or cheesy the unedited performance is, they just have to put their trust in the VFX artist to do their job in the industry (Case and point; Geralt in The Witcher series is just Henry Cavil playing pretend to have witcher powers, before the VFX.) With this being a demo of sorts, we get to see the performance with some minimal editing.
      So yes, though I am long winded, I do second your opinion of them being professional.

      You mean ichimonji ? it depends. Ichimonji is a shitty idea if you want to go damageless. High monk/dragon flash is the best combo for me. An even better idea is to stop relying on combat arts altogether

      @kobeagu8314 4 года назад +10

      STRANGER depends on the fight. Tell me when you could spiral cloud passage against long arm centipede giraffe, you have no poise in the combo so you’d be hit out of it, try ichimonji-ing the folding screen monkeys without stunning them first. But then high monk destroys anybody with a sweep, and spiral cloud will melt mini bosses like the ashina elite if you have living force applied.

    • @stranger6545
      @stranger6545 4 года назад +16

      kobe agu long arm you just need to parry. Folding screen monkeys can be caught by doing the puzzle, and corrupted monk when sweeping just needs to be stunned using the headstomp attack

    Nice, but I think you guys did whirlwind slash wrong, bcuz as you can see Wolf is using energy of first slash to jump and then slashes a second time, but you are slashing and then using additional energy to jump and slash.

    The sword was a very elegant weapon in the days of the samurai. You had honor and chivalry much like the knights, and yet it was a gruesome and horrific weapon 🔪🔪🔪 Sore wa osoroshikute osoroshi bukideshita. Watashi wa Nihon no bushi no jidai ni zutto kyomi ga arimashita 🈴🈳🈷🈸🈯

    The amount of times I cought myself gasping or holding my breath viewing this was remarkable. Though neither man may not have said a thing, the *risk of limb loss* performing the simplest of slicing or cutting techniques in this video is prodigiously high, and cannot be understated. The focus and composure these men must possess to gather the intestinal fortitude within themselves to even attempt these techniques in the first place-!! These two are trained to swing the sharpest blades known to man at speeds which must be slowed to be seen- allow this fact to settle down snug on your spongy brain meats.

      Not that they both probably haven't trained in the use of real blades also, and are both really skilled, but it looks like they're using practice/prop weapons.

    I dig how Toru instinctively uses his left hand to steady his scabbard, even when it’s not there x3 And makes sure that his uppercuts end on a defensive line, rather than flying wide like baseball swings.
    Taishi has such snappy footwork tho, my goodness. Just snaps forward exactly like the game.
