Great watch. Glad you picked the best vacation(black dial, black bezel, blue GMT hand). A GMT complication on an Aviation style watch just makes more sense than any other GMT watch out there.
Im selling my green bezel.just bought this month unworm mint condition with 5yr warranty..i want this black version...if youre interested pm me ill work out a deal with you.
As others said, the 42mm looks great on you. Really wish I could pull it off (6.5” wrist). In hand, the 42mm looks better than the 39mm, but due to the lug length, the 39mm is significantly easier to pull off and more comfortable. Congrats to anyone who is comfortable with the 42! I understand why they released it in that size first. Pilot watch is intended to be big. I feel the same about divers; wear the biggest size you can.
Thank you very much for this post, that is one absolutely beautiful, sharp looking watch bruv. As for it being too big, it's got good presence but no way is it too big for you. I'm toying with the idea of getting one myself but I'd probably plumb for the green bezel. Having said that I'm torn between several of the new pieces longines have released of late. The new Ultra Chron I think is something special as is the more simpler Silver Arrow.. That's the trouble with longines we're kind of spoilt for choice aren't we lol. Anyway again many thanks for the excellent video the more information we can get the better informed choice we will make.. Cheers bruv.. Bye bye from the UK. Subscribed. Good luck with the channel!
Thank you for the kind words and subscribing! Yes, Longines have been killing it lately with these releases. The new Ultra-Chron looks excellent, I’m just not sure I’d like the texture of the dial. I need to see one in person to decide I think. I have also been thinking about getting the silver arrow as a dressier option. One could buy the three (Zulu time, ultra chron, and silver arrow) and never have the need for another piece. Those three would pretty much cover it. Also appreciate how much watch per dollar you get here. Tudor has traditionally held that “in house Swiss brand/bang for buck” role, but I feel Longines are gunning for them. A little competition is a good thing.
@@rstrimp226 Many thanks for your reply to my comment. Yes Longines are and always have been a prestige brand. Of course they kind of got a bit lost during the quartz crisis but in many ways the Ultra Chron was their answer to high vph high accuracy movements... Back in the day Longines would be wiping the floor with many of the top brands now Tudor and Omega included. With longines release of their amazing back catalogue we're pretty much spoilt for choice on all fronts Diver, Dress, Pilot and everyday beater watches. One minute I look at The new Ultra Chron, the next I'm drawn to the Zulu Time, then I get distracted by the Silver Arrow or The Tuxedo lol... Its never ending bruv lol... Come to think of it I think I'll hold back a little bit to see what longines new Ultra Chron release looks like. Now they've let that rabbit out of the bag I can't see it being their only release of a watch with that newly developed movement inside of it... Decisions decisions eh lol Anyway again thanks for the post and chat. Good luck again with your channel! Bye bye for now.
Nice review, and I agree. In the price range longines is killing it at the moment. The 37mm Spirit also looks very interesting. I’m also on the list for an FXD but I fear it will take a very long time before it’s my turn.
Hey, Loved both your videos on this watch. Helped me in my decision to purchase the green one. I have ordered the leather strap, it costs $350 (US) here in India.
I think Longines should make them with date centered. Their site pics show it centered. Not good imo. Great info. I like the watch. All of my watches are black, I'm thinking about the blue sunburst for something different. I have a Daytona and small to me at 40mm, so 42mm seems ok. I want a Longines so this might be my pic for traveling. I wish now I bought the USA limited from Longines.
Che circonferenza ha il tuo polso in centimetri? Ti sta perfettamente. Sul mio polso da 18 cm calza benissimo. Ce l’ho anch’io braccialato ma preferisco il cinturino in pelle blu 😍
Size is perfect for you. I wish it was available in 44 or 46. Still my 47 Pams or my everyday favourites. Nowadays the trend is..wearing smaller watches for men.. like clothes getting more girlish for men..like men putting make-up... oh my..oh my.....
My wrist is your size and it’s a 42 is a great size. I went in and tried both sizes on and the readability is better in the 42 plus the 39 feels like everything is squeezed together more and makes the watch seem busier than the 39. Just my opinion but whatever you like better is what you should get regardless of what people on the internet say! lol

Thank you, and I agree. A true aviation fan’s watch they made here.
Nice follow up video. I agree with other comments on the size. Who cares what others think. Wear what u like and makes you happy!
Nice! I'm going to buy a 39mm Zulu Time soon that just got released. My wrist is only 6.25". So excited.
Me too. The green one. Sold my Black Bay Pro

@@kentperez6760 thanks for the offer, I'm actually eying the black one as well.
I looks great, thanks for the review, I love the zulu time and the ultra chron , longines definitely on the up.
I love the longer lugs, looks great on your wrist👍

Thank you! Yea not a fan of having to wait for a Tudor. Hopefully it won’t be long for us!
Just pick up blue longines Zulu time last week love it!! Love tudo but price make me change my mind 😉
That watch fits you just fine,it wears looks, smaller than a 42 ,wouldn't go any larger though, lovely watch mate.
Watch is so good it made you lose your voice for a second there😂 beautiful watch, perfect size
Getting the green one next month. Excited for it.
It doesn’t look too big on your wrist.
This looks GREAT. I think I may go for the GREEN one. Excellent video footage to help me decide to go for it on this Longines!
Thanks for stopping by! You will love it!
It's perfectly fine for your wrist. Looks awesome.
it's not too big, fits you fine
what size is your wrist? (I think it looks great on your wrist, not too big at all)
It’s not too big. congratulations!
Hey, Loved both your videos on this watch. Helped me in my decision to purchase the green one.
I have ordered the leather strap, it costs $350 (US) here in India.
Glad to hear! Yea, the straps are pricey. I'm hoping to be able to order one soon for mine! Wear in good health!
The straps have great quality and the new clasp is simply brilliant but yes 350 dollars is way to much even tough the quality is quite good
great review, but if they made this in 40mm and replaced the numerals with hour markers I'd be all in
Loving my Longines Zulu Time
It's a great watch, wear what you like.
I wonder would the date window being off centre be more noticeable on other colours??
I think Longines should make them with date centered. Their site pics show it centered. Not good imo. Great info. I like the watch. Good looking watch - only thing I don’t like is the “longines” on the clasp.
Agreed. The winged hourglass would be much better.
I think the date problem is a kurning issue. If you determine the exact center of the 2 numbers, that is the center of the watch.
The date 'offset' may be an accounting for looking slightly down your arm when looking closely for the date.....kind of a parallax type idea.
Looks perfect on your wrist 👌🏻, what's your wrist size ?
How is the bracelet?
Nice watch and although my wrist can handle 42mm I would prefer this watch in 39mm or 41mm like the Hydroconquest due to the long lugs.
The 39mm model has been announced
Loving this watch
Did you end up getting one? I’m loving mine for sure.
@@rstrimp226 not yet. Still waiting for it to come in. I want all 3 colors honestly. But starting with the green
Che circonferenza ha il tuo polso in centimetri?
Ti sta perfettamente.

Ce l’ho anch’io braccialato ma preferisco il cinturino in pelle blu 😍
The date looks off kilter on some days as not all numerals are symmetrical.
I have the same watch with green version. Does your watch bezel move when pressed down? Mine moves a little. Other than that, everything is perfect.
Thanks for stopping by! Mine does not move when I press down on it. Very solid here.
Just bought this one but green bezel
The next time I service my watch, I'll want to remove the GMT hand. Similarly, a date window is not needed.
Not too big. Just right.
It’s not big for your wrist. It’s perfect, but even if it was a little big, it’s a pilot watch so it’s ok.
Size is perfect for you. I wish it was available in 44 or 46. Still my 47 Pams or my everyday favourites. Nowadays the trend is..wearing smaller watches for men.. like clothes getting more girlish for men..like men putting make-up... oh my..oh my.....
I agree, 45/46 mm is the perfect size for me. I hate small watches.
A pilot style GMT is supposed to be nice and legible. 42mm is JUST fine.
42 is fine, but 53 lug to lug is definitely not
I have a 6.75 inch wrist do you think this watch would be too big ?
It might be pushing it. I would try one on if you can. If you like larger watches it shouldn’t be too much of an issue though.
My wrist is your size and it’s a 42 is a great size. Shame about the scratches! I know what you mean about the long lug length. I have the Spirit Chrono and it wears much smaller on the leather strap.
Excited to see how this one wears on the strap then. And the scratches will come out with a cape cod cloth. All normal wear.
Does this watch have ar coat on outside? Dam. Don't like that.
Borderline too big as you said, but it isnt comical so it doesn’t really matter
Yeah toooooo big😂
Much to huge for your wrist.
I wonder if I should get this or tudor gmt. Dam looks good zulu time
I would try on both if you can. Both are great, I just prefer the Zulu Time. Good luck on you search!
Clasp looks very cheap
