After 6mths of ownership this watch with its quality and classy look still impresses me every time i put it on and even glance at it. This is my only "luxury" watch so I can't really compare it to others but so far it has performed flawlessly and I'm sure it will serve me well for many years to come. My budget was more than double what this watch costs and originally I had my heart set on buying an Omega but after trying on quite a few different Omega's, Tudor's, Breitling's etc I opted for the Longines Spirit Zulu time, not because of the price & value it offers but more for its quality, looks and feeling on the wrist. It's an impressive watch for which I have received some nice comments when wearing. Buy the watch you desire the most not the "brand" that you think you should👍

People have NO idea how beautiful and good this particular watch is. After watching many vids of it I went to a Longines store to see it in person … I was stunned by the amazing finish, quality overall this piece posses, so much so I’m ordering a green dial one tomorrow. You can’t beat this watch for the money. Highly recommended.

The regular Spirit looks incredible in person, too. I think it looks ugly in pictures/video, but in person is a completely different experience.

I just bought this watch, it’s perfect for me. It’s an excellent aviators watch. As an airline pilot, I find the GMT arm very useful. It’s easy to read and the sapphire crystal cover means it won’t scratch up when I’m in the cockpit at work. Nice job Longines!

I have it and I love it. Tudor BB Pro too. Both are different watches. The Tudor wears more comfortable because it has a better bracelet. The Longines feels more substantial on my 7.5 inch wrist. Accuracy is the same. The GMT hand is more legible on the Tudor. Really one can’t go wrong with either. I need a GMT watch so I just alternate these. Only time will tell which one is better. Cheers!

I looked at them in person, the 39 mm feels very small for my taste, that’s why I’m getting the 41 mm because it fits right on the spot. I don’t have a think wrist but the 41 mm was better … the 39mm looks more of a woman’s watch. Again that’s my personal opinion after trying them.

Gorgeous watch and it looks like your date is displayed centrally in the date window? I'd heard of a few that were slightly misaligned......which would play havoc with my OCD. Nice overview of a watch from a brand that is clearly on a strong roll currently.

I think the screws on the case back are not simply to continue the theme of aviation. I've seen the case back removed, and I'm not sure there's room for threading for a normal screwed on case back. I think this is how they are achieving the relative thinness of this watch.

Tudor black bay GMT doesn’t have the Tfit clasp and the Zulutimes case and bracelet are stainless steel not titanium. Figured Hiconsumption would have their info correct

    • @Hiconsumption

Correction, not master chonometer rated. Only Omegas and a select tudors are master chronometer certified. The longines is only chronometer certified. The "master" denotes a even more precise level of accuracy that is absent here.

Nice presentation but this is no difference than Rolex or other high end costing time pieces. I do own a Pepsi and a few Omegas. But I have found the Seiko GMT to be as good as any over priced units. Whether a “true” or “travelers “ gmt, they both give the same information to us pilots. So ask yourself, does spending a small fortune really worth it in your lifetime? As an old retired physician, I can tell you NO. It’s all hype for watch manufacturers and dealers. No different than clothing designers or stupid expensive tennis shoes. We need to get back to reality.
