Longines absolutely killing it recently, every release looks brilliant. Feel like not many brands are more deserving of my money right now, but not sure which I'd go with. The green and gold fly back chrono is stunning. Currently have my green dial Speedmaster 57 on the wrist on my Speedy pro bracelet.
I’m wearing this very watch, bought it yesterday and love it. Had been looking at the green bezel version for about a year but instantly knew the titanium one was perfect the instant I saw it.
Love the spirit zulu time 39mm from Longines already and this one hits a lot of the same details while improving on them. It's up there with the green bezel L3.802.4.63.6 on a dark brown leather strap. I'm not sure which one I prefer more. They both have one of the most satisfying second hand designs that I've ever seen, there's something so cool and special about a seconds hand that perfectly eclipses it's marker every 5 seconds. The coloration of the date, the red zulu time and gmt hand, the mix of matte and polished ceramic bezel tint to provide contrast, then those same bezel textures/colors being tied together with the anthracite dial. Small details coming together like this really feels like the peak of watch design. Much better than many other brands who rely heavily on exotic materials to justify their costs. Maintaining 100m wr, a magnetic resistant cosc certified movement, and some extremely impressive and wearable dimensions for all of this. The only flaw is the 21mm lug size for strap changes (same with the previous versions, have tons of strap options in 20/22 but none in 21) but the bracelet looks good enough that I doubt it will really be much of an issue. I would also like to see an on the fly micro adjustment clasp to compete with Tudor but these things take time and they have to leave some improvements for the next iteration. The Longines Spirit Zulu is the GMT to buy on today's market Wearing a Zelos Spearfish GMT (caller) - Bumblebee today
The bezel is both of the friction type and also with clicks. That's why the clicks are not that prominent. This allows for both measuring elapsed time, hence the lumed triangle, and measuring another time zone. The other option that would allow to combine these two functionalities would be a 72-click bezel like mido heritage diver gmt. I prefer the longines implementation and for me the best bezel on a gmt watch at the moment.
Agree on the your opinion for a white dial variant, on a Titanium body however an open case back would result in an unnecessary increase in case thickness.
Longines and Tudor are killing it in their segments. They release absolute bangers lately with improvements upon the previous versions. Very good value for money!
Wearing my Grand Seiko “Mistflake” (SBGE285) GMT today. Still can’t get over the spring drive sweep on this thing. Loving the two tone bezel on the Longines GMT!
Hi Harrison. Great vid. I've admired the Zulu Time for awhile and like the 39mm and titanium on this model. Have 2 GMTs already from Tudor and GS...don't really travel anymore but love the watches. Wearing one of my weekend Seiko Peanuts limited editions...surfing Snoopy...put it on a steel mesh bracelet and like the look. Thanks again for the excellent content...the recent Iceland adventure drone shots were absolutely stunning!
I was able to visit Carat & Co in New York the day after its release and it felt like nothing on the wrist with its titanium case. It was a beautiful watch indeed and I think the best under 5k gmt around
I tried the bronze legend diver but it was too long. I ended up buying the new BB58 GMT which is great. I would've given this a look for sure. One for the want list, such a nice watch, love the 2 tone bezel ❤
I really like what Longines have been doing over the past 2 years but they don't hit me in 'that' spot for some reason, but I'm on a hint for a GMT also. Oh and wearing my 'daily' desk diver - Mil Ltd Edition Peli 👌🏾
Wearing a longines conquest 41 mm , with green dial .I love it. I want a GMT and the Zulu is my favorite of all brands . Longines is killing it. I don’t know what to do. I’m also in love with the blue fly back model. Gonna have to sell some stuff .
I tried this watch on, the green one, and it is really a stunner. Perfect size and weight. Loved everything about it except there’s no on the fly adjustment. It looks like San Martin is making a nice homage to this watch, which looks about 90% - 95% as good, but it has the on the fly adjustment. I might be going San Martin and saving a bundle. Great review.
Stunning 👨🏻🦲👌🏻 I definitely want a zulu. I'm wearing my Longines Spirit 42mm again. I've got an Aqua Terra and a Sub in my box and I still pick up the Spirit 70% of the time; I simply prefer it. Longines are so underrated.
Wearing my green auto PRX 40mm as I do almost every day now lol. My next 3 watches I want are this: a Pepsi in jubilee and a white Speedmaster. You have great taste sir!
Longines Master Collection Green Dial with Roman Numerals a lovely entry level watch and is very thin for an automatic watch, which is what I'm currently wearing. I have the Zulu Time but in stainless steel with the blue dial another great value watch.
Love this. Looks really nice. Definitely keep the metal strap for me. Currently wearing a white faced Tissot PRX quartz. Cheap and cheerful for the day
Bought the Zulu 42 when it came out in 2022. But really consider to sell it and swap for the 39mm Zulu in Titanium. Just find the 21mm lug width annoying.
Longines Zulu Time 42 mm Black/Green on my wrist today. Haha. How could I choose? This Zulu Time 39 mm Titanium and Tudor BB58 GMT? Almost the same price. And the same good looking.
I love longines. Own a couple. Cant go wrong. However dont sleep on microbrands like traska. They use newly available Japanese true GMT movements and are slim.
VERY nice watch. Just starting my watch collecting journey and don't have a Longines. This is a very sexy watch. Loving the channel. Thanks for all you do.
At 39mm there is a large bezel that means the actual dial diameter is quite small. I wish they would add more 42 and 43mm watches variations of the models.
•Lume on the Arabic numerals •No unnecessary 24-hour track on the dial that already on the bezel Longines fixed everything Seiko got wrong with their SSK023/025 GMT last year. Good job 👍
I think the BB58 GMT is still better, but I have been comparing the two and trying to decide which I want to buy. As for my wrist, I'm wearing a custom Christopher Ward C65 GMT.
I'm coming around but 3 O'Clock date window is better than 6 O'Clock to me. I don't care about symmetry; I care about readability. Also, started out, like most in this hobby, on Seiko Divers and all of mine have day/date complications at 3:00
What do you think about misalignment of the date? All the models of Spirit Zulu Time have a bigger gap on the right side of the date and i think this shouldn’t be there at this price range.
That watch is a class! Titanium can be pretty much wonder in weighting and many times could improve your arm movement since you didn't feel the weight when wearing.
Agree with all of that, just the large male end links spoil it IMO.. They don't need quick release on a titanium bracelet model as you want to use the whole watch in this material. Wish they would titanium the Hydroconquest GMT too, even bettee in a 39mm also.
Guys, help me out! I've been wanting the zulu green bezel version since its release. This watch will be my very first mechanical watch for my 39th birthday in November. The release of titanuim version kind of got me indecisive when I reserved them at my dealer with a good price.
To use a phrase it looks like Longines are back. They use to be a top brand, then they went lower lets say, but now they are coming back even stronger than before.
Longines is a brand that make great value watches, but there’s not many out of their catalog that I like personally. This Zulu time does look super well made, but for the price, I’m always going to save a little more and get an Omega. Also, it seems like dude in the video is wanting a dive bezel on this pilots watch. FYI, pilot watch bezels don’t click like dive watch bezels, and that is by design. Finally, the end link on this watch isn’t integrated to the watch case, it’s just a male end link, which male end links tend to add to the perceived l2l length of a watch. edit: oh, and grade 5 titanium is stronger than grade 2 because grade 5 isn’t full titanium like grade 2. Grade 5 has other metals mixed in with titanium that make it a harder material than grade 2. Because of this, grade 5 has a lighter appearance that can resemble stainless, whereas grade 2 is a darker shade that is obviously titanium in appearance.
Don't be embarrassed that you think this watch is sexy! It is. No foul. I do like the Domed crystal but the flat line down the case sides is unappealing. It won't lay nicely on the wrist. I have a few like that,Invicta,Watchdives even the Legendary original Oystercase from ROLEX and TUDOR. Even the new TUDORS are flattened. I'm not a fan.
Atm, Longines makes best reasonably priced luxury watches. And I love when you cover those watches!
They make awesome watches!! Thanks mate, glad you enjoy
On the wrist I am wearing the 42mm Longines Spirit Zulu GMT in blue. But love the color combo on this watch and the titanium.
Longines have always made brilliant watches but you hardly hear about them on RUclips so thanks for this review
Really? Longines is quite heavily rebiewed on RUclips
Love the spirit zulu time 39mm from Longines already and this one hits a lot of the same details while improving on them. The Longines Spirit Zulu is the GMT to buy on today's market
Wearing a Zelos Spearfish GMT (caller) - Bumblebee today
Today is my Zelos Mako GMT Timekeepers edition. The only GMT I currently own. You are definitely correct Longines is really bringing great pieces out.
Absolutely love my longines hydro conquest gmt 43mm
43mm is a nice size for men .
Thank You Harrison - as always
Green Avi-8 Hawker Hurricane. Despite having a few luxury watches and the Hawker being only a couple of hundred quid I just love this as a daily. 👍🏼
Hi! I understand that it is hard to compare but what you would recommend to buy - this model or Breitling Superocean Heritage II ?
I was able to visit Carat & Co in New York the day after its release and it felt like nothing on the wrist with its titanium case. It was a beautiful watch indeed and I think the best under 5k gmt around
I tried the bronze legend diver but it was too long. I ended up buying the new BB58 GMT which is great. I would've given this a look for sure. One for the want list, such a nice watch, love the 2 tone bezel ❤
I’ve got the hydroconquest in blue. In my opinion it’s a much nicer blue than the Omega SMP 300 diver. Gorgeous dial.
I really like what Longines have been doing over the past 2 years but they don't hit me in 'that' spot for some reason, but I'm on a hint for a GMT also. Oh and wearing my 'daily' desk diver - Mil Ltd Edition Peli 👌🏾
Today I’m sporting my Hamilton KFA 42mm blue dial on the canvas strap. Absolutely stunning. Love it.
Wearing a longines conquest 41 mm , with green dial .I love it. I want a GMT and the Zulu is my favorite of all brands . Longines is killing it. I don’t know what to do. I’m also in love with the blue fly back model. Gonna have to sell some stuff .
Have the same watch and it’s just gorgeous IRL
Wearing the new Seiko Shogurai black! Simple and beautifully. Nice video and definitely a very nice Longines.
Omega Speedmaster white dial available here in Chicago. I had the chance to buy it yesterday
Stunning 👨🏻🦲👌🏻
I definitely want a zulu.
I'm wearing my Longines Spirit 42mm again. I've got an Aqua Terra and a Sub in my box and I still pick up the Spirit 70% of the time; I simply prefer it.
Longines are so underrated.
I’ve had the Legend Diver 42mm for a few years, wear it everyday and still love it. This one is tempting though…
My favorite brands are Seiko, Raymond Weis & Hamilton. this watch is absolutely beautiful definitely on my list to buy
Longines is basically doing it all right now. Thanks for the intro to this watch! (Got my camouflage dial G-Shock on the wrist)
Currently travelling through Switzerland with the Longines Zulu Time Hodinkee! Fantastic under the radar watch for travel!
I love the look of this. I've been debating a zulu for a year now, this might push me over the edge
I agree. Longines has been knocking it out of the park!
I do love this watch - cant see me getting permission from my wife - she tutted enough over my CW Trident 300.......
Couldn't agree more about the white dial in the spirit line. That's definitely what they need to come out with next!
This watch is awesome. Longines has definitely been killing it lately
Rocks. Longines Hydroconquest in Black here
Good Video.
Top watch 😊
I miss at the brazlet some micro adjustments.
Also holes at the Clasp would be enough ❤
Wearing my green auto PRX 40mm as I do almost every day now lol. My next 3 watches I want are this: a Pepsi in jubilee and a white Speedmaster. You have great taste sir!
Got a 39mm Spirit Zulu with the green bezel. Have an aftermarket brown leather strap on it today
Longines Master Collection Green Dial with Roman Numerals a lovely entry level watch and is very thin for an automatic watch, which is what I'm currently wearing. I have the Zulu Time but in stainless steel with the blue dial another great value watch.
Today's watch is the Junghans Meister Chronoscope, 42 mm, plexy
6:00 color matched date windows are ELITE.
Love this. Looks really nice. Definitely keep the metal strap for me. Currently wearing a white faced Tissot PRX quartz. Cheap and cheerful for the day
I am wearing a BB 58 GMT with an aftermarket Jubilee bracelet. Looks awesome, also much better deal than the Longines ZT …
On the wrist today is my Breitling Avenger 43mm
Bought the Zulu 42 when it came out in 2022. But really consider to sell it and swap for the 39mm Zulu in Titanium. Just find the 21mm lug width annoying.
Really need more colourways! Too similar in looks to my OG bb58 to justify this purchase.
Seiko SLA067 diver bought from Chisholm hunter :) Great price and service as usual
I’m craving one of their 38mm master collection small second watches with the salmon face. Such an understated and pretty watch
Great looking watch. It’s a « true GMT » ?
Wearing the Mido Ocean Star Decompression Timer 1961 Limited Edition (2024 version)
Longines Zulu Time 42 mm Black/Green on my wrist today. Haha. How could I choose? This Zulu Time 39 mm Titanium and Tudor BB58 GMT? Almost the same price. And the same good looking.
I'm not knocking the BB58, but you get a ceramic bezel, T5 titanium case and bracelet, a quick release bracelet, and 7 more hours of power reservse.
I have the same watch. 39 mm would be too small for my wrist
On the wrist today is my citizen Eco drive world chronograph A-T stainless steel black dial , great travel watch and everyday..
Longines was the 1 watch company which created the GMT movement with the Zulu
I love longines. Own a couple. Cant go wrong. However dont sleep on microbrands like traska. They use newly available Japanese true GMT movements and are slim.
VERY nice watch. Just starting my watch collecting journey and don't have a Longines. This is a very sexy watch. Loving the channel. Thanks for all you do.
Love this. Own a couple of Longines already and have been eyeing the SZT for a while now. Does the bracelet have quick adjust?
Cheers mate, beautiful review. And wanted to note that Longines pronounces without S at the end)
Yeah the hudroconquest gmt is actually bad. Case back is scratchy on the wrist and the dial and bezel is cheaply. But these are totally different
Got 2 Longines watches alreagy: a diver and a chrono. Now I just need a GMT; ;)
SPB143 on the wrist atm.
How do the longines compare to the 143 ?
@@daveLin104 I like the SPB143 more than any Longines diver, it's just so good!
@YanniBG thanks for the reply I have a 143 and keep thinking of a longines diver as well 😀 I should save my money 💰
Im seriously considering getting this bad boy for the collection.
It’s absolutely stunning. So cool.
Wrist check: kuoe Old Smith 90-002. Navy.
This Longines is very impressive.
Wrist check - Seiko Pressage Sharp Edge GMT in black. If this new Longines Zulu was in the original 42mm, winning!!!
At 39mm there is a large bezel that means the actual dial diameter is quite small. I wish they would add more 42 and 43mm watches variations of the models.
People always complain about 42+ mm watches, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.
I have the green / anthracite 42 mm. Any watch smaller than 40 mm is small for my wrist
Wrist check Seiko Prospex Alpinist SPB409
That’s a killer Longines. Why do they keep doing this to me, releasing so many amazing watches. On my wrist is a Tuseno Shellback v2.
Nice looking watch. I'm wearing my Omega P.O.
Longines is favorite watch brand, they just have the most variety of killer watches out there.
At the moment wearing my Casio G Shock GW 5000U. Love it. Regards Mr. Seamaster 300 King.
Great video. Btw, the “s” is silent in Longines 😉
•Lume on the Arabic numerals
•No unnecessary 24-hour track on the dial that already on the bezel
Longines fixed everything Seiko got wrong with their SSK023/025 GMT last year. Good job 👍

I’m a 6 o’clock man myself but can appreciate both!! 🙌
Id rather just not have a date at all
Tudor BB Bronze on a Laco distressed leather strap!
@6:30 get yourself a CW and save a whole load of cash!
What is the water resistance on this??
What would u buy between the conquest and spirit Zulu?
Spirit Zulu right now, but the conquest is class just a little more dressy
I have the hydro conquest gmt in blue. Definitely worth checking out (in person), keeps excellent time and very subtle for being blue. Love mine
@@mattpiper7290I am just 19 so I prefer more budget friendly watches right now , would definitely love to have a gmt in future.😊
This VS the Hodinkee VS di Hydeoconquest GMT..my head is going to explode
It's perfect no words.💯👍
Wearing nothing weird haha, just the Zulu time Green insert 42 mm on an Artem strap ❤
The blue stainless steel is very underrated in this line.
What do you think about misalignment of the date? All the models of Spirit Zulu Time have a bigger gap on the right side of the date and i think this shouldn’t be there at this price range.
still waiting for a 39-40 mm conquest chrono because the lug to lug measurements are really like L.A. - San Diego.
That watch is a class! Titanium can be pretty much wonder in weighting and many times could improve your arm movement since you didn't feel the weight when wearing.
also I got back to wear my Citizen Green Fugu again after a month
It’s weird right?! Looks like it should weigh a tone but light as a feather
Sunday work day means it is time for my Casio DW5600.
Oh so good.
Agree with all of that, just the large male end links spoil it IMO.. They don't need quick release on a titanium bracelet model as you want to use the whole watch in this material.

Amazing Watch ❤
Hello my friend… Tissot heritage Salmon Dial with a black leather strap, it looks better
I need a Longine, but one with crown guards.
It's very close in price to the Tudor BB58 GMT. I think I will be buying that one due to a host of subjective reasons.
Long lug and thicc case.
Also the gold guilt is bad.
Make it shorter and thinner with white index plz
To use a phrase it looks like Longines are back. They use to be a top brand, then they went lower lets say, but now they are coming back even stronger than before.
Should I get this or last years tag heuer hydroconquest gmt blue and white? I’m torn between the two
"s" is silent.
ilent?
thi i right though. it‘ pelled longine
Long jeans
This VS the Tudor Coke?
Longines is a brand that make great value watches, but there’s not many out of their catalog that I like personally. This Zulu time does look super well made, but for the price, I’m always going to save a little more and get an Omega.
