A discussion on how the Warrior Cats movie will change the fandom and the way we're seen by the mainstream. Maybe our parents will finally stop nagging us about reading these "silly kids books" if we see Tigerstar's disembowelment on the big screen, eh? I also talk a little bit about what the movie itself may be like.
I know I am super late to be discussing this, but it was a lot of work to edit this. Just removing the white noise from the audio was a huge pain! Anyway, be sure to leave your own thoughts in the comments below, and tell me what you think of my analysis! I apologize for my stuttering, I am still pretty new to this.

Tigerstar is the worst in my opinion...trying to lead a dog pack to thunderclan. I kind of wish there was an EPIC battle between Firestar and Tigerstar but I guess it was for the best.
I started reading these in second grade. I don't think most kids would stand Silverstreams bloody deaths or the constant threat of I'm going to rip your throat out
Let's make it short and simple
If the movie is rated PG, we're doomed.
Also, instead of combining characters that you have mentioned in your video, JUST COMBINE THE ELDERS! They have no relevance to the story other than teaching kits stories and the rule of the code stating they should be fed first. I do understand the risks of making an ANIMATED movie that is rated over PG, but I just hope the company that is producing and writing the movie finds a way around it.
Hold your horses, it ain't going to be rated that high. I am guessing more of a PG13 movie, heck my parents wouldn't allow me to watch anything that's rated R, this movie is CGI and is being made by a small company, so by the time this movie is placed into our theaters, you should be almost 13 or even older than 13! I don't think Warriors is dark enough to even get a R rating. And on top of that, Warriors is mainly marketed to kids that around 9 and up, so it'd be better to be a PG13 movie.

I am also scared of, after the movie when you ask somebody "Hey do you know Warriors?" and they answer "Yeah, it was a movie, right?" and when you say "no the books" and they answer "What, did they wrote books about movie?" ugh every time with Harry Potter... also if they do it like Harry Potter movies it would not be that bad, I have watched another movie of book (eragon) and the movie was totally something different

I told my friends about warriors and they asked if it's a kids book so I said well if you think cats killing eachover and dying all the time is a kids book then yeah. they never asked again

If you don't mind your favorite character being sliced open and then dies a bloody death, mothers killing their kids, the heavy amount of incest and accidental pregnancy and seeing as characters either go insane or fall into depression, then yes, it's a kids' book

I honestly don't really care if Warriors is a "Kids Movie" or not, it doesn't ruin my love for the series. I would like it better if it was dark and gritty, but I wouldn't care if it was a kids thing, it's Warriors, it's a fuckin MOVIE and I WILL GO SEE IT!

well the thing with warriors is if you make it a 'kids movie' you have to take out a main aspect of the books...battle, war, and well death, lots and lots of death. Then it isn't really warriors then its just *cringes* a cat movie

Hopefully the warriors movie will end up like the Percy Jackson ones, bad enough for everyone to forget and not judge the fandom. I'm super worried about movie fans totally trashing the animation community about designs and 'who's that character, they weren't in the movie!/these the characters aren't separable they're one!" like that but I'm sure that's just a small thing. A massive fear I have is they make a change that is small and insignificant in the first book but affects the later books and without it makes them loose plot

I hope that they make a whole new arc taking place between Moth Flight's Vision and Mapleshade's Vengeance, since there's a long time gap between modern warriors and the Ancients. That way it'll be quite hard to sabotage existing canon, the fans get a new story, and it's fine for the uninitiated too.

I believe that the movie would be better to make it, while keeping it true to the series, if it was a whole new story. Keep the clans and stuff, but new cats, and stuff. We don't have any confusion between the two medias, They can make it to fit whatever audience they want.
and let's be honest, parents will find this movie bad for kid if it was marked that way or not. I mean have you seen the reception of deadpool? My god. The parents would see cats and be stupid, and take their kids to the movie even if it's rated R, and come out complaining that it was "inappropriate for children."

Hopefully it is. Then we wouldn't have people going around arguing about what color Bluestar is. There wouldn't be any wars between fan art because if these new characters are on screen, then there would be no reason for anyone to draw these new characters differently. The only thing I would be worried about is the movie getting a "manga" afterwards.
In the Russian version of Darkest hour, Scourge is drawn with a leathered collar. Welp.
I am just going to separate the movie and the books as separate parallel universes and just enjoy both, but for separate reasons....but also pray it won't be another avatar the last Airbender movie...*shiver*

Here are my predictions for the Warriors Movie:
-Tigerstar will sing “Eye of the Tiger”
-Cloudtail and Cinderpelt will merge
-Smudge will be cut
-Rusty will join ThunderClan the day he finds the warriors
-Bluestar will sing “Warriors” (you know, that one by Imagine Dragons)
-The Movie will suck and our fandom will live with that scar forever, making the fandom seem worse than it actually is
-No cats will have British accents like they should (Warriors is set in Britain)
The makers should watch things like this before making the movie

I’m hoping that if they make a Warriors Movie they still make it pretty violent like in the books. I’m just 10 but I would still enjoy it to just have some violence in it. If all of the other child Warriors fans agree with me than hopefully they make it something that all Warriors fans will enjoy to watch.
I hope they don't make it like a really happy movie, _all smiles and rainbows and them singing songs about being free in the wild _*_AND I HATE THE THOUGHT OF THE MOVIE BEING SOMETHING LIKE THAT_*

Even being on the fandom for a little while I really do understand what it feels like to have something you like ruined by a childish adaptation. I am hopeful that the Warrior Movie is a height adaptation, kind of like the adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia (a good thing I noticed in Narnia is that it can show a lot of violence on screen as long as it does not show blood).
Even so, I hope the film goes to a slightly more mature side than Guardian of G'Hanir, but even so I think it would be better not to get to extremes like Felidae (which is also an adaptation of a novel about cats).
And also (That may be a bit selfish on my part) a film, regardless of whether it's good or bad, would open up an opportunity for countries, like mine, to have more content about the Warrior series. (Being that only the first six books have been translated here).
I'm thinking it be great if they did a Warriors movie in the style of Watership Down or The Plague Dogs. These movies are good examples because they fit in the middle of the mature meter between Guardians of Ga'Hoole and Felidae. I'm thinking a PG-13 would be a good rating for the movie.

In my opinion we would have better luck with a t.v show then a movie becuz then each book would be 1 season and they wouldn't have to cut as many characters

The Warriors Movie I think would not be too good and even thinking that the movie fans would never get the movie because they don't read the books, in my belief, you have to read the books to know what's going on. I loved the Ga'hoole series... But the movie was not too good, I have good hopes to this movie but again I think it's sorta bad.
I don’t want it to be a movie because imagine how much fans it will bring just for the movie. The movie fans would be like “Warriors is amazing!” Book fan: “Yass! The books are amazing!”

And if it were considered a kids movie it wouldn’t exactly be Warriors. It’ll just be little fluffy cats prancing around the forest singing freaking Barney songs. Imagine what that would do to the books. It would take out the main purpose of Warriors. And it will bring so much argument about what Scourge’s collar would look like (It’s definitely purple though ;) )
And if I have to see Rusty (Firestar) as a kittypet running out of his house and into the forest singing “IM FREE FROM MY CAAAAAAGE!!!! INTO THE WILD I GO!! WHO KNOWS WHAT MY DESTINY HOLDSSSSS!!!” Then I will be pissed. This is why we don’t need a movie.

It should be rated pg 13, it shouldnt be a movie but I would love a series each book an episode/movie like harry potter
My only reason I dont want one is because im scared they are going to add a bunch of random things or take away so many important scenes (like harry potter). Also I'd be curious to see who would voice or animate it. Hunters if you read thi (most likely not) I would gladly voice any charector ;). Also scourge's collar was *NEVER* red! Idk where people got that from! The only two times it's color was shown is 1. on the cover of the manga (it was *purple* )! And in the ultimate guide (it was *orange* ). It was never mentioned as *red* .

It would be amazing to get a Warriors movie, especially that *rumour has it* the director of the Harry Potter series will be the director too, so I have high expectations. It would be uncanny for characters to be merged, especially cats like Darkstripe and Longtail or even... I don't know but just don't do that.
Harry Potter found many kids to be actors, so why can't they do that for Warriors?
If not, it'll never happen to me, but I guarantee that many fans would *_love_* to audition for certain cats they adore.

I love how i moved backwards im an adult who as a teen read twilight saga and now am starting the warrior cat books
The thing about Warriors is that while there are lighthearted moments in the original series and there are themes of friendship and faith, it is a very dark narrative. There is so much death in almost every book. If I had it my way I would want the film to be akin to the 'Watership Down' adaption--but movies like that just don't get made anymore.

How about making it more like an anime? It could still stay true to the plot, and since most anime isn't the best for children, it could easily be marketed for teens and adults
I get that not everyone likes anime, but not everyone likes movies, and sure, it still faces some flaws of movies, many anime are adapted from manga, like movies to books, there is always something someone won't like, for example voice acting of certain characters, different art styles etc. etc. So what im saying is if you were going to animate the warriors books, do it in episodes, so there will be more focus on the plot instead of cutting so much short

Maybe it’s possible that they’ll make movies for the first arc, then hand it off to another company for the second arc, but give them a list of important things to review while making the movies that make them seem similar to the first company’s. Then they could do this with Power of Three and then Omen of the Stars. Out of all the series, those two get the most attention (so far as I’ve seen) on RUclips, with many PMVs, AMVs, and MAPs being based off the characters within PoT and OotS.
I just realized I didn’t even finish that comment.
So anyways, this would mean fans would likely want them to get at least through Omen of the Stars before they stopped making movies.

Thet should ask the fans about the moive & characters that'll be in it. To take out a fan favorite character like Yellowfang or Cinderpelt would not settle well with the fans. Asking Warriors animators on RUclips would be good for seeing character designs & other things. That's all i gotta say ;)

The thing about the Owls of Ga'Hoole, I never read the books, because at the time I was kinda little and only ever read the Magic Tree House books and Harry Potter, and I'm sure our school library never had it because it's a small community and the school has a lot of limitations on budgeting and such. But some family members of ours sometimes record a million shows from their TV and send us the discs to keep our little minds occupied.
One day they sent us a box full of discs and I pulled out one that had a pretty owl on the cover. I've always loved owls, so I put it in. I loved it! I didn't know it was originally a book series, but the movie on it's own was actually pretty good. I loved watching it over and over, running around the room pretending to be an owl xD
If the world hasn't learned from what I've heard be called a mistake, and if they don't get the movie to be accurate with the books, all I can hope for is the movie can be good on it's own and not end up like the Harry Potter movie, which made zero sense without background knowledge.
(I've always hated the movie adaptations, but that's just my opinion.)
If I were in charge of the Warriors movie, I would try to keep it strict to the books and only change what HAS to be changed. For example, useless characters, such as kit that were born just to die a few days later.
And not as how it happened with Squirrelflight's first real litter, where it emotionally scarred her and made her more protective of her children that survived the second litter, but the ones that died and everyone forgets about. Or the cats that only existed, with no mate or kits or purpose in the story at all.

I say they get Sagutoyas, Owlspark, and other animators to all animate it. Not like a map, but like all of em just together in one animation style. Then it would be much better!

I’m honestly very nervous about this film. I already don’t like movie adaptions from books. But I think the main thing that scares me about this film is it obtaining a large fanbase. That may sound like a good thing but if they’re going to combine Cinderpelt and Cloudtail, I don’t want new fans being confused by two characters who were combined in the movie. I’ll trample the writers if they make it a kids movie
Back in the day Guardians of Gahoole was considered a kids movie with battle scenes and lots of violence soooo that should just make it similar
7:59 I can't relate to that, my mom's cool with me reading Warriors(mind you, she doesn't know the half of what's actually happening in the books). I read other kinds of books too, so she doesn't really care. All she really knows about Warriors is that they are about clans of cats.

I am a very big fan of both warrior and the Guardians movie but I have to say I haven't read the book to guardians. However, if there are others like me who expect something as 'bone headed' as u put it, then we might be pleasantly surprised. I can see where your coming from though and I share your concerns, however, guess who's involved in the making of this movie?
The people who made Harry Potter movies and they tried their best to make the movies almost exactly like the books, so I don't think we have that much to worry about if they are involved. Anyway, great video, I hope you have a nice day and get more Subscribers soon=^*^=😸

To be fair I’ve only read the first couple books and read them long after the movie came out (which I was very young when it did. It and Watership Down were 2 of my favourite childhood movies over like every single Disney movie ever. Apart from maybe The Lion King or Bambi. Yeah. I was a pretty dark kid lol) so that’s from unbiased perspective. I’d love to read the rest though

You wanna know a horrible movie adaptation? Percy Jackson Movies. That is the sound of disappointment. and the fandom dying. The entire plot was wrecked. The biggest part was Kronos manipulating Ares and tricking Percy and his friends, and that was wrecked! In the movie he didn't even fight Ares and that was a huge accomplishment! Who else shouted at least 10 times while watching this movie?
I wanted to but we were forced to watch it in class and I wanted to rip my own eyeballs out of my head.

I know it's kinda late to the party, but my biggest worry is it would turn out like the Series of Unfortunate Events movie. The books were dark and intriguing, and the movie just kind of turned everything into a joke. It felt like it didn't take any of the story seriously (Even as a kid I felt that way; I read the books and loved them, and that movie was the first of a few disappointing movie adaptations)
The company seems to be dedicated to making the movie for the fans. They seem to be doing a good job.
