Technically, he doesn't attack Nightcloud, he just snarls at her... In fact, the opposite happens. Read the scene again, it's Nightcloud who claws Crowfeather...
@@kiripima3284 hello there,my name is deathstar but call me deathstroke or wilson leader of graveclan, you said you hate nightcloud then i will kill her.
Mhm, yeah... kids book. A kids book with pedophiles, violent births, abusive family and mates that never got called out, a cat getting ripped open like a purse being unzipped, death, murder, poisoning, etc etc
Haha.. I don't want to be in a _serious relationship,_ friends are way better. Friends are people who you can get drunk with, who you can joke around with and have fun with. Having a relationship is liiiike.. *Is he/she cheating on me?* *Did they spend too much money on that thing?* *I want to have the truck this time!* Too many arguements. I am too unserious for my own good so having a boyfriend or a girlfriend is not an option.
I honestly don't think Crowfeather is to blame for all of this; I understand what it feels like to lose a loved one, and I too was trapped in my own grief. Crowfeather isn't to blame for Feathertail's death, nor is he to blame for his own grief. He couldn't help it, and Leafpool's rejection only made him feel worse; two she-cats that he loved, gone. Since Leafpool reminded him of Feathertail, this made it even harder for him. When Nightcloud became his mate, she was too forceful and like you said, this only pushed Crowfeather away. Nightcloud is the cat that made Crowfeather's life an even bigger mess; she grew so jealous that (again, like you said) she convinced Breezepelt that his father hated him. Nightcloud made Breezepelt a Crowfeather-hating shell of a warrior, with basically no other emotion except hatred. When Crowfeather told him he never hated him, he knew that his son was too full of hate to ever forgive him and knew that if he kept going with his explanation, Breezepelt would get defensive and hate him even more. Crowfeather was rejected over and over; first with Feathertail's death, then with Leafpools actual rejection, then with Nightcloud's jealousy and lack of understanding, and finally with a hateful son who would never forgive him. I honestly like Crowfeather, and pity him for what's happened to him.
Squirrelflight. You where pretty arrogant and immature in your youth. But you’ve grown out of it and have become a better cat! You’re awsome Squirrelflight! I mean really awesome!
Can I make a point about Nightcloud? She act horribly possessive with Crowfeather and clearly reproch him that he never really love her and that he prefer Leafpool. But she herself never loved him and just wanted to have kits! She's such an hypocrite! It probably made things even harder for him. I mean, he loved Feathertail, she died, he tried to retrieve some of Feathertail in Leafpool, she rejected him, then he mated a cat who does not love him but blame him for not loving her. She's probably one of the cat I hate the most in the serie.
I don't hate her or like either But honesty nightcloud is not the innocent poor cat the fandom makes She have also her problems and people do not reconize it
@@firestar3963 kind of overprotecting her son and alienating his father on the rare occasions where crowfeather showed interest I understand where her insecurities come from and how it reflects on the brezzepelt and how her relationship with crowfeather left her disappointed Even if you strive to raise your children and give them love when you feel your partner is missing doesn't mean you should demonize your partner depednig on the situation Remember that when raising a child your fears and insecurities reflect in him even if mistakes are made in the long run can end up impairing character formation the way crowfeather and nightcloud related to brezzepelt is an example of how BOTH parties contributed but fandom treats her like a saint sometimes just blaming it on crowfeather (yes I know he was a negligent father) and ignoring the part that nightcloud has
Crowfeather really is his own worst enemy. Every choice he has made, the consequences where of his own doing. He's miserable and loveless and deliberately drove a wedge between his WindClan AND ThunderClan family, ruining one more than life and you just can't excuse that. You can have pity for him, but you can't excuse it. As Rock said, Crowfeather lost any hope of happiness letting Leafpool go. Crowfeather doesn't WANT to be happy. He doesn't want to grow or change but what can you do? Crowfeather's whole character arc is literally something out of a Shakespearean tragedy.
RomanceGirl6666 you see, this is my problem with people who vehemently hate crowfeather. yes he's not a great dude but that's. the. point. his character is so interesting but people just hate him because he's an "aBUsEr!!!"
Yeah, but the problem is, crowfeather didn’t break up with leafpool, leaool broke up with him. But whenever she’s around him, she acts like her life has been miserable without him, an attempt to get him back. But crowfeather doesn’t want to go back. He doesn’t want to go back to the cat who made his life hell. Leafpool didn’t get any true punishment. She just had to become a warrior. After the third series ended, basically everyone forgot about her. She just got some bad looks once in a while. Crowfeather? He was shamed by his clan, his leader, his mate, his kit, he became a stranger in his own clan.
RomanceGirl6666 This is true of him pre-Crowfeather’s Trial, but I think the book gave him development to finally move past that and make him a genuinely likable character.
If Feathertail lived Fanfic: "Not yet..." Feathertail heard her mother's gentle murmur in her ear. Her chest ached as she breathed heavily. She couldn't move, but she could feel the still, lifelessness of the Sharptooth beside her. "I did it,' She rasped quietly. "You're alive!" Crowpaw gasped, his breathing coming out as short bursts. "I can't believe it!" He nudged her side encouragingly, his cheer faltering as she lay still. "I can't feel my legs," Feathertail whispered quietly. Crowpaw took a pace back, shocked. "No," He muttered quietly. "No! You can walk, you just need...." He began hyperventilating, looking from one cat to another. "Squirrelpaw! You fixed Tawnypelt's shoulder, help Feathertail!" Squirrelpaw dipped her head with sorrow, looking away from him. Crowpaw flexed his claws, seething with combating emotions of rage and hopelessness. "Get up!" He shoved Feathertail violently, cringing regretfully as a yelp of pain came from her. "You're all I have left!" His voice raised to a desperate yowl. "That's not true!" Crowpaw gaped as Feathertail snapped at him. His eyes swelled, and he, overtaken by feelings of betrayal, kicked a mound of dirt at Feathertail before darting out of the cave. I'll continue this on fanfiction.net, I'll send a link for chapter one soon if anyone's interested :3
Crowfeather never hurt Nightcloud. In that scene, she grabbed his back leg and scratched it, and he turned around, lashing out at her but never actually hitting her.
I've seen quite a few people who throw hard hate onto Crowfeather. But everytime I try telling them Crowfeather's pitiful side, they just fire back with slightly false statement. Thank you for this review. Also, I'll make sure to make that fanfiction.
bonnie bon of course he never went through the same stuff as Crowfeather but like it was said in the Video. That hole was dug by no one but Crowfeather
Ok folks... Nightcloud is NOT a victim in her relationship with Crowfeather. The whole clan knew about his relationship with Leafpool once they decided to run away. She knew full well that Crowfeather was in love with someone else when they became mates, and she was a lot older than Crowfeather. She full well knew what she was getting into
Exactly. Not only that, but I see people hate Crowfeather for being abusive to Nightcloud, but yet they sympathize with Nightcloud? Nightcloud was more abusive to Crowfeather than Crowfeather was to Nightcloud. Sure Crowfeather did ignore her and they had that loveless marriage thing, what Nightcloud did was worse. Not only did Nightcloud also use Crowfeather, but she also kept Breezepelt away from Crowfeather, taught Breezepelt to hate Crowfeather, and physically dragged Crowfeather away from Leafpool (Basically the whole “No girl touches my man!” thing) (Basically the same points in the video). Sure Crowfeather also attacked Nightcloud afterwards, but it was probably due to an involuntary response. Heck I’ll even say this, Nightcloud was a worse parent than Crowfeather. Crowfeather was an okay father, he spent less time with Breezepelt than most fathers with their sons, but that doesn’t make him a bad father, as fathers usually don’t spend a lot of time with their kits. You never saw Sandstorm mourn Redtail (His apprentice Dustpelt was more upset about it), you never saw Graystripe mourn Patchpelt, nor Lionheart’s kits mourn his death. Breezepelt just overreacted. Nightcloud was a bad mother (As from the points in the video). It’s upsetting though, because Nightcloud could’ve been an interesting character.
Maggie Motl Fathers aren’t really close to their kits in this series, so that would make Crowfeather an okay father. I also don’t see why Crowfeather complimenting Lionblaze was only caring about him, since he only wanted to act nice to strangers.
no. how is crowfeather a worst father than the other fathers we know about? he was just being nice to cats he didn't know. wouldn't you say something nice to people you are not close to? especially if they were kids? of course you wouldn't say anything to your own family cuz you already know them, and they know you. so there no need to be nice to them about something you already seen a lot of times. if you want to talk about bad fathers, how about bluestar father? or tallstar? they barely was in their kids lives. crowfeather at least tried to parent like how he saved breezepelt from falling off a cliff when he tried to show off. or scold him for going after the mice in the barn. yes he turn his back on him after seeing how he wouldn't even thank purdy for saving them. even going so far to say we never needed his help,we got it. despite he was the one who nearly lost his tail to the dogs. breezepelt was so ungrateful and stuck up that no words could been said to force him to thank purdy. that is why crowfeather turn his back on his ungrateful son. it the only action to show how much he was disappointed in him.
11:59 Who else thought of the moment in "A Dogs Purpose", when the son pushed his drunken father away from his mother? Also the boy is a lit Crowfeather, due to not moving on after he broke things off with his girlfriend.
I look at it as,the reason why Crowfeather was so distant from Breezepelt and Nightcloud, was because he didn't want to be hurt again.Due to Feathertail's death,Leafpool leaving him and being looked down upon from his clan,it could make him scared to trust someone again, afraid they're gonna slip away and him being left in the dark again. Also about ignoreing Breezepelt,if something happened to him he would lack connection to feel strong emotions towards it,of course he'd still be sad but not sad enough to feel another strong gash and be pushed towards a clift again, and want to jump off. But,Breezepelt decided to hate Crowfeather,it was his choice in the end.It also wasn't his fault either because he never was told what Crowfeathet went through, and looked at it as he didn't care or even liked him and Nightcloud.
Chaoed If Crowfeather was scared of that, taking on a mate and as naturally expected, becoming a father, hardly makes any sense? He was *never* kind to Breezepelt, so I would hardly blame his bad parenting on his kiddo, and why he turned out the way he did. (Not that I'm trying to defend or excuse his actions because of that. Nope, those are still bad af.)
It is a mystery. What you say is true, but in order to show his loyalty to his clan he had to take a mate(which makes a bit of sense, but also not at the same time)and when he got with Nightcloud it automatically forced him to have kits.It was his choice when he picked Nightcloud, but his clan pressured him into it. Crowfeather and Nightcloud both made up Breezepelt's character but mostly it's Breezepelt to chose in the end,to hate Crowfeather. Crowfeather wasn't really nice to Breezepelt but I believe he would try make the effort, and show him in little ways that he cared.
Chaoed I will never see how reproducing is, or would ever be, considered proof of, or be an act of loyalty, that a cat is loyal to their clan. 😔 Bur how could acting as though your child is a constant annoyance show even a tiny semblance of care to them though? Because it's a good way to drive someone away from you.
Um. Crowfeather hissed at nightcloud. Not attack. And nightcloud sank her claws into his shoulder. And dragged him away. And he broke free and hissed at her getting ready to attack. Not attacking. And then breezepelt steps in.
@@nightzart At best, it's defending himself. In human equivalent, that would be raising your voice at someone because he dragged you in a way that was hurting you. He was absolutely right to get angry at her.
I never really thought about Crowfeather in this way, I mean, I could never bring myself to hate him, but after watching this video I actually like him?
Crowfeather tried not to love Breezepelt because 'every cat he loved, he lost'. He didn't want to lose Breezepelt, so he didn't give him much attention. But this is NO excuse for Breezepelt to try to kill Jayfeather, Poppyfrost and Lionblaze, and to look at Hollyleaf's dead body and say 'she deserved to die!' Basically, Breezepelt doesn't deserve all the love he gets from the fandom, and Crowfeather certainly doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. But this is just my opinion, so please don't be offended if you like Breezepelt. Have a nice day! 🤗🤗. Edit: Oh yeah. And it was Nightcloud who clawed Crowfeather, not the other way around!
Actually, Crowfeather didn’t neglect Breezepelt. In Crowfeather’s Trial, we learn that Crowfeather spent several sleepless nights curled around Breezekit when he had greencough. Eventually, he acted more harshly, but Crowfeather was never neglectful. And all of his arguments with Breezepelt and Nightcloud were about his relationship with Leafpool.
(im late to the party....shite.)Ironically, there is a Super Edition called "CrowFeathers Trial" that is going to be released on September 4th, 2018 of next year. A huge part of me wishes that it goes into detail of NightCloud and CrowFeathers relationship (because thats a relationship I actually WANT to know about) and a bit into CrowFeathers life as a Grandfather to BreezePelts kits. I know the Erins dont build on those kinds of relationships in Warriors (which is complete bullshit, tbh) but I really hope he and NightCloud are good, functional grandparents together and I really want to see him treat her a bit better in this book. Even if he doesnt love her, at the very least, she is the mother of his child AND a Clanmate - the very least he can do is respect her as a Clanmate, if anything.
While that would be nice to see, I don't think that I would really expect "good" grandparenting from the guy who wasn't even great at parenting himself, haha.. I do completely agree with your thoughts (and hopes) about both himself and Nightcloud though. I admit it kind of grates my nerves something awfulhow some fans try to use the reasoning that Crow never got over Feathertail and / or Leafpool, as an excuse for how he has treated Nightcloud. (I'm not at all saying she has no fault in either of their relationship problems.) I don't feel like her expecting Crow to be a father to Breezepelt was unreasonable. And how she's supposingly only used Crow, even though we see her act legitimately affection to him, at least once in the books? I also just love seeing the books that take place in the different clans so, so very much.
Leafpool, Crowfeather and Nightcloud all lost something important in their lifes Leafpool lost his mate Crow, so she can be medicine cat. But then she lost that too when her own daughter tell everyone about her secret Crowfeather lost his two loves, one by death and the other by rejection, and at the same time he lost the credibility of his own clan. He seems pushed to take a mate he doesn't even love, with a son he ignores, just to show his loyalty. And Nightcloud, who is mates with a cat that doesn't love her, knowing that he loves another she-cat and that she (Nightcloud) and their son will never be enough for Crowfeather. :(
I think Crowfeather truly loved Leafpool. We all have preferences when it comes to significant others, so I guess Crowfeather just likes quiet, kind, gentle she-cats!
Personally, I believe Mapleshade is one of the top ones, if not the on the top. Though my opinion is slightly biased, Mapleshade had a very sad backstory. Despite her hard and villainous outwards appearance, she still had her Clan stripped from her at the cost of love, which of whom would then leave her 3 chapters later. Not to mention she had to witness her kits pulled away from her, right in front of her face.
Sakura Seeds Her kits deaths? Not really no. Sure, she shouldn't have gotten into the relationship in the first place, but her kits didn't have to be exiled with her, at a dangerous time.
11:52 remember that night cloud dragged him away when he felt slight pain for his ex, the sudden drag made his cat instinct to attack, this isn't mainly crowfeathers fault. Nightcloud consciously dragged him away with her nails. Nightcloud is more the one to blame. I didn't mean to spread hate, I love your videos. I just thought differently.
I really hope this Crowfeather SE rips him a new one instead of painting him as some romantic tragedy or giving him some half baked book full of bad excuses. He's had a lot of bad things happen to him, but although it's fine to grieve, it's not fine to wallow that anger and grief and take it out on other people. I sort of feel sorry that Breezepelt turned out the way he did because of the unhealthy family that he was born into, but at the same time, he had to realize that at some point, he's still responsible for his own choices. Daddy issues can only excuse so much. Or at least, that's what he *should've* learned. Seeing the both of them learn these things and consign to the consequences of their actions would make for a good SE. And that's just between those two, there's still the Crow/Night thing to deal with. Oh boy...
Crowfeather... Tries to be a good father and I wish that he had just left WindClan to be with Leafpool, who didn't TELL him that she was expecting his kits. But he didn't. Like Leafpool, he chose his Clan instead of his heart and at first, I raged, vowing to hate Crowfeather and Leafpool for the rest of my life due to his "angst " His life is heartbreak after heartbreak, from an apprentice to now... He loved Feathertail and I shipped them so hard... Until she died and I loved that Crowfeather chose to name himself after her... I cried along with him. Sure, he has his faults, but Crowfeather really tries to be the best cat he can be. Breezepelt doesn't respect him, but that's not bad parenting. That is Breezepelt's CHOICE. Bottom line, Crowfeather is best cat ((besides Graystripe)) and really deserves to be deputy and hey, maybe even Crowstar. 💖 But hey, Everyone has their faults and Crowfeather seriously needs to get his life straight if he's going to lead WindClan someday... Break things off with Nightcloud for instance...
nightcloud shouldn't have said that crowfeather is terrible anyway, crowfeather wasnt a good father, but it still was breezepelt,(and slightly nightcloud's) choice to hate him.
Nightcloud turns out to be the more abusing in crowfeather relationship, yes he may have used her to prove loyalty, but nightcloud just wanted him for a kit or kits, and when crowfeather apparently abused nightcloud, he didnt’ here how it went, breezpelt lashed out at leafpool and crowfeather went to stop his son, nightcloud then jelly, she dug her claws into crows shoulders and dragged him away and then he got out of her grasped and hissed, out of the two nightcloud is way more abusive, so I will proudly say crowfeather is one of my favorite caricature Edit : I got this from a video where they talked about defending crowfeather I think made by memento
Crowfeather never attacked Nightcloud Nightcloud however digged her claws into him and pulled him away from leafpool rather aggressively. Crowfeathers response was to turn in DEFENSE and snarl. C
The imaginative StarClan scene at the end... Me: Silently cursing at Feathertail for ruining Crowfeather's last chance at happiness. Also me: Starts crying realizing how my life could end up like Crowfeather's if I continue like this.
To be fair, it said "Crowfeather turned on her, hissing," so it's up to interpretation to what he did. If it's true that he attacked her, then it was self-defense since Nightcloud was *literally sinking her claws into his pelt,* causing harm as she dragged him away forcefully. Breezepelt's reaction gave off the impression that Crow was in the wrong for getting out of his mate's grip. That's like *shaming someone for defending himself.* Both Crow and Night are horrible for each other, regardless of whether they are mates or not.
Can I just say something? Crowfeather has suffered a lot, but is not evil like some are, like Mapleshade. In my opinion, she is the saddest warrior cat because she went INSANE, and killed 3 cats while alive, and Crookedstar's whole family later on. THAT'S sad.
read crowfeather's trial. he changes a lot and he starts to realize his mistakes. he spends more time with breezepelt and breezepelt forgives him. he sees that nightcloud loves him and he starts to love her and breezepelt. u know what just read it its good. he's like a completely different cat
6:56 I don’t think that would happen. Remember when he let Leafpool choose her own path and didn’t force her to stay with him? I think it would be the same. He loved her too much to do that to her
Actually to be honest, I don't think Nightcloud is the only cat in WindClan whose doesn't really like him. If any of you recall in Dawn when they come back to there clans, when Crowfeather greets his clanmates, it's noticed by Squirrelflight that his clanmates didn't show any sort of warm and love that Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw would get when they come home. I believe this is why he comes off as cold and distant because other than his mother Ashfoot and his father Deadfoot, his clan might not be as close to him, thus he doesn't really have a good support group to help him move on. And I'm sure leaving for awhile didn't help improve his relationship with his clan, which is most likely why he didn't want to go on the journey in the first place.
Does anyone noticed that Crowfeather had a eye color change( Amber to Blue) ??? But, aside that I loved this video because he was my favorite character and this shows why I love Crowfeather.
I mostly hate Crowfeather because he rejects his Windclan MATE & SON. Not to mention HURTING his mate and almost his son. I can see how Nightcloud hated Leafpool considering she loved Crowfeather so much and he turned her down faster than she could remember. Nightcloud was definitely the most loving 'mate' he ever had. Which made me dislike him even more for rejecting the she cat that had loved him the most out of Feathertail and Leafpool.
Avery's World nightcloud only took him to have kits. Something tells me she doesn’t love him either but wanted kits and he was the only one without a mate and who needed one so badly.
(This is from a comment above if you haven't read it yet. I didn't write this but another person did.) I look at it as,the reason why Crowfeather was so distant from Breezepelt and Nightcloud, was because he didn't want to be hurt again.Due to Feathertail's death,Leafpool leaving him and being looked down upon from his clan,it could make him scared to trust someone again, afraid they're gonna slip away and him being left in the dark again. Also about ignoreing Breezepelt,if something happened to him he would lack connection to feel strong emotions towards it,of course he'd still be sad but not sad enough to feel another strong gash and be pushed towards a clift again, and want to jump off. Time to debunk a bit of this: Crowfeather NEVER physically hurt Nightcloud or Breezepelt (at least to my memory, so correct me if I’m wrong). In fact, it is the other way around for Nightcloud. Nightcloud, in fact, harmed Crowfeather in Night Whispers by digging her claws into his pelt and forcibly dragging him away from Leafpool and Lionblaze BECAUSE Crowfeather didn’t stop an argument between Lionblaze and Breezepelt. Not because he was showing affection for Lionblaze or Leafpool, but BECAUSE he didn’t try to stop a quarrel between the two. And Nightcloud was overly possessive. She didn’t even LET Crowfeather glance at Leafpool, which the example above also shows. She attacked him, though never even loved him. It was shown that Nightcloud ONLY got in a relationship with Crowfeather because no other tom would have kits with her, and she feared that she would never have her own kits, while Crowfeather only got in a relationship with Nightcloud to prove his loyalty. Their relationship was broken from the start.
The moment you realize that what she says about crowpaws and feathertails relationship is exactly how you acted and feel when the person you loved the most left you. She legitimately perfectly described how and what I felt when “he” left my life and even though we’re still friends I don’t feel any emotions anymore because of it. I only have very slight emotions here and then but other than that I feel completely empty and alone.
Great character analysis! I very much agree with his story being the saddest. Are you looking forward to his super edition? Do you think they will try to redeem him?
I think that NightCloud made CrowFeathers life worse because he loves two different cats FeatherTail and LeafPool but NightCloud still had known this all and had been through enough to figure it out that CrowFeather never actually liked her and that she just wanted at the attention to herself this proves that CrowFeather might have been a more open and not so depressed cat if NightCloud didn't put herself first and thought about others.
I think that Stormfur has a worse life than Crowfeather. Pls! Hear me out! Because: he lost his mother at birth, he grew up with his sister in a different clan than his father, he lost his sister on the jurney, he loved Brook but had to leave, when he got back to the clans he realized his father was missing, he stayed in the mountains on the great journey of the clans and messed up in the tribe and got kicked out with brook, tried Riverclan, messed up there as well, tried Thunderclan, worked for a while, then there was a problem in the tribe again, goes back and then had to fight a huge battle against the rogues in the mountains and lived with the tribe again but was misstrusted for AGES!!!! So yeah... I think Stormfur's life is worse.
You forgot that his first mentor, Stonefur, is ordered to kill him and his sister and when Stonefur refused Stormfur had to watch his mentor get murdered in from of him for the sake of protecting him and his sister. I'd like to think that his got his name (Storm'fur') after his mentor
I feel bad for nightcloud and the reason why she’s on edge is because of what happened between crowfeather and leafpool and not wanting to be the fool infront of the clan if they ever wander off again. She does have flaws and is very insecure about her entire life and tries to take control of it.
I think that another warrior with a very sad life was Clear Sky. Both his mates died and one was carrying his unborn kits! At least he had a happy ending
Bluestar : she stayed in her den crying and eating ice cream and ignoring everyone without letting someone take care of her and forgetting who everyone is.. Then becoming some hecking mood as she becomes happy then some depressed freak and ignores StarClan from destroying her clan and all lol
I'm surprised no one has responded to this! I was wondering the same thing and found it. In my copy it's on page 180 (last page before chapter 14 begins).
I actually felt bad for Crowfeather. Crowfeather was not a likable cat personality-wise within his clan, so other cats would not really bother with him. When he meets, Feathertail, she seems to be the only cat that accepts Crowfeather for how he is, and likes him greatly, besides his flaws. This makes Crowfeather love her deeply, and, when Feathertail eventually dies, he becomes distraught. When he meets Leafpool, then Nightcloud, he is so desperate for any cat to like him that he clings to any relationship that he can make, but he finds these relationships not as fulfilling. By the time he meets Nightcloud, I think he's just tired of putting in the effort, and he let go of all his happiness. I didn't like Crowfeather at first when I first read the Warriors series, but then I looked into his personality a little more when I re-read the books, and I have more respect for him as a character. He's just misunderstood, jaded, and simply just wants to be accepted as an individual. I don't know why people hate him so much, he's been through a lot of crap.
I just realized that Ravenpaw and Crowfeather are like the same! Crows and Ravens are very similar, both Crowfeather and Ravenpaw had mean mentors, and they’re both dark colored toms.
I had a friend who was romantically interested in me and I wasn't ready yet. I'd just broken up with my ex and our breakup was pretty bad. I didn't know if I was ready for another relationship. But this friend after telling me how they felt was always touching me in a romantic sense. Touching my knee or shoulder, hugging me alot and when they hugged me they wouldn't let go. All of this physical affection, when I wasn't ready for it only served to drive me away. In the end we decided to take some time apart from each other.
Bluestar's "brief episode" lasted until 3 minutes before she died. She didn't get over shit and she allowed it to not only destroy herself, but all of her clanmates. And by the way, she didn't abandon two of (and murder one of) her kits so that a terrifying psycho wouldn't take over the clan. Thistleclaw was never that bad. She just wanted to be leader, and she villianized Thistleclaw to justify her horrific act of infantacide. And yes, she murdered Mosskit. Dragging a baby out into a blizzard unnecessarily is child endangerment, and if the child dies from this, it is manslaughter.
That was "underexaggeration", if that's a word. Of course Bluestar's episode cost a lot of damage, but before then, she still managed to be a decisive leader despite her losses. As for the Thistleclaw ordeal, I won't defend her decision to endanger her kits, but, no offense, I think people sometimes forget that Thistleclaw sometimes showed himself to be very unstable and violent. Not only does he order an attack on a defenseless kit, but he almost murders a single intruder that posed no significant threat, an act that would have spit in the face of the Warrior Code. Afterwards, he goes on a paranoid rant and literally foams at the mouth. If that isn't someone that's off their rocker, than I don't know what is.
Quiet Rage He was impulsive and aggressive, yes, but remember that Bluestar's prophecy is told though her perspective and she had it out for him since the beginning. She hated him when they were kits for no reason, and that hatred never subsided at any point. She is also the reason for a lot of his instability considering she was in part the reason Snowfur died, and she stopped allowing him to see his son, the only thing he had left to love. She also never once tried talking to Sunstar about Thistleclaw's behavior, in order to deter him from making Thistleclaw deputy. There were other cats in the clan who he could have made deputy instead, and he greatly respected Bluefur and her opinion. Had she told him that she felt Thistleclaw was deranged and too violent to become leader, he probably would have listened. The thing is, she wanted to be leader. She wanted it more than she cared about her babies. She could have talked Sunstar into making Rosetail or White-eye deputy, but she wanted the title for herself, and she was willing to put the life of her kits on the line for that. I would like to thank you for replying, though. I love your videos and 10/10 Crowfeather analysis, you did a fantastic job picking apart his character
IceKat9494 thistleclaw was that bad. He was training in the dark forest. He call his own son weak and takes after his mother. Yes blue star hated him which is understandable cuz she felt she was losing her sister but don’t you dare blame her for her death. Snowfur could have said no and it was ShadowClan fault for being there. She lost her mother and sister. After seeing how thistleclaw was mentoring tigerpaw, I would have kept my nephew from him too. He was very violent and manipulative. As seen in spottedleaf heart. As for snowfur loving him, don’t tell me you never had friends being with awful guys and never say anything cuz your friend will think it you being jealous. That is how I see it
Okay lemme just debunk stuff in defense of Thistleclaw, even though I'm months late. "He was training in the dark forest." So was Ivypool, Lionblaze, Brambleclaw, Crookedjaw, the list goes on. Not enough to condemn him. "As for snowfur loving him, don’t tell me you never had friends being with awful guys and never say anything cuz your friend will think it you being jealous." But what did he do while she was still alive? "He call his own son weak and takes after his mother." Can you tell me verbatim what he said? I hate the mentality that Bluefur's loss was worse than Thistleclaw's because they both lost Snowfur who they loved in different ways, people are different and loss hits some more than others as Crowfeather proved. I don't like Bluestar so I can't help but be biased, but to me it felt more like she had an eye for an eye situation, she lost her mother so she took his son from him even though Thistleclaw didn't kill her mother. People give her too much credit, considering there were many things she did wrong, but I will admit people also condemn her too much because of the "Thistleclaw vs Bluefur" thing, in the first few books she was a very noble and wise leader and people seem to forget that she was once likeable. I don't like her character, but I don't wanna burn her to the stake. "He was very violent and manipulative, as seen in spottedleaf heart." *Spottedleaf's heart never happened*
Star Pit I never saw it as forced. Leafpool never felt love before. She had a crush on him without even knowing what it was, hence that small vision of her walking beside crowfeather when they reach the lake. Crowfeather himself hated himself for how he felt as he knew he was falling for her, which is why he was so mean to her. He was trying to force her to hate him and stay away from him. We can’t control our feelings no matter how much we try.
what about graystripe/stormfur! mainly stormfur... Stormfur and feathertail get threatened to get killed as apprentices stormfurs sister dies his father gets kidnapped by twolegs and he never saw his mother (except for starclan) ok bai
Nah, Crowfeather legitimately loved Leafpool, this wasnt available back then but in Squirrelflights Hope, crowfeather is seen on multiple occasions to be worried or looking at Leafpool. And in A Light in the Mist, when //SPOILERS AHEAD// The starclan cats come to pick up the cats in the dark forest, crowfeather is seen pressing himself against leafpool and twirling their tails together. // SPOILER OVER// Leafpool and Crowfeather never lost feelings for eachother and i dearly hope that if Crowfeather becomes Crowstar, Leafpool and Feathertail will give him a life each. Im a huge fan of Crowpool and ivwanted them to stay together. Thanks for coming to my ted talk

If Feathertail lived Fanfic:
"Not yet..." Feathertail heard her mother's gentle murmur in her ear.

••• Several people are typing...
Ok folks... Nightcloud is NOT a victim in her relationship with Crowfeather. The whole clan knew about his relationship with Leafpool once they decided to run away. She knew full well that Crowfeather was in love with someone else when they became mates, and she was a lot older than Crowfeather. She full well knew what she was getting into
Emily Ellsworth, I totally 100% agree with you. Nobody ever wants to believe that Nightcloud knew what she was doing...
You Have Found Ebony thank you for pointing this out! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills over all the nightcloud lovers.

Nightcloud didn't just trick Breezepelt into hating Crowfeather-- she tricked the entire fandom, too.
Underrated comment.
Indeed
True! Nightcloud is now in my least favorite list
Dustpelt probably has the saddest. Think about his story. For real.... He was pretty messed up at the end.
Chaoed
If Crowfeather was scared of that, taking on a mate and as naturally expected, becoming a father, hardly makes any sense?
Chaoed
I will never see how reproducing is, or would ever be, considered proof of, or be an act of loyalty, that a cat is loyal to their clan. 😔

Crowfeather👏🏻Didn’t👏🏻Neglect👏🏻Breezepelt👏🏻Or👏🏻Mistreat👏🏻His👏🏻Mate👏🏻Or👏🏻Son👏🏻
Even though Crowfeather didn't even attack Nightcloud.
Ronald Rump hnm
aye?
Ronald Rump ok I still want to know when did breezepelt come back did I just miss something
Cooper Bostick What do you mean? BreezePelt has always been in the Warriors series. He hasnt died yet.
Leafpool, Crowfeather and Nightcloud all lost something important in their lifes
Leafpool lost his mate Crow, so she can be medicine cat. But then she lost that too when her own daughter tell everyone about her secret
Crowfeather lost his two loves, one by death and the other by rejection, and at the same time he lost the credibility of his own clan.
:(
Correction (even if this is an old video) crowfeather never attacked nightcloud he only hissed at her and was trying to defend himself
Poor Crowfeather... First, he lost Deadfoot, then Feathertail, then Hollyleaf, and, now, he's lost Leafpool. It's hard not to feel sorry for him.
Oh boy...
RaiOfSunshine
Oh, I am in one hundred percent agreement with this.
It is a mystery. Thank ye :0
i wonder why
Crowfeather... Tries to be a good father and I wish that he had just left WindClan to be with Leafpool, who didn't TELL him that she was expecting his kits.
But he didn't.
Like Leafpool, he chose his Clan instead of his heart and at first, I raged, vowing to hate Crowfeather and Leafpool for the rest of my life due to his "angst "
His life is heartbreak after heartbreak, from an apprentice to now...
He loved Feathertail and I shipped them so hard...

Nightcloud turns out to be the more abusing in crowfeather relationship, yes he may have used her to prove loyalty, but nightcloud just wanted him for a kit or kits, and when crowfeather apparently abused nightcloud, he didnt’ here how it went, breezpelt lashed out at leafpool and crowfeather went to stop his son, nightcloud then jelly, she dug her claws into crows shoulders and dragged him away and then he got out of her grasped and hissed, out of the two nightcloud is way more abusive, so I will proudly say crowfeather is one of my favorite caricature

Also me: Starts crying realizing how my life could end up like Crowfeather's if I continue like this.
This is why Crowfeather's Trial is one of my favorite super edition. In it, he finally learns how to deal with his issues and grief. Highly recommend!
*Then Crowfeather becomes deputy*
To be fair, it said "Crowfeather turned on her, hissing," so it's up to interpretation to what he did. If it's true that he attacked her, then it was self-defense since Nightcloud was *literally sinking her claws into his pelt,* causing harm as she dragged him away forcefully. Breezepelt's reaction gave off the impression that Crow was in the wrong for getting out of his mate's grip. That's like *shaming someone for defending himself.* Both Crow and Night are horrible for each other, regardless of whether they are mates or not.
Now Crowfeather needs a romance with a cat in Shadowclan
Don’t forget Skyclan xd

Can I just say something? Crowfeather has suffered a lot, but is not evil like some are, like Mapleshade. In my opinion, she is the saddest warrior cat because she went INSANE, and killed 3 cats while alive, and Crookedstar's whole family later on. THAT'S sad.

I knew he was suicidal. I feel bad for Crowy.
*I still ship FeatherFeather*
Man, you're really good at this stuff I didn't even realize that Crowfeather tried to suicide.
Personally, I think if Feathertail survived, Crowpaw would’ve joined riverclan to be with her
Actually to be honest, I don't think Nightcloud is the only cat in WindClan whose doesn't really like him.
Crowfeather didn’t actually neglect Breezepelt, both he and Nightcloud treated him well but Breezepelt was just being a jerk.
I didn't write this but another person did.)
Time to debunk a bit of this:
Crowfeather NEVER physically hurt Nightcloud or Breezepelt (at least to my memory, so correct me if I’m wrong).
Nightcloud is more abusive than Crowfeather (she’s extremely manipulative)
Reading this in 2020 after Crowfeather's Trial, it's funny to see just how much you got right. :P
@@blackrose_k8062 He did. And her got his suffix in honor of Crookedstar, who's name before getting a broken jaw was Stormkit
I feel bad for nightcloud and the reason why she’s on edge is because of what happened between crowfeather and leafpool and not wanting to be the fool infront of the clan if they ever wander off again. She does have flaws and is very insecure about her entire life and tries to take control of it.
Sadly, I can't say that this changed my feelings toward Crow, but this was an absoluely lovely character analysis!
I'd say Goosefeather. He was cursed to have visions of tragedy after tragedy and could do nothing to stop them.
I think that another warrior with a very sad life was Clear Sky. Both his mates died and one was carrying his unborn kits! At least he had a happy ending
Lauren Marnell Clear Sky was also a mega jerk.
trashcan *also*
Bluestar : she stayed in her den crying and eating ice cream and ignoring everyone without letting someone take care of her and forgetting who everyone is..
Then becoming some hecking mood as she becomes happy then some depressed freak and ignores StarClan from destroying her clan and all lol
Uh... I do NOT remember him trying to kill himself! What page is that?
Olivia May idk
It was in dawn! you don't remember, but it's true
I'm surprised no one has responded to this! I was wondering the same thing and found it. In my copy it's on page 180 (last page before chapter 14 begins).
How do you not remember? It was while they were saving Shadowclan from monsters.
But now we have Crowfeather’s super edition!!
He’s Harestar’s deputy now though!
Oh god
Mom: Clean your room!
Me: Nahh, go away mom
Me: *remembers crowfeather*
Me: * sniff * okay...... i'll do it
I actually felt bad for Crowfeather.
Crows and Ravens are very similar, both Crowfeather and Ravenpaw had mean mentors, and they’re both dark colored toms.
honestly stuck between Crowfeather and Greystripe.
That is how I see it
IceKat9494 that happened once when she had been leader for moons and moons and not having episodes like that
Okay lemme just debunk stuff in defense of Thistleclaw, even though I'm months late.
The one cat that you should feel sympathy for.
Not Ivypool.
Crowfeather
Leafpool's and Crowfeather's relationship was boring to read it felt forced.
Crowpaw in Dawn: This girl I liked sacrificed herself so I could live. Therefore, I will make her death in vain by killing myself.
what about graystripe/stormfur! mainly stormfur... Stormfur and feathertail get threatened to get killed as apprentices stormfurs sister dies his father gets kidnapped by twolegs and he never saw his mother (except for starclan)
ok bai
*Crow×Leaf needs to live again*
Nah, Crowfeather legitimately loved Leafpool, this wasnt available back then but in Squirrelflights Hope, crowfeather is seen on multiple occasions to be worried or looking at Leafpool. And in A Light in the Mist, when //SPOILERS AHEAD//
The starclan cats come to pick up the cats in the dark forest, crowfeather is seen pressing himself against leafpool and twirling their tails together.
// SPOILER OVER//
Leafpool and Crowfeather never lost feelings for eachother and i dearly hope that if Crowfeather becomes Crowstar, Leafpool and Feathertail will give him a life each. Im a huge fan of Crowpool and ivwanted them to stay together. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
Wow. I always thought Bluestar was the symbol of depression. Now with this video out in the open, I completely changed my mind.
I LOVE CROWFEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All this reminds me of the Let Me Down Slowly MAP. The description to the video is just such a sad read!
I actually like BreezePelt and NightCloud. I’m definitely on their side.
Crowfeather: “my first girlfriend got crushed by a rock”
Me: “that’s rough buddy.”
