I (a finnish guy) lived in Port Moresby when I was 13 for about 1,5 years back in the beginning of 2000's. We lived near Gerehu among the locals, not where the western folk usually do. As a caucasian you can imagine I have been on multiple hazardous situations, for example I seeing my dad at gun point fighting three men who were trying to steal our car in the middle of the day. Thankfully nothing irreversible happened that day, it is a very dangerous place to live in. I still have some great memories from that country and it has a special place in my heart always. Funny to see that the streetview is exactly like it was back then and people look the same with their outfits. I still remember the smell of betel nut and the red coloured streets (cause of people spitting out while chewing). It's nice to watch videos like this, since you're really where the locals hang out. This guy goes from driving a Ferrari in one video, to a mini bus with a piece of wood as a seat in the next video! Kurt Caz, a man of extremes.
Crazy how people talking shit that he rented a super car!!
@@raylaz1775 ik bruh... crazy how they're all insecure then when he goes back in a poor country everyone cheers him. Its funny seeing the contrast of the comments between this video and the last two previous video when he was in the UAE
@waitwho3074 It's just not interesting, Dubai, Katar UAE, all oligarchs who keep slave's. Flexing a lifestyle which is built on hundreds of years of oppression is lame.
Kurt gives you the full experience of a place. its crazy how he attracts people and they just treat him with respect and show him around and help him out. he is a real people person. All props brother, keep the videos coming in.
He gets treated with respect cause he treats people with respect to begin with, his genuinely curious, down to earth and friendly, that's why he draws the crowds. Plus, you dont see many caucasian people wondering the streets of Port Moresby.
Exactly, he's extremely genuine and has no fear/ hang ups that stop him from fully embracing the culture
W Rizz
"they treat him with respect" LMAO he is a white guy with money, thats it. they use him.
@@reinerwingel282 I didnt see kurt buy them anything. I dont know what crack you been smoking. Either way Even when kurt does go to other places. he doesnt splash out he lives and experiences local things.
Mate, the way you are making your accounts of your travels is nothing but brilliant. You are a true humanist and please keep your fantastic content coming.
That's great. Look the happiness among them, pure and without a reason. They just laugh.. awesome ♥️
Big up yourself Kurt
Kurt I have been to Port Moresby and the highlands around Garoka and then drove to Lae in the back of a pickup truck in 1996 and trust me mate it was nothing short of a war zone at times! Alcohol is a HUGE problem there. You are a brave man wondering around with these gang members but also very smart! I met some wonderful locals in Rabul and the cultures are amazing, it is the Rascal contingent that makes life difficult for both locals and tourists. Truly one of the most dangerous places I have been in the world and I have been to 54 countries. Was caught in the middle of two 200 person brawls and the police just came in and started beating people with truncheons lol. And the hotel would lock us in after 10pm and disallow any guests from leaving the premises for their safety. But looking back were some great memories of the Ghost Ships in Rabul and the volcano blowing up every 30 mins. Keep the great content coming!
a main road was blocked for two and a half years while local tribes fought across not so long back.....Tribal fighting...
So would you say Rabaul is the safest place in P.N.G?
@@hadassahbatchen7680 Honestly I really can't say due to my limited travels there but from what I gather parts around East New Britain and the islands off there tend to be less populated hence less crime. But unfortunately poverty is pervasive. I met some of the most lovely people there from PNG of all economic backgrounds. There is good everywhere and the beauty of the country is spectacular. Rabul due to the WW2 history is amazing if you are a history buff as I am.
@amarbaha Thank you for having an open mindset to see the beauty of Papua New Guinea as a whole despite the negative view the outside world has on us. The people desperately want change but it's our leaders that keep bringing the whole country back. We'll thank you and have a blessed day. 🙌
Now this is uncharted territory for many but Kurt comes out with another banger 🇵🇬
Proud the boys were able to communicate well in English with Kurt. PNG has about 860 + languages and ethnicities. Thumps up to Kurt for his simplicity and adaptability to the diverse cultures that he has had exposure to. Well done.

kurt is just so savvy. vibe checked the whole group at 34 min by asking the woman if she knew all the boys... such a good way to verify that they weren't finessing him to hard while simultaneously gaining the respect of an elder and therefor more respect from the group.
Interesting point, I thought they passed vibe checked already (great energy) but could be extra verification
also, not eating food someone hands you and sitting in the back of the bus

Dude is an absolute legend he even did the advertisement better than most RUclipsrs 😂
i think it maybe the first ad that i haven't skipped!
Might be the first ad that got me interested in the product 😂
Wow..what an experience just watching this video..Everyone was warm and friendly to you in a place that is very dangerous to be a tourist in..The way you are respectful to all and yet hold your space with confidence makes you the right person to get these adventures on film..Very cool.

A true man of the people. Always love the connections you make with locals. Salute.
That was awesome. The people were very friendly
Quality!! People backed you up, much more friendly than ones iv watched in Bangladesh etc, speaking on a bigger scale, majority. Top notch people they seem, cost a few beers and bits but, what a tour and energy, changing, brotherhood, acceptance, you the vlogger blend in, adapt, courage, brave, hats off to you, sure be in fear much time but facing it,. These guys will never forget your visit to Papua New Guinea. You will be talked about for a long, long time.
Idk why I loved this video of you guys just hanging out and talking. Much like South Africa in a lot of ways. You can tell they really enjoyed showing you around and being on camera. Such a wholesome video.
This video made me smile.. Thank you!
The people of Papua New Guinea are beautiful people, much love and respect from the Navajo Nation🙏🏽. Good job connecting with these people & showing them respect Kurt, you are the man, love your videos!!!

Kurt, as a South African myself.....am not able to solve Africa's problems, but to experience, the food, the cultures, people...are something that needs to be explored. Not exploited.

You are too good Kurt. You touched everyone.
they were all so happy you were there. wow these people are so kind man
Bravo! That was a tour de force performance! To be able to walk the mental and physical tightrope of being a tourist and friend but also staying on your toes and keeping your wits about you in such an overwhelming environment like Paua New Guinea must have been an exhausting experience. I bet you sat down that night in your hotel, took a deep breath, took a big swig of something strong and just said, holy shit!
I worked and travelled several months through PNG and I really love this country.
It's difficult to travel but the impressive nature and the interesting cultures are worth it, I will come back one day.
That was a great video ! Loved the ppl
These are the most fun and genuine Kurt Caz videos that I enjoy the most. Cheers from Sweden 🇸🇪
I've been to PNG and wasn't allowed anywhere without an armed escort. There's a reason you saw no tourists, it's insanely dangerous. Things can turn bad in a split second and you can get caught in it. I wish you well man, be safe.
i found the puzzzzzyyyy
@@paulthomas1754 anyone from the pacific can tell you stories about PNG it's known that way for a reason. I knew guys who went there as PMC and it was pretty heavy. It all depends on where you go and with who, just like what you saw here.
@@PewPewPewDieDieDie they aren't wrong, PNG is one of the many impoverished places that have intel gathering services/training grounds for CIA, usually to overthrow the current gov. There's a reason Blackwater pays six figure salary plus hazard pay for the intel they are tasked to retrieve to help out the CIA, and they also have bodyguard work for high profile people. It's very very dangerous even for those equipped for it, that is why they prefer special forces or senior infantry who have been in the extreme situations and know how to handle it
