The Ticuna people are a transnational Indigenous group spread over Peru, Colombia and Brazil, and are the most numerous Amazonian people. They survived because European colonisers only reached the region in the 20th Century. They have VERY strict marriage laws, as Ana explained but Kurt didn’t get: each clan is represented by a plant, mammal or bird, and they cannot mix (feather with fur or plant, never feather with feather) to avoid inbreeding. If Ana wanted to marry Kurt, this would be frowned upon and very likely she would be unwelcome in her community. Also, they are VERY conservative, and Ana is not a escort or rent girl, or she wouldn’t be allowed to live with her family.
Brazil is a country in Latin America, but Indigenous Peoples are not Latinos. The Portuguese language was quite recently imposed to them (hence many not being able to fully communicate in Portuguese).
For the Brazilians who never knew that other languages are spoken in their country, please, you need to get out more, touch some grass or watch some documentaries. In my state there are twelve languages, and we were one of the first to be invaded by Europeans.
Kurt, you should make clear to your viewers that our Indigenous folks are to be respected, or we will be once again invaded by sex tourists. I love your videos and can tell you are a good guy, but letting your infantile audience think otherwise is not cool.

Years ago, I was in latin America, but very remote and came across a town. I was there early in the morning, so the market just started to open up. Children walking to school, grandparents and elders opening up their side shops etc but these native women in their their traditional clothes in the town centers' open market were such beauty that I just stood on the side, far removed and observe. I had over 5k of dslr equipment on me. It was the only time I just didn't feel like taking a single photo in all my travels. It just didn't make sense. I don't think they even knew that a stranger was among them - I had to go to their goverment building to let them know that I was there, for safety.

I'm a foreigner living in Florida. I met an awesome Brazilian family when I was younger, had a crush on their daughter. They seemed so happy and carefree. It was a breath of fresh air for me as I missed that feeling once we emigrated from Europe. That family eventually moved back to Brazil, I can see why.
What a life! Beautiful culture and the people are very friendly. Tikuna know how to enjoy life!

My wife is from Brazil. We met when I was doing some work there. It’s a beautiful, wonderful country. I love your videos It brings back a lot of memories from a couple of years that we live there in Belo Horizonte. Riding motorcycles, everywhere, amazing food, family is central to everything, very hospitable culture. Your Portuguese is excellent by the way.
Same, interior MG, miss it a lot. You have to be pretty adventurous to do what Kurt does in deep interior brasil, but that's where you experience the best of what Brasil has to offer. The smaller the town the better the people, culture, food, and often times safer (although counterintuitive).

He was Brazilian, but more than 40 years later I don't recall what city he lived in. He was married to a woman that was transferred to another location a couple of years later. I hope Kurt makes more videos with Ana Banana. She is absolutely stunning, like a princess! The way she walks and her confidence, and not a care in the world. And on top of that, she seems like a perfect woman on the inside. Kurt has had some amazing looking ones but none compare to her.
