I love having family in other parts of the world so i can experience these things - that we are missing

Very few American non-Muslims were welcomed as dinner guests into Muslim homes. I was and even asked to stay in Saudi Arabia and work there. The evening with low light, delicious arepas, conversation with a cute girl, nice view, happy family around, distant sounds from carnival music - the perfect conditions, which activate your long term memory to capture the moment forever. Man, hispanic/latino people are seriously so nice. I used to work with people from Guatemala and all over Mexico, one from Columbia. They were honest, hard working, and fun, family oriented people. The amount of care they have for their families is something I wish we could have again here in America.

This video brought back happy memories for me seeing this close knit family pulling together and caring for each other.

Such a nice gesture from the family to bring you in to allow us to see what poor Venezuela looks like. I remember those days as a kid myself coming from a third world country myself. As a kid life is fun and games until you realize there is no opportunities. This is what poverty and misery looks like. No opportunities to become an engineer, doctor, educator. Most of these people will stay here for generation in misery. You can't give me no amount of money to live there. If you do, I will move to better parts of Venezuela. Most poor countries have this type of community because the whole town is in the same shithole. they got no options than to help each other to survive
