In South America, including Venezuela, we received many nazi germans with changed identities after WW2 so no mocking around with it. Maybe in other parts of South America they may have gotten away with it, even in the US, but not in Venezuela, there is open rejection to racism, first slave revolts even ocurred in the 1500's way before the US became a country so there may be a background to it. But it was mostly out of ignorance and BS from that guy too, we have had ok germans and their descendants living in Venezuela since the 1860's. In fact the first germans arriving to the american mainland and have their first colony was in Venezuela, early XVI century (known as the Klein Venedig of the Welsers, bankers from Augsburg). It was in very early times, when Brasil as such was not a even a country but territories still being explored by the portuguese. So even a tiny german dna may still be around in the general population. I think we have had one of the highest per capita consumption of beer in South America if not the highest. Even local maltz drink per capita consumption is quite high too (malta), maybe even higher than Germany itself 😄. Curiously, münster cheese, a german style cheese arriving to Venezuela vía the US, is also popular and it's locally made at factory level. Very unique and strange tastes for tropical South America, who knows why 🤠👍 Indeed, the first germans, swiss, polish, checzs and flemish to set foot on the american mainland was during that time of the Klein Venedig who came to work as miners for the Welsers. 1520's. The colony didn't last long though due to the miners complaints and local indians extreme mistreatment. King Charles I of Spain did not renew the contract to the Welsers and the territory went under Spanish direct government. Much later, during WW2 we also had 3 preventive concentration camps for local german nazi supporters, such camps do not exist now but were located in our andean region, some 600 were imprisioned there, but the rest of the german community in Venezuela ok untill today. U2 boats also sank some oil tankers operating from Maracaibo Lake. It is presumed the small submarines hid at some locations along some of our isolated coastal areas, only some local vague accounts from that time remain. We have had a historical link to Germany somehow, for example the founder of our military aviation was a venezuelan-german ace pilot who flew next to the famous Red Baron. He personally chose the venezuelan guy studying in Germany at that time to be part if his elite combat group. After WW1 the venezuelan went back to the country and helped setting up the air force and first military pilot school using some french biplanes 😄👍 Humboldt also made some of his exploratory journeys around venezuelan jungle, the country's second highest mountain is named after him.

Tourism brings good money to the country. The government should protect people like him. It's a beautiful country and shouldn't suffer as it does due to geopolitics. The US hurting so many people over money and power. Such a shame, all because Venezuela didn't want to become another Mexico.

I been to Brazil Rio Sao Paulo with a Brazilian friend and a bunch of other friends best trip I ever went on, the people are awesome to be around, very happy and they take care if themselves, people's appearance overall was better than u see in American city and there was no fat people that was a trip when I finally realized it, I told my friend where is all the fat people there is none, America is like 30 or 40 out of shape And overall everyone is just happier and more respectful and genuine, real, than America. The lower income is just seems normal and everyone makes do, their not miserable like the low income areas in America, I mean the people that aren't homeless, and beautiful people and lively but u have to be careful blend in alot easier when brown gotta buy their clothes yo so u wear the same and look the same, and have one local with u u can genuinely trust, and aren't sure if u can trust. Just find a genuine person. And ask then if they can show u around and pay them for a couple days if they can.

I can't lie ,Kurt's stright up a hero to me, I'm a grown man but this young lad is living his best life, he's got balls of steel, he goes places many wouldn't dare go, that's because he's a genuine people's person, he can look after him self but locals always take good care of him where ever he goes, he fits in with locals and they always respect him because he's a genuine bloke. One thing I love about latin culture is how big and tight knit the families are. I wish I had sisters, brothers, cousins and uncles around me like Marianny does :)
I was little sad that here in Brazil with a lot more business and freedom has some similarities with Venezuela...even close prices. That's good for them. I discovered that with crises here in Latin America the people always want change the government...I think that in this regions the administration could be by public career with little selection in the end by there's important peers. One simple solid third-world constitution could guarantee the relationship with the rest of the world. Confidence is the key to put a end in the crises.
Yes, family is more of a tight net structure than America or even Europe. However, it is partly out of necessity. 10 people can put their money together and live better than 3-4 people can and a lot better than just one.

@@awaiskhan9329 I’m 37 years old, born and raised in Caracas, I’m learning with this video today that there safer areas than others in petare. The reality is that if you’re not from there, you don’t even get near the barrio Petare. Is not a snobbish thing, people have always been legit afraid of getting anywhere near. I now live in the United States and I’m hearing that it’s getting safer than before, this is because a lot of the bad guys spread all over the continent when the Bolívar started losing value and dollar was still not in circulation. So the exodus of Venezuelans includes thieves as well, luckily for Petare and it’s beautiful people they are now finding some peace. If you look closely in the video, you only see police in the main square right at the beginning, I don’t think police would go up there. Hope this helps you a bit understand the situation.
The amount of love from the family and friends in this is amazing. I could feel it from my computer screen in America, and it made my day. Thank you so much for sharing!

This is the other side of one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Venezuela. But the biggest asset our country has is its people. Venezuelans are kind, warm, helpful, and hard-working. We have many needs in our country, but in the end, we have here the material to put this country in a better position in front of the entire world. We're not only oil. We are a country rich in culture, history, and traditions, and thank you very much for visiting us.

Don't be naive. KURT was lucky he did not get mugged or killed! There are nice people in Vzla, but in those slums, except for a few, the WORST of the WORST thugs swarm around PETARE. This was an awesome video. I lived in Venezuela and had many friends in Petare. The Venezuelan people are some of the best people in the world. You were in some dangerous areas and they were watching out for you. Such good people. So much innocent suffering is happening there.
I wouldn't attribute it all to kindness. Authorities there are concerned about how videos and photos can be used to criticize the regime. Best for THEM that nothing bad happens on video.
Its crazy how friendly people like Mariannys family are even though they have not that much like people here in Europe. Still they are richer but a differenz richness which is happiness and composure. Really sympathetic people👍 Greedings from Germany.
In Poland 20-30 years ago we had worse living conditions than in Venezuela at this time. Over time, I have noticed that Slavs and Latinos have a similar way of looking at life. They are really life grounded when it comes to media information, politics, they are learned on own skin to not believe every bullshit and look on things with distance. They are resourceful and they are able to "figure things out" from nothing. They can make something out of nothing, just like the Poles who had to take care of everything on their own when there was nothing. They have the same religion, and family comes first. Sometimes you got money and sometimes not, but you can always rely on family.
I’m going to admit I didn’t know anything about “ la favellas “ until a few years ago … didn’t know Brazil had whole cities of shanty towns and small houses so stacked together or on top of each other … 🙏❤️💯 to her Father … he seems so easy and humble to meet and talk to while he cares for his familia and is proud to bring people into his home and entertain them … I wish all the best to the family … 👏💫❤️💯🇨🇦🦋

It's not legal tender but everyday things are dealt in dollars now, so people can earn their wages or do business with a more stable currency. Earning bolivares was heartbreaking, your hard earned money would get decimated by devaluation and inflation in days.

Qué hermosa y humilde es Marianny y su familia! lindo video, cuidate Kurt! Abrazo
I got stunned when her dad told Kurt about the policemen who followed to protect them. Hope they all stay safe💜
"here in Europe".. you mean Western Europe. For example Republic of Moldova, which is in Europe, has worse living conditions than Venezuela.
Europe will look soon similar like this Venezuela if those in Brussel do not stop soon and start to use brain finally!
@@spotlight3465 Well said
@@spotlight3465 they don’t Latins actually build stuff
Great to see the woman by the car wanted to make sure they knew it wasn’t safe to go passed the corner.
Good people there and looking out for them
I’m going to admit I didn’t know anything about “ la favellas “ until a few years ago … didn’t know Brazil had whole cities of shanty towns and small houses so stacked together or on top of each other … 🙏❤️💯 to her Father … he seems so easy and humble to meet and talk to while he cares for his familia and is proud to bring people into his home and entertain them … I wish all the best to the family … 👏💫❤️💯🇨🇦🦋
Hello, I am from Iran and I am really impressed by how kind and generous these people are. Hope the best days for Venezuela.❤
One of the last countries not taken over by the globo homo American empire, I hope Iran holds strong.
Being from Iran, don't you get it? White privilege!

Kurt your devotion to culture shows I love how you respect everything and you acknowledge saying hello using basic social skills- most people in the USA don’t even say hello to anyone now a days
Give me a break meanwhile people get kidnapped and killed in Venezuela. Stop painting wide stereotypes of a country with the worlds third largest population.
@@chucknoris7648 I spoke nothing about Venezuela or “painted a picture” the only thing I acknowledged was his devotion to other cultures meaning how he shows respect to other countries. Not the the county he’s in is showing him respect.
Obviously countries like Venezuela and many others alike have issues. But the key is the basic human social skill of acknowledgement and saying hello to one another is something most folks don’t partake in these kind of days. Take your ignorance somewhere else.
Agree 100%. You always have to come from light.
@@giovannigamez8901 If the Venezuelans wanted to improve their lives, they would have to follow what SINGAPOUR did many years ago. Get these politicians who have committed acts of corruption to the firing squad. I'm serious about it!
That's an idiotic thing to say. Have you been all around the US?
It’s so cool that Marianny is showing you around, I bet she must ge nervous walking in the dangerous areas. And it’s also super nice that you are appreciative and kind to her family, they seem like top notch people. ❤️ loved the video and vibes
Edit: there seems to be some confusion as to why I said he is being kind. It doesn’t mean the family isn’t, it’s obvious they are being kind, they are amazing hosts!! But I mentioned his kindness because I sense that he’s not taking advantage of *their* kindness only to film around and use them. He genuinely cares, just like Marianny’s family care for him. Some of you guys really like to twist things around
He’s kind to her family? What the fuck? It’s the other way round - her family are kind to him.
@@mirandaal4541 Ambos, he's like "Peter Santenello", vlogger, RESPECTFUL AND KIND!
@@mirandaal4541 why’re you so offended?

Kurt is crushing it out there with the latinas. Gotta respect the hustle and good taste in women.
The amount of respect you show to people is beautiful man.
The amount of respect? That's maybe so, now it's time to show some respect to his lady instead of an object by keep saying "Venezuelan Girl" in his title or is she not his girlfriend? If not, I rest my case ---if so, he needs to realize his ugly face is very lucky to have a beautiful and kind lady in his life.
@@lionsground wtf man, chill. Whatever their relation is, it is not disrespectful. When there is "Venezuelan Girl" in the title I knew she will show some Venezuelan neighbourhood, not just any hood and her name itself wouldn't mean anything if you didn't know her before.
@@lionsground you need therapy
@@lionsground I agree not to mention how many times he said "Hood" do they call people of higher class people who are from the "hood" ? How is making a video to get sponsor and subscribers a sign of respect?????

Thank you for these videos Kurt. I’m a loner and when I watch these I feel as if I’m with you guys on your adventures. Much love and luck!
Venezuelans seem like wonderful people. God bless Venezuela
Latinos are generally kind people, Venezuelans take it to a whole different level.
@@zakwan10 well the fact that they are based more on culture which is what latin country embrace the most
They dont really value superficial things like that though

Now that's a nice girl. Happy parents and a good family. Genuine smiles.
What great people. And the way Marianny welcomed you to her family house!
Marianny
Recently found you, great videos, it doesn't get more authentic and real than this. Just straight up what it is like in those places, without lies and trying to portray it diffrently. Not only that, you never fail to entertain with all the interactions you make and the adventures that you have, you are living the life man. You're the best in what you do Kurt, never stop!
It's the people that makes a country beautiful. This is a beautiful country. I love the energy.
