Yes you do have a problem by thinking that. When you think like that please ask yourself a negative on how many people have less people to speak to than yourself. There's people out there who have no one to talk to and they die and their body rots away as they have no one to speak to. I'm a 56yrs old person living on my own no one visit me. If I die I will rot away unnoticed for a while. Does that bother me ? Does it heck , So why should you be saying you got a problem cause he speaks to more people 🤔 .

I've only come across your channel at the start of this week but it has already grown to be my favorite one on RUclips, The way you are able to interact with the locals and are actually knowledgeable about the places you visit is unlike most other youtubers. Great episode ! I was fascinated by how many different and local tasks you were able to complete. The confidence you display in these videos is quite inspiring and exuberant. It inspires me to have more confidence when traveling ! Thank you Kurt
I wouldn't call them friends. Kurt is basically as gentle with interacting with them as he can be. Those people can snap in a second and try to kill you. I wouldn't call "friendly place" a country in which around 60000 people get killed yearly. Most of them are predators in hiding.
i like how you support these local small business in the street. I wish I have the leverage and privilege to do what you do kurt. such inspiration. soon.
One thing that I liked about the cities in South America is their city were designed to be WALKABLE for public. Compared to my hometown Jakarta, Indonesia with our chaotic street designs. We may have futuristic skyscrapers and stuff but lack of proper access for pedestrians, even though our government has been improving the public transportation.
You're right. Being from Lima, i was shocked when i visted Jakarta years ago. But all major South American cities, Caracas, Bogota, Medellin, Quito, Guayaquil, Lima, La Paz, Santiago, BA, Asuncion, Montevideo, and probably most Brazilian cities as well, are all fairly walkable (certainly not Stockholm or Copenhagen level, but still...)
Just discovered this channel and I can't stop watching. So authentic and none of the flashy in your face bs. Love it! Wonder how he stays in shape when traveling so much? Especially in countries where gyms are uncommon.

I'm not sure if you've already posted a video like this, but I would love to hear what your personal safety "best practices" are when you travel.
If you ever travel to Venezuela you should visit the tiny town of la Colonia Tovar, german roots from the 1860's, settlers from the Black Forest. 🤠👍 The first german colony in the Americas was actually the "Klein Venedig" of the Welsers, bankers from Augsburg, at a time when the portuguese were still exploring the lands which eventually became Brazil and the British, Dutch or French pirates weren't even around, mid 1520's. Curiously, malt drink (maltzgetränke) consumption per capita in Venezuela may be even higher than in Germany itself 😄 it is made locally, a drink not very well known in other parts of South America or Europe, not even in Spain. Also popular are münster style cheese arriving in Venezuela via US in the 60's aprox. and now locally made at factory level. Polish style sausages too are made locally and used a lot for hot dogs. Hamburgers and beer consumption is very high per capita too. Uncommon tastes for the rest of Sth. America.

Watching your videos in Caracas fills me up with nostalgia. I have been in Sabana Grande so many times, I have been on that KFC many times as well. Hi Juliana, Maybe you can start filming too, for a start and upload in youtube so that you will earn too like Kurt, from there you can now travel like him..
Does Puerto Rico National Guard still wear any U.S. Emblems on their uniforms? Weird question I know, but I served a stint with the U.S. Army and we had guys from Puerto Rico in our training platoon and always wondered what the relation is with the U.S. Army like are they a part of the U.S. military or separate and we train them or could for example I, as an American decide to serve in a unit in Puerto Rico? Crazy question, 😂 I know but I have never met anyone from Puerto Rico again to ask that question! Thank you.

I've only come across your channel at the start of this week but it has already grown to be my favorite one on RUclips, The way you are able to interact with the locals and are actually knowledgeable about the places you visit is unlike most other youtubers.
I am currently learning spanish and these videos are great since they are so entertaining to watch and i am unintentionally picking up new words and in what context to use them throughout the videos, even though i'm still working on the basics these video's have helped me a great amount so far.

One thing that I liked about the cities in South America is their city were designed to be WALKABLE for public. Compared to my hometown Jakarta, Indonesia with our chaotic street designs. We may have futuristic skyscrapers and stuff but lack of proper access for pedestrians, even though our government has been improving the public transportation.
not all countries in South America are the same. Greetings from Germany :)

America.
