I had a friend from Hyderabad watch this and explain the Hotel situation to me. The hotel owners were trying to tell you that they cannot rent you a room. The government only allows foreigners to rent from certain hotels that are considered "safe" and meet a standard that the government considers a high enough standard for foreign tourists. One of them seems to be Hotel Indus as they mentioned it more than once. The one place that was going to accommodate you was charging you that high rate so that they could cover the fine from the government if they got caught. The others likely assumed you were sent by the government with a camera to catch them so the government could fine them if they rented you a room.
Hey there Kurt, glad that you are in Pakistan and I hope you enjoy your visit. I would have welcomed you in my house if I was in Pakistan. That's seems so crazy for people to just sit and watch a person eat...but you always go with the flow...live life to the fullest
I love how Kurt is friendly and all, but underneath that disposition he is watching his surroundings and is ultra observant of everything. I will say though, I do not trust ppl as easily as he does, at ALL! But overall, I think I'd feel quite safe traveling with him. ( have you seen him wrestling on that Colombian beach?) I'd follow this guy anywhere.
I hope Kurt went more northern Pakistan like hamza valley, Gilgit valley, or swat valley. He will definitely forget what other Pakistani cities are. Although i love Karachi, Lahore, islamabad, every city in Pakistan I recommend couples to go to the valleys that I mention. Must recommend!

The kids there like to pick pocket. They aren’t in a group following you because they’ve never seen a white man before (Russians visit this country a lot). They’ll try to find an open chance to grab something. They’re like piranhas
Ya he seems to know some jits and his whereabouts. One thing though Kurt will carelessly walk into traffic I don't trust drivers anywhere lol
I think he just politely gives people the benefit of the doubt, knowing he will take care of business quickly if he has to. I've seen him in enough situations where people who may have otherwise been planning something on him were able to sense it.

First of all mate you should not apologize (but I’m sure we all appreciate your sentiment and kindness). Seems from the video the people there are actually quite kind and welcoming.
