Edwin was communicating what Kurt was saying to the vendor in there language since the vendor probably spoke better their language than English and that’s why Edwin said to keep the 200 because Kurt said it was fine. I speak little Spanish and when I go to Ecuador and I have friends letting me know how much it is and they say it’s .50 cents and I have three dollars on me, I don’t think three dollars is a lot so if my friend says “they said it’s 50 cents” I give them the $3 and my friend says it’s too much, I go “it’s fine “ just tell them to keep it, because what for me isn’t much, for the vendor is much more,,, ALSO Kurt doesn’t like to speak about giving away money on his channel, he’s said many times before that he doesn’t like to speak about that, he may have exclusively said it for the $40 since he wanted to clarify that Edwin didn’t ask him, but in the vendors case he probably just wanted it to stay lowkey since it was such a small amount extra to him

It can get real rather quick... You can only push it so far, and when it does go wrong, which it eventually will, you get ganged up on, sucker punched or stabbed in the back, and there's nothing you can do about it, and the police won't give a f*** either. That's how it actually goes. You'll never be the same, trust me. I've seen this many times. First you won't even notice, but pretty soon the anxiety creeps in, then you have your first panic attacks, and a year or two of misery later you slowly start to realise what PTSD is and how serious it actually is, and just how significantly it affects your life. There's a reason people flee to the west and not these s*** holes.

I was in Kenya and Tanzania last June. Being constantly hit up for money or services is grating. Lots of amazing places but that part of traveling to some countries sucks.
This is really interesting. I remember, as a kid, when we were in African or Central American countries (pleb style, in tourist hotel), they always told us where not to go and how it's dangerous etc, and those areas were what I was actually interested in. Visiting the actual country, seeing the people, getting an idea of their day to day lives, not getting a tourist experience which is restricted to a fenced area with a swimming pool. Then i found these Kenya Episodes. Man.... Took me Back like 7years. Had almost same exact experiences. And went deep everywhere...Mombasa, kisumu...night Time stages. I was in Kenya and Tanzania last June. Being constantly hit up for money or services is grating. Lots of amazing places but that part of traveling to some countries sucks.
This is really interesting. I remember, as a kid, when we were in African or Central American countries (pleb style, in tourist hotel), they always told us where not to go and how it's dangerous etc, and those areas were what I was actually interested in. Visiting the actual country, seeing the people, getting an idea of their day to day lives, not getting a tourist experience which is restricted to a fenced area with a swimming pool. This was a freaking good video lol, and it did feel like movie quality man, the way the scenes played out, i couldnt stop watching because there was a lot of suspense, and the ending definitely had me feeling good and i was happy to know about someone like Edwin.
I don't know if anyone else felt it but at about 34:40 - 35:05 isn't that that just the best part of humanity? Two total strangers having some drinks together, sharing some food and having a dance and a laugh together like they've known each other their entire lives. That's what it's all about.

Then i found these Kenya Episodes. Man.... Took me Back like 7years. Had almost same exact experiences. And went deep everywhere...Mombasa, kisumu...night Time stages. Always found good people and had only very minimal problems. Also experience makes you wiser.
