The story of Kenya's liquid drugs and their impact on street children
In the second episode of Toxicity we take you among Nairobi's street kids, turned into zombies by lethal sniffing drugs such as glue and jet fuel, which they inhale hundreds of times every day.
These drugs mess with their brain functions and transform them into junkies incapable of controlling their mind and body.

This video is an eye opener to the darkest side of human suffering. All kudos to the presenter and the team who explored these unimaginable areas and brought such stories to light.
"you forget about being hungry..." this line made me think that nobody on earth wants to get high and do drugs basically. everyone who is a drug addict or taking lethal drugs is probably going through or have gone through some tough situations and might got one the wrong path of drugs. i hope nobody have to take drugs because of the negative emotions or situations.
This is true. Society tends to look down upon people who take drugs not Knowing what these people have been through or are going through to make them take such actions.
Seeing children as young as 13 years old take drugs because of their environment, lack of a future perspective, Poverty or even adult guidance breaks my heart.
It's not necessary that drugs destroy lives. Lives were already destroyed, and drugs were their way for forgetting
rich people take drugs too
Not nobody
Repent of sin and Trust in Jesus!
John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Matthew 7:13-23
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

No, the people are responsible for the politicians...this is a cultural issue...no work ethic, no focus on education, standards of living...you can give each of these people a billion dollars and they'd be in same condition in a few days. You can take them out of the country and they'd make where they move to be like the hell they left.

As a Kenyan my heart breaks while watching this 😢. I pray that kid you sent to buy glue, is safe. Lord! I hope they didn't do anything to him for "setting them up" ... Its so sad that this's happening at the center of the capital city. These are just young kids lost without any hope. Yet, after every five years we wake up to elect leaders who do nothing but steal! Sad state of affairs. May those kids get an Angel one day.
What a giant cosmic lottery we all were born into.
Yeh we should be grateful
The thing is we don't really have an idea of the big picture to know anything different down this way, not until seeing a video like this the truth hits hard
No lottery. God has a plan (atheists can keep all their hate to themselves). Not trying at all to downplay the suffering of these poor people (hope things improve for all who suffer), but it’s better to suffer temporarily in this life than eternally in the next (afterlife). In a way, being rich is something to avoid because you may stop believing in God and may start acting like you are a false so-called “god/goddess” who may erroneously believe that you don’t need God in your life. This is a massive mistake and one that can potentially land someone in Hell for all eternity. Peace be with you all! Viva Cristo Rey!
I have to question your intellectual prowess if you think that this video displays the plan of anyone or any being...
Hell is clearly a metaphor for the life that these people live in. If they don't find god they suffer? For eternity? People would get used to hell. After 9 million years of a flaming nightmare vulture chewing out your entrails it would become routine.

I bet that local politicians says: I'm fighting against poverty.
Yeah man. My experience here from Brazil, and seeing things like this... the best countries around works because their politicians care about their people and country. Politicians from my country, from Nairobi, they act against the nation only to keep the oligarchies rich.
But its easy just to blame pollies. Many may be corrupt, but so too are the police officers, perhaps doctors, nurses, teachers, border guards, military. I'd guess anything is for sale. Its really hard to turn around countries with such endemic poverty and Kenya isn't even that bad compared to other areas of Africa. The key is educating women and giving free birth control/abortion. Women tend to pull not only themselves, but their whole families out of poverty and when you reduce the birth rate, you give women better autonomy over their bodies and reduce the burden on healthcare, infrastructure, education etc.

This hurts my heart to see humans in such distress .
I almost cried watching this. These children are doing drugs in order to not feel hungry, thats so friggin sad i cant even think about anything else right now. We waste so much and yet so many more people live off our waste.

It is useful for some reasearchers but for the common folk this is a total waste of time. Not one minute was spent giving you methods on how to improve your life and others lives. Not a single minute. Think on that.
A researcher who needs to know state of places also knows where to find something useful.. but you will just go from one video to another like chasing so many endless shiny things... as the world crumbles around you same as your life.

None of us got to pick where and when we were born. The children of Kenya are victims of circumstance and government corruption. Great documentary
Amen u are right about that hunny
yes help these poor victims of oppression have a chance at the american dream and VOTE BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2020 HELP THESE PEOPLE COME TO AMERICA .DIVERSITY IS OUR GREATEST STRENGTH
Not everyone in Kenya lives like this though. There's those (like me, not to sound like I'm bragging what so ever) who are privileged enough to study at an international school and live in presidential looking mansions. However I truly do feel horrible for these young children who have to live such lives with no choices. I always make sure to give at least 1000 Bob ($10) a day to homeless children

People who say money doesn't bring happiness...this is what misery bring
Well realistically, money wouldn’t solve the problem. In cases people who have won in lottery they end up poor again in few years. Problem is that it doesn’t matter how much money you give to people who can’t handle money. It’s never enough
This is what laziness brings....its their fault they live like this only they can change it
@@albinorhyno1611 it's easy to say when you grow and learn this, but look at this place, their mindset. I understood what you mean ("oh, you are the only who can change your life if you want" and etc etc) and I believe in that too, but I don't would say it's ONLY their fault. that's where you're headed if you dont control drug use. In my country Kenya it's getting out of hand because peddlers from Afghanistan stop at our coast and also drugs addicts are left to fend for themselves. No one give a fvck. Most kids in poor areas abuse hard drugs
