19:18 I've always had the thought that old people who's been through a lot would be much wiser than the rest having learned from their past experiences, while there is this dude talking about how 'life is also important' while selling life threatening drugs to everyone.
Dimes evaded Prison for over 35 years and the former President of the country is now seeing the walls of Prison for the second time. The jokes write themselves.
As a South African , I'm laughing at this Anti- Gang Unit, such a joke , they are just acting for the cameras , our police departments are full of gang members. And lastly for the viewers watching from other countries, I highly recommend South Africa for travelling. My country is so beautiful, you just have to know the right places to visit.
What is interesting about this series of documentaries is the fact that the camera crews shooting the documentaies can gather all of the evidence needed to convict the gang members and their leaders - yet the gangs continue to thrive unopposed and undaunted; which leads me to conclude that the gangs, police and the politcians are all in bed with the cartels importing drugs into these poor communities. Also, if the police intentions were to actually apprehend a criminal, they wouldn't sponsor a Rose Bowl parade of police cars to do so - which gives any criminal that has a modicum of common sense a heads up to chill until the police leave. This is utter madness and is an insult to my intelligence.
My thoughts exactly, friend, and African countries are some of the most politically corrupt in the world - I have a good friend in Gambia and the things he tells me are mind-boggling.
The press aren’t the informants. They’re allowed to go to these places because the gangs want pple to know who they are and what they do. This is a tactic to keep the popo out.
That or by some of the big wigs he deals with for making this documentary and showing the world his operation....big time guys want nothing to do with the spotlight

It applies in every country mostly America if the government is in control of everything they could change laws and get rid of crime and gangs and drugs over night but there's money and disruption for them
The Government doesn’t care about anybody! South Africa is a mess due to no borders and no policing. You guard your own house. It’s the Wild West there and white people are the hunted now!
What senseless lives they lead -killing each other, destroying their own bodies The only ones I am really sorry for are the children Lives without dreams, without a future
in Dendermonde a small town in Belgium there is a neighborhood of social housing blocks called the Serboswijk. the neighborhood is sometimes referred to as little Chicago because of its martinality and crime rate.
and yet all the rich people in Africa basically choose it since they could easily put an end to the corruption, gangs and crime - but instead they build palaces sourrunded by walls and guards living in a in a selfmade and wanted prison drinking expensive wine. I could never live like that...
For them having no teeth is the thing. They have them pulled out to get the so called passion gap. As a dentist you make your money pulling out healthy front teeth.
Not true, a dentist office would be bankrupt in a week. Bc dental work is so expensive and so many people are on drugs. Not a single Person would go there to pay for Work. They might pay for a tooth to get pulled but that’s it. And that’s only so they aren’t in pain.

I am surprised that criminals would be willing to share all their secrets, their location, the cars they drive, their names, their faces, the details of their criminal enterprise. And then I remember vanity.
There aren't any significant consequences for them obviously.
It’s either some parts of the documentary fake, made up,paid actors or they can literally do what ever they want without any consequences 🤷🏻♂️

Exactly why the filming is allowed there. The authorities aren't going to do anything because what the gangs bring in they live off of too.
My thoughts exactly, friend, and African countries are some of the most politically corrupt in the world - I have a good friend in Gambia and the things he tells me are mind-boggling.
It doesn't work like that in these places
You should have your own true crime podcast
The press aren’t the informants. They’re allowed to go to these places because the gangs want pple to know who they are and what they do. This is a tactic to keep the popo out.

Open up a dental office in that hood and you'd be swimming in money in no time, then robbed for it even sooner. Keep the circle spinnin
They barley got any teeth to look at. How about making a booth that sells fake Halloween teeth?
For them having no teeth is the thing. They have them pulled out to get the so called passion gap. As a dentist you make your money pulling out healthy front teeth.
When you do crystal meth, that's what going to happen to your teeth.
Not true, a dentist office would be bankrupt in a week. Bc dental work is so expensive and so many people are on drugs. Not a single
Person would go there to pay for
Work. They might pay for a tooth to get pulled but that’s it. And that’s only so they aren’t in pain.
