Interesting choice for your top three endgames! I've been fortunate enough to have been able to listen to a number of endgames at my workplace this year and have to say that for vocal endgame I'd actually go for the Elysian Gaia instead of the Diva. To me the Diva sounds a bit smoothed over when compared to the Gaea as far as vocal timbre goes. While the Diva is most certainly more detailed and wider sounding I feel that the Gaea has better vocal performance with the only downside being that it is a bit in your face and thus can be fatiguing over time especially if you listen to genres like J-Pop or Rock which I predominantly listen to. I agree with you on the IER-Z1R for bass though. Still can't find anything that can beat it as far as punchy and well textured bass goes. As far as endgame that I've used the most this year it has to be the Monarch Mark 2. To me it still has the best timbre as well as texture out of any endgame IEM I have listened to. While the Gaea has better vocal texture it loses out compared to the Mark 2 in terms of overall timbre with instruments sounding better to me on them. While the Annihilator does have slightly better treble and soundstage as compared to the Mark 2, to me the Mark 2 still makes up for it with it having better bass as well as timbre. The annihilator is still the most detailed IEM I've heard to this day however which is still amazing but to me it's more of an IEM I'd listen to once in a while to be wowed by for orchestral tracks. For daily driving especially for my preferred genres the Mark 2 still takes the cake. I do hope to be able to try the Azul Performer 5 as well as the Wu Zetian Heyday someday!
Since you tried out bunch of endgame iem, if Im looking for an iem suited for orchestral and vocal musuc, what would you recommend? Anything from like $500 to 1500. Been interested in gaea and monarch mk2.
Gizaudio said the Annihilator is the most unique IEM he's ever heard. Do you agree with him or is it just detailed and wide soundstage? Regarding other IEMs, have you heard the Penon Impact, Oriolus Traillii, or Oriolus Isabellae? Mest Indigo? Last, which IEMs do you think wil "wow" a non-audiophile the moment they listen to it?
I got the Truthear Zero during the 11.11 discount for around 40$, shipped around 1-2 weeks from China (I got the free shipping option) Really enjoying it so far, one of the best mids I've ever heard in budget sets, Instruments sound clear but male vocal tends to be a bit less bold. Amazing for EDM, average for Rock Bass is decent, since it has the dedicated driver for low freq, but I'd like it to be more rumbly Beautiful resin on the housing design I swapped out the cable with Tripowin Zombur because I needed the mic Great purchase
The Truthear Zero is an amazing pair! I also purchased them as my first iem, and was kind of blown away by how good they sound. I almost immediately went and bought a pair of Moondrop Variations, and even though the Variations are overall definitely better, I still end up using the Zeros day to day, or while talking with friends or gaming for extended periods. The size of the Zeros is a lot more comfortable as well (albeit I have rather small ears). To me, the mid-bass on the Zeros is has a slightly more oomph. I recommend these to literally everyone wanting a pair of wired earphones. What kind of price range would you consider going for if you wanted to invest in a more rumbly pair?
The stock quarks are amazing. The price and tuning are extreme competition. And the comfort from how light and basic they are is peak. Not my go to desk IEM but amazing for outdoors and going to arcades.
My top pick ❤️for treble is the BGVP DX5 earbud. It’s really divine for string instruments. The treble is clean, smooth, sparkly, detailed and bodied👍. Mid is also clean, very good for female vocals. The only cons is the lack of bass which I think is probably good because this contributes to the cleaner mid and treble. And because it’s opened/unsealed, u get the most transparent and cleanest background among all other headphones. ✌️
Ever since I first got my first IEM (Wan'Er), all my old stuff sounds literally unbearable especially my cheap TWS. I'm happy with my purchase but an already looking forward to an upgrade!
I think the under $100 iem has to be the Thieaudio Legacy 2 tbh, sounds better than the Hexa comes with a better cable, better case. I honestly don't understand why there is no hype at all for them, they are some of my favorite iems I own at any price.

Just want to ask, I bought zs10 pros a while back and wanting to upgrade since most yt channels said that they aren't really that good. I was just wondering if the tangzu wan er with be a good upgrade or is it just a step down from the zs10 pros. I mainly use if for gaming and I also prefer having a little bit of bass but not overpowering. If not, please recommend something that would suit my needs but not for more than 100$. Thank you!
(This question may show my ignorance) i’m very interested in the aful performer 5 and am ordering a pair. Can i switch the cables with a 4.4 balanced cable? (Mostly because of my dap) will it hurt the iems? I recognize that it may not improve the sound.
hello Gizaudio! Have you tried the BASN Bmaster? I really like their sound signature but they're quality is terrible, they last 4 months tops. Do you know what their sound signature is? and do you know anything similar to it? Thanks for so much information! love your channel!!
Hi dear friend! Thank's for your work! Can you tell me, what's iem I can buy under 300$ with sound similar sony ier z1r? Performer 5 is a good choice? Or you can recommended anything?
It's the only one I've got in this price range but I love my $650 Yanyin x HBB Mahina. Has a fairly uncommon tuning that doesn't seem to be copied widely. Essentially, it shows off the bass, with a smooth tonality but the details are still there due to the quality of the ESTs and tuning.
@@ItsJustChase well with a Qudelix 5k, when you have one, you can have the other, lol. Personally I think the preproduction Kinda Lava tuning was better than the production model.
@@iamthe1234567890 I wouldnt trust EQ to replicate another signature, especially since the lava has 4 ests each instead of just 2. But hey, you do you.
@@ItsJustChase it's not exactly the same but most of the way there. I tried EQing a set of Sennheiser IE300, the default sound signature which I actually dislike (bought it blind in a half price Amazon sale) to my Mahina. I didn't think the Autoeq function on Squiglink was fully accurate, particularly when it came to the bass. I had to make further adjustments. So it's now closer, but there is still a qualitative difference for example between the bass quality from a single full range DD vs dedicated subwoofer DD. The Mahina also sounded more "coherent" than the EQed IE300 I'm guessing that going from tribrid to tribid would be a lot more "snap on". But I don't have another pair. If you have a Qudelix 5k, which is about 130 bucks, you could do this experiment.
Hey Timmy! I need the best sub 100€/$ IEMs for playing mostly electronic drums (at home) and rehearsing with my band - we are playing a lot rock/indie/pop but we also use a lot of electronic drum sounds like 808 kicks, snappy snares and other electronic instruments for electronic/hiphop style genres like synth basses and stuff. I’d maybe also like to try a sub 50$/€ IEM, which one would you recommend in this range? I ordered the Moondrop Arias but I don’t like them that much. I miss the the seperation of bassdrum, snares, toms and cymbals. The sound is pleasingly warm but not so good for playing electronic drums imo. I also have the KZ ZS10 Pro, I like the seperation of the instruments, but they just sound bad overall compared to the Arias. Do you have any recommendations for me? THX!
@Gizaudio - I am regular viewer of you. I love your explanation. I need a suggestion from you. Which should I purchase between 7Hz Timeless and Moondrop Kato? Can you please suggest whenever possible? If you please suggest one of them then that help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
Upon owning Kato and Aria already, is the tangzu wan er/quark dsp a good choice if i'd like to experience something more different in terms of sound signature? Or it would be too insignificant of a change to notice anything? Or would something like the kato still outshine the perks of those mentioned iems that it would straight up be pointless to try? Kinda new to this.
Quarks DSP has very fun bass, separation from bass to upper mid is darn good but my only nitpicks is the vocals, vocals have a bad resolution. Im still not good in reading fr but i think Quarks DSP lacks air.
Can some one share the artist and the song of the outro please? Shazam don't recognize it and have a hard time trying to identify the asian vocals... :(
1 earphones was Sennheiser CX 180 just $7 blows away quarks DSP or 7hz zero or those mk2 monark variations etc Out of stock Let's see what Moondrop CHU Jiu DSP does
Sorry, but the Kiwi Ears Cadenza can’t be touched in the under $100 range much less the $50 range. Can’t believe they can make an IEM for $35 that sounds that good.
I'm not sure the Ier-z1r being for bass heads. It's for people want a U-shape all rounder who will be shocked by the quality of the bass. The vocals require an excellent dac that can fix ier-z1r vocal thinness, then the vocals become realistic yet still not forward. ier z1r excels at acoustic instrument reproduction as well as electronic music because of its extended and smooth frequency response. And perhaps the best at spacial reproduction giving the feeling of being in a concert hall or a night club. But the signature is not "fun" imo.
Is there any notable different from a gaming/casual standpoint between budget and the 750 bracket? and I mean in any way at all. A bit ago I picked up a $40 pair off amazon, the KZ ZS10 Pros and eventually just felt like I could have the same audio capabilities from a headset, without the issues of hearing my own thoughts/blood vessels while trying to listen for minute details in a game. They also gave me very bad sores from rubbing on my ear wrong
can you please recommend me the best IEM with some good bass , clear sound quality and decent enough vocals . I usually listen to Hip-pop, pop, and bollywood songs. I have 5 options : 7hz Salnotes zero, Tangzu Wan'er, KZN ZSN PRO X ,qkz x hbb and Simgot EW100 DSP
What sound it have and how it sounds in ear. My latest FH7 sounds very well with metal genre. Fast base and rich tremble with no fatigue. I am surprised you don.t mention them.
Great video and great channel! Based on your recommendation I am considering buying either Moondrop x Crinacle Blessing2:Dusk or AFUL Performer5. However, I am not sure about the comfort. I heard that AFUL Performer5 is very comfortable and has a High-Damping Air-Pressure Balance System (not sure if it really works). I would like to avoid paying 100 USD more for just a bit better sound quality, but worse comfort. How would you compare the comfort of those two? I fully understand that it is a subjective thing, but unfortunately I cannot try it before buying 😞
@@EisteeMango I bought AFUL Performer5 and I very happy with it. The sound is great, but the most important it is very comfortable. There is a new version AFUL Performer8 and I was considering an upgrade, but what I read it is not not worthy it if I already have 5th.

I like your editing and videos and I understand your type of tuning. Because of your library and volume. Just wish that reviewers did a review saying ..example,, an iem review, saying 5 stars with k.pop. 4 stars with Metal at 60db volume and 5 stars with metal with volumes over 80db. That's why we never agree with reviewers because we may listen to different music ans different volumes. For me example I listen to music over 85db, metal. All metal guys listen to music at loud volumes. My father listen at 60db jazz what is like he hates and vice verse, because metal at 85db requires upper mids and treble to be tamed because there is no air flow like the bass impact. Then all people would know what to buy for sure. Because volume affects a lot. I tried to lower the volume. And for each 5db volume I went down,I increased the upper mids and treble. By 1db. Simple

I have it and kinda lava as well. Those are my most expensive sets andlove them both dearly. Mahina is for rap and lava for metal.
For me anyways.
The Mahina also sounded more "coherent" than the EQed IE300
I'm guessing that going from tribrid to tribid would be a lot more "snap on". But I don't have another pair. If you have a Qudelix 5k, which is about 130 bucks, you could do this experiment.
@@ItsJustChasewould you say better than The UP for rap and edm ?
THX!
Hey brother, just gonna ask which between the two would you pick salnotes zero or tangzu waner? Thanks for the very informative video
same question
@Gizaudio - I am regular viewer of you. I love your explanation. I need a suggestion from you. Which should I purchase between 7Hz Timeless and Moondrop Kato? Can you please suggest whenever possible? If you please suggest one of them then that help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello. Regardless of price, which headphone is better: the new Tangzu hbb or the Aful Performer 5?
hey just got the anole vx from musicteck and I would like to know if you use any of the switches.
What's the name of the music at the end?
Upon owning Kato and Aria already, is the tangzu wan er/quark dsp a good choice if i'd like to experience something more different in terms of sound signature? Or it would be too insignificant of a change to notice anything? Or would something like the kato still outshine the perks of those mentioned iems that it would straight up be pointless to try? Kinda new to this.
Got kato for my first iem as well but it's damn fun to explore the budget range iem. Im really hooked with my hexa lately
No
Quarks DSP has very fun bass, separation from bass to upper mid is darn good but my only nitpicks is the vocals, vocals have a bad resolution. Im still not good in reading fr but i think Quarks DSP lacks air.
There is zero reason to downgrade like that, eq your iem to experience
Can some one share the artist and the song of the outro please? Shazam don't recognize it and have a hard time trying to identify the asian vocals... :(
I'm Japanese and I liked this outro, but the lyrics didn't catch me anywhere, so it might be from SoundCloud.
IER Z1R is still better than Fatfreq Maestro for bassheads?
If you try the OH5 Asgard, I think you'll change your opinion!
Watch someone unexpected launch a under $10 monarch mk2 killer
1 earphones was Sennheiser CX 180 just $7 blows away quarks DSP or 7hz zero or those mk2 monark variations etc
Out of stock
Let's see what Moondrop CHU Jiu DSP does
The resolution is very good, even comes with a storage box. It is definitely worth a try!
I bought my Quarks DSPs for around 9 Usd here in the Philippines
Do you experience noise floor?
Imo cadenza deserves the under 50 spot!
I miss you in the fragrance community 😅
Sorry, but the Kiwi Ears Cadenza can’t be touched in the under $100 range much less the $50 range. Can’t believe they can make an IEM for $35 that sounds that good.
And what are the best iem for Gaming?
Why Penon serial is not in this list ? Just curious.
Hi, is it worth it to upgrade to moondrop dusk blessing 2 from tangzu heyday?
What do you think of Anole VX vs Traillii? I'm thinking of going from VX to Traillii. Thanks!
Another amazing Video (:
which dac will you suggest for wanner sg
You say the water could replace the hexa, are they that close ? ignoring price, Do you prefer wanner over hexa ?
What you will recommended iem for guitarist for budget $50
Time to blindfold you and rate worst IEMs at each price bracket
Oh no
😂😂😂
So you recommend the Performer 5’a for the 200-300 range but you like the 7Hz Timeless more? Based on description
hexa or olina se ?
I would choose olina, but hexa is crazy good too
What's the best alternative to Hexa? Moondr Aria/ tripowin Olina or something cheaper?
Thank you!
Could anybody compare the bass-heads killer Sony IER Z1R by the reviewer with CA Dorado (which is a base-head endgame for me)?
Personally i think 7hz zero is the best under 59$
I also wanted to mention this! Very much agreed!
is the aful performer 5 a considerable upgrade from the tangzu heyday?
You really need to get the iKKO Asgard OH5 in for review!
He reviewed it somewhere in this video: ruclips.net/video/7JsySHVfEvo/видео.html
Basically, he didn't like the tuning.
He has, first impressions in his video entitled 'Hexa'
@@prozekutor I’ll take a look…..
Watched the video. He’s dead wrong about them.
can you please recommend me the best IEM with some good bass , clear sound quality and decent enough vocals . I usually listen to Hip-pop, pop, and bollywood songs. I have 5 options : 7hz Salnotes zero, Tangzu Wan'er, KZN ZSN PRO X ,qkz x hbb and Simgot EW100 DSP
I think Blon03 are the ones for you
Will you do the review of the Kz Zs10 Pro X ?
How did it turn out?
@@EisteeMango I bought AFUL Performer5 and I very happy with it. The sound is great, but the most important it is very comfortable. There is a new version AFUL Performer8 and I was considering an upgrade, but what I read it is not not worthy it if I already have 5th.
Under 100 to 200 are change rapidly and myself cant keep up anymore. Hexa is the most interesting for me right now but it may another that better come along soon, we’ll see in next 6 months
By 1db. Simple
S12 Pro vs Fiio fh3 Which one should I buy
can you give me recommendation for orchestra music? on 100-300 budget bracket.
Hello audiophile community may i ask wat is ur recommendations my budget is 60$ or 80$ my focus is high resolution if possible natural sound, 7hrt salnotes zero the only i have
Red zero
