This a great video especially for those just starting out like me who just got into IEMs last quarter of 2022 when a lot of budget $20 to $100 IEMs were coming out almost every week. Been jumping on the Hype train since I got the Moondrop Chu and Kato, 7hz Dioko, TinHifi C2, Truthear Zero and Hexa, just to try out different Signatures so I can find out what I like. I depend on reviewers like you, Crinacle, Super Review and Hawaii Bad Boy to help me decide what the next IEM to get.

Speaking of EQ, I just want to share that firmware updates to the Qudelix 5K have doubled the frequency bands possible from 10 to 20 bands of parametric or graphic EQ… OR you can have two 10 band channels so you can separately equalize for differences in left and right ears and/or inconsistencies between left and right drivers
Tip 2.2: just buy planar iem, they can be EQ'd to any preference without loosing overall sound quality! I absolutely love my s12 with EQ and third party ear tips.
Hello, I hope someone can help me out here. I have a pair of UE 11 Pros with a sensitivity of 119 dB. I don't know what that means, but it works well with my Sony NW-A306. I recently purchased a Mytek Liberty DAC for my normal system and experience a very loud hissing when I plug the IEMs in. I know this has to do with the sensitivity of the IEMs, but what number should I have been looking at in the Mytek to know that this would occur? Furthermore, is there any way to fix this, get some sort of accessory that will allow the 11s to match well with the normal headphone out of the Mytek?
Good talk, Timmy. I also prefer to have a set of 4 or 5 reviewers to check up on. Not because I agree all the time but I learn their taste in equipment and how they prefer their sound. I am mostly bound to my house and do all my purchase as blind buys. This is a great combo for listening to your voice and the background music but with another combo I can also obtain a nice sound and sometimes even better. Quick Q: Since Dunu SA6 Ultra isn't around anymore, any IEM recommendation/alternatives that's quite similar to it? Something that's clear and pretty warm sounding that could be good for both vocals and instrumentals?
The OG SA6 isn't that far off from the Ultra tbh
@@ganshengkai7060 - Wait.. Dunu SA6 MK2? Can you point me towards where I can read about it? Thank you!
These infos are great for many, while bother to some (mostly the “upgrade” part lol)
My commu now have to censor these kind of videos. So they can sell more “snake oil” stuffs and I have no power to stop newcomer to get baited, sadly.
keep up the good video timmy.
Did they censor my video??
@@Gizaudio Kind of. Days ago, Newcomer post the questions, I replied but forget to post your Video Link so I edited and include your Video link. It's on reviewing for Commu mod, but never got out, it's still at "Pending" staus up til now. A sad truth.
My Gf says insertion depth is vital 😊
*Thanks for the video, help a lot*
bought the saltnotes zero and put spinfit cp100 tips on them, now I think I can stay with them and try to see if I can eq them to harman freq to see if I like it better
lol I tuned my m40x to the HE-1 and I actually liked it the most compared to harman or IEF tuning
now that was interesting
I should consider eq, ill jiat use the data ase from the qudelix 5k. Hopefully they have the fatfreq maestro se on there
I see Galileo, I click

Just wanted to ask which one is better/recommended, Quarks DSP or og Quarks + autoeq? or just buy the Tangzu Wan'er?
DSP wins
