1 tip, if you already used to Spinfit and wanted to try Azla Xelastec, DO NOT PUSH YOUR IEM TOO DEEP. Azla Xelastec is designed to just somewhat 'hang' on your ear, contrary to Spinfit which could be pushed deeply inside
@@michaelp.3485 It's the most secure one for me, it's the one i use the most on my TWS when I jog, and yes they do fit on wide bore tips like Dusks, but for stiff eartips like AZLA you need to finesse it a bit. We can enhance the performance of the original ear tips that come with the IEMs through a simple tweak, eliminating the need for expensive replacements. I utilized a small strip of Blu Tack, wrapping it around both bores/tubes of my IEMs behind the silicone ear tips' flaps. To ensure effectiveness, I straightened the flaps attached to the tubes before wrapping the Blu Tack strip and then covered the flaps back. This tweak imparted the IEM with a combined sonic character of both silicone tips and foam tips. The results were noticeable - passive noise isolation improved by nearly 70%, the bass and sub-bass became tighter and more controlled, the treble revealed more details, vocals gained a crisper quality, and the soundstage exhibited an extension. This tweak worked remarkably well for IEMs using only a single BA driver, such as FIIO FA1 and other budget IEMs like those from KZ, CCA, and TRN. You can experiment with different impacts by applying half or full-filled strips of Blu Tack on various shapes and sizes of ear tips' holes/bores. My favorite improvement is achieved by wrapping a half-filled Blu Tack on round-shaped and large hole/bore tips. Feel free to explore and innovate, as there's nothing to lose.

JVC spiral dots are my preferred for Blon Bl-03’s, if you don’t like the warm sound then the wide bore adds a little sparkle to them and tames the bass a bit
Just got the Spiral Dot ++ for my U12t. I had emailed 64Audio a few days ago because the stock tips slid right down where the nozzle was at the end of the tip and it didn't look right but they said that was intended to get the Tia drivers as far down the ears as possible so that the high frequencies are completely bypassing any effects that the tips would have.
@@jafizzle95 that is a very good point they made to you. When the tip of the eartip isn't close to flush with the tip of the nozzle, there is more high frequency wave cancellation inside the iem before the sound even gets to your ear canal.

Yes, this is older, but the last 5 months have been quite a learning experience. I have successfully tip rolled all of my iems, the toughest one being the ytao flagship because of some harshness in the 6-8k hz. Some of the eartips I am currently using are final original and final e type, azla xelastics, spinfit 145s I think and a number of silicone tips included in the purchases of the iems. Tip rolling takes quite a while, but it's best to tip roll after your iem has been burned in!

@@dragonousbrokenus69420 most probably don’t that much if at all but from what he makes it sound like the xelastec ones have a shorter and thinner inner tube which makes your iem have slightly more bass and less treble which would be a good match i think
How can you compare CP100 and Moondrop Spring ??? )) Their exit holes differ almost twice. If on my Mangird Tea2 Springs are almost perfect in terms of treble, then with SP100 they will not be at all. According to different earphones, tasks - we choose nozzles. All this can be understood - only by trying everything.
I have so.......many eartips in my collection. Some Stock tips itself and 3rd party brands. In term of Silicon eartips, I really really like Xelastec, The fit, the seal and sound are awesome. But it cost are not cheap either, have to use it carefully and clean it proper everytime I use it. Type E is another my favorite, it soft and provide pretty nice comfort. But the nozzle is pretty soft, it will wider if use it with IEM that have big nozzle. Not in the video though but JVC Spiral Dot is the interesting eartip as well. But I wont recommend the OG Spiral Dots because silicon texture are rough and pretty hard to human ear. But for Spiral Dots++ is much softer and feel pretty nice to the ears, but also the ++ version are not cheap and come only 2 pairs per box.
I've tried the older Spiral dots and I actually liked liked them a lot. But yes, ears would get itchy after a while. I'll have to try the newer ones. Thanks for watching!
its odd to me that manufacturers don't show the diameter of the opening at the tip of the eartip (narrow, medium or wide tip end). As far as I can tell, that affects perceived sound more than any other factor. The second biggest factor is how far the eartip tip situates into the ear canal... the further, the more clean treble. Final E are very narrow, CP145 I'm going to order but seem normally narrow... It looks like the Xelastec is med/wide, and Spring look fully wide. I cannot tell from the video whether the opening of the W1 is more medium than narrow. Can you tell what it is? Another attribute that might affect sound, but I'm not sure about it, is the thickness or density of the exterior of the eartips (not the center/bore). I suspect that a very thin exterior would not transmit bass as well.
you cant really say that tips do X. because they wont for all iems, cp100 made the aria crispy and lively, yet its ruined almost any other iem ive put it on. the 145 has made some iems sound like a larger note weight and nothing on others, some have been muffled. the most consistent tips ive tried have been foam especially the new tin blue foams, love those one thing ive found kind of anecdotally is a small bore makes things more nasal, and a soft bore material allows some super bass where if its a stiffer material itll treble boost
Dude great video! I’m new to the IEM game and got moondrop star fields but the way you put this together explained it all and doing the top 10 last was great! Also really dig the music choice as well, very chill loved it!
I am not convinced by the W design of the Spinfit brand, I tested them on Sennheiser IE 300, their W shape causes poor support due to the slight offset, the Azla Sedna seem closer to the original
Having quite shallow ears and narrow ear canals it is very rare that I find IEM’s that fit. In fact, I’ve pretty much given up looking at IEM’s. Not sure if you know of any tips that are suitable.
I never know how to choose the bore size. 😢 bought the truthear red and they have wide and narrow bore sizes. Why? Haha I just want to hear the way the creator intended, I'm just very easily confused by too many options (2 in this case).😂
Great review! I tried a lot of these tips. Stuck with a few of them for some time, too. But the ones that really worked for me were unbranded triple flange silicone tips I found on Amazon for my U12T set.
I tried the triple flange MEE Audio tips for the U12t but the tips are too long and it sounded like listening to the IEMs down a hallway. But if you like it then pay me no mind. The tips I finally found that were perfect were the JVC Spiral Dots ++ because they allow the very end of the IEM nozzle to get flush with the end of the IEM tips, which is how 64Audio told me was the intended way. Based on what they said, it's to get the Tia drivers as far down the ear as possible with zero interference from the tip itself. It pretty much completely bypasses the "dots" that give the Spiral Dots their name but they were the only tips (that I had on hand) that allowed the IEM to slide down that far. Except obviously the stock tips but I am between sizes on the stock tips and the JVC have a slightly more rigid material that seals better.
@jafizzle95 I trimmed the length of the shaft to what I needed it to be to get the tips as close to the opening as possible. The flanges provide the best seal for my ear canals than any other tips do.
my favourite is azla sednaearfit max, seals the best but the spinfit cp155 is more comfortable. also, the spinfit eartips for the samsung galaxy buds pro sucks, good thing is that i can still use their adapters for the alza earfit max :)
For me, it's about having something that will provide a barrier between the lip and my ear, as well as I suppose an effective articulating joint. I haven't tried the SpinFit's yet. Will they provide sufficient protection from the lip?
Don't know if there is any problem with my ears, but when I attach W1 to Moondrop Aria and Ikko OH10, the IEM housings cannot go deep into my ear and they are like half inside, half outside, making them uncomfortable and easy to fall off.
The moondrop spring tips took out all of the bass in my Katos and made them unbearable for me. The spinfit CP100’s fixed that and brought the bass back and now I love them. Crazy how the tips change the sound that much for me
This is a good video, but it's not exactly what I was looking for originally... To explain what I mean, I'll say this, I've bought cheap in ear earphones, and got them with both black and white tips, and for whatever reason I preferred the thicker white ones over the thin disposable looking black ones. Why, did the white sound better? No, but they FELT better, or perhaps more comfortable is a better way to describe it, although it's truly hard to put how they feel compared to the black ones, into words... Also, by white and black I mean the frosted white color seen here and the standard black "cheap" tip included in most$5-$20 earphones... What I'd like to know though, is how to go about judging the quality of included IEM tips, as I'm looking at trying out a set of IEMs, and specifically looking at the "Truthear x Crinnacle Zero Red" IEMs, as they're relatively cheap, at around 55$, while being tuned and designed in conjunction with Crinnacle...(cheap yet good quality)
For me, it's Final Es all day. Why? They're the only ones that actually stay in my ear lol. I wish spinfits or azla sednas (any of them) stayed put but they just don't.
If anyone could help me with this issue - I have new iem’s and am new to the iem scene. The left ear is fine but my right ear is uncomfortable to the point where it hurts to have on the ear tip. What type of ear tips would you recommend? I’m trying to find something a little softer that’s made of silicone

@@dragonousbrokenus69420 most probably don’t that much if at all but from what he makes it sound like the xelastec ones have a shorter and thinner inner tube which makes your iem have slightly more bass and less treble which would be a good match i think
Interested to know more about the Talos tips as well
Me too! Timmy said they're great so I'm going to try and pick those up. Thanks for watching!
CP 100+ FTW. Great video.
Thanks for watching!
I use the 1025 . For my ears they fit amazing
its odd to me that manufacturers don't show the diameter of the opening at the tip of the eartip (narrow, medium or wide tip end).
The markup on these tips insane…
Insane. They cost what? Pennies to make. Sell 20x value😂
@@SaL-mh9vh2000x more like
it's really strange when tiny eartip costs more than big and good quality full-size headphone's pads
you cant really say that tips do X. because they wont for all iems, cp100 made the aria crispy and lively, yet its ruined almost any other iem ive put it on. the 145 has made some iems sound like a larger note weight and nothing on others, some have been muffled.
the most consistent tips ive tried have been foam especially the new tin blue foams, love those
one thing ive found kind of anecdotally is a small bore makes things more nasal, and a soft bore material allows some super bass where if its a stiffer material itll treble boost
I've always used Comply foam type tips on my Shure 315's? Are these a bit old school now? Superb isolation, and secure fit.
Nope sir, aside from durability, i also agree foam tips is the best
I hear the Dunu S&S sounds very similar to the Spinfit W1, but is cheaper. Is that right?
Yes
Personally foam tips for me especially the ones from Tin Hifi if anyone knows a tip that seal as good as and is as soft if not more please tell me.
@o.o Haven't tried those yet so far I have tried 5 brand's but none wear good enough only one came close but it has that sticky feel.
You might also enjoy the JVC Spiral Dot tips. My second favorite next to the amazing W1.
Dude great video! I’m new to the IEM game and got moondrop star fields but the way you put this together explained it all and doing the top 10 last was great! Also really dig the music choice as well, very chill loved it!
Top tips not 10*
Great review thanks for the advice
Thanks for watching!
Id like to see review of the Topping DX3Pro+ reasonable priced all in one device for home use.
Great video, very informative for a novice like myself. Thank you so much!!!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
excellent video and a question which would be the ideal ones for the blessing 2 twilight, thank you for your attention
I really needed this! LUV YA!!!
Thanks for watching!
Hi, which ear tip is best for CCA PLA 13 IEM.
I use medium size ear tips which come out of the box with CCA PLA 13 IEM.
I'm very hit or miss on the spring tips
im trying to W1s' currently, and yes they are very comfatable but they also slide out my ears really fast
What audio player do you have in this video @13:19
My favourite eartips is always SpiralDots
Mine are ones that fit my ears
the W1 are still you favorites one year later ?
Awesome advice on ear tips to help me explore other options.
I never know how to choose the bore size. 😢 bought the truthear red and they have wide and narrow bore sizes. Why? Haha I just want to hear the way the creator intended, I'm just very easily confused by too many options (2 in this case).😂
I have CP14 fives and they keep coming off the bloody earbuds they're driving me nuts how do I amend this?
you should talk more specifically about the sound signature
Hi, the Xelastecs look a lot like the Dunu S&S. Any idea if they perform similarly? Thanks.
my favourite is azla sednaearfit max, seals the best but the spinfit cp155 is more comfortable.
also, the spinfit eartips for the samsung galaxy buds pro sucks, good thing is that i can still use their adapters for the alza earfit max :)
Yeah, the adapters are handy for sure. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks for your recommendations. I am going to buy my ear tips now.
Thanks for the tips!
Lol, thanks for watching!
Which ear tips are you using with the ie600/900? I'm assuming you don't use the stock tips
Hello - which cable/right-angle jack are those on the left at 16:14 ? Thanks!
For me, it's about having something that will provide a barrier between the lip and my ear, as well as I suppose an effective articulating joint. I haven't tried the SpinFit's yet. Will they provide sufficient protection from the lip?
Great video Thank you! Love the little dog
I think I'm using this one because i thought this one good reduce noice while listening to ingame sound, BGM and etc @5:57
Don't know if there is any problem with my ears, but when I attach W1 to Moondrop Aria and Ikko OH10, the IEM housings cannot go deep into my ear and they are like half inside, half outside, making them uncomfortable and easy to fall off.
Love this topic. Great video. Well done and informative.
I'm trying the TRI clarion tips, very wider bore (renamed by a friend "not a virgin") and I like how they're destroying my favorite warm iems!
The moondrop spring tips took out all of the bass in my Katos and made them unbearable for me. The spinfit CP100’s fixed that and brought the bass back and now I love them. Crazy how the tips change the sound that much for me
I liked the video! I would like to ask if I buy the W1 will it fit on a Samsung buds 2 pro? Could someone tell me? Also include azla xelastec Thanks ❤
Which would be the best for noise cancellation?
the diameter of the holder on 155 larger than 500? I tried 500 for Variations and the holder part slightly covers 2 of the 3 holes on nozzle
If anyone could help me with this issue - I have new iem’s and am new to the iem scene. The left ear is fine but my right ear is uncomfortable to the point where it hurts to have on the ear tip. What type of ear tips would you recommend? I’m trying to find something a little softer that’s made of silicone
Would the Final Audio Type Es work with a 6mm nozzle like the EM6L or are they a bit too small?
Sir, does cp145 suit for moondrop aria 2..?
I use Spinfit CP145, it's really a bang for the bucks. fits and seals easily because its patented design.
masnya orang Indo? saya mau nanya mas, iem saya kan cca cra, nah saya pengen beli cp145, karena udah gakuat ama sakitnya make eartips bawaan cra. Nah hal yg ingin saya tanyakan, eartips bawaan cra saya ini ukurannya S alias paling kecil itu udah pas bgt ditelinga, nah kalau yg c145 itu size S nya sama tidak bang ukurannya dengan cra bawaan saya? Terima kasih.
@@kurochiieee5206 Diameter Spinfit CP145: S 11.5mm, M 12.5mm, L 13.5mm. kelihatannya sepele 1mm bedanya tapi ngefek ke seal dan nyaman/gaknya. kuping saya nyaman di sekitar 12mm.. jadi coba cek ukuran tiap merk, misal 12mm kalau di Moondrop Spring Tips, itu ukuran L. bisa beda tiap merk. jadi ukur aja S nya CCA CRA itu diameternya berapa, terus coba cek Spinfit ukuran berapa yang pas.
@@marhensa baik mas, terima kasih banyak, sangat membantu🙏
Can you recommend eartips for my s12 pro. I sometimes find it too bright and wanna tame the treble a bit. Thanks
Hi. What kind of ear pads do you use with s12 pro now?
Azla sedna lights seem to be one of my favorites. Also love spinfits cp145
Can you recommend silicon tips with the least isolation for se846(i also use them for casual listening while driving/running/calls etc, so i need ambient sound)
What cable is that of that green headphone?
I wonder how the JVC Spiral Dots would place here.
Dave needs to come around much more !!
Lol! Thanks! And thanks for watching!
I play live music and need good sound isolation. The tips with the kimera gumiho celeste iems do not seal off and let way to much ambient house noise in. Which of these tips do you recommend that will fit these??
What about moondrop's UC TIPS?
Thank you so much for your recommendations. My IEMs used to slip away all the time, NOT ANYMORE !! just bought the W1 and it's amazing. 20€ to greatly improve the listening expreience of 1K€ IEMs is a sweet sweet deal.
Anyone tried Comply Oval series? My ear canals definitely seem more oval shaped than round.
So I just bought the Galaxy buds 2 pro. And I hate the stock ear tips. The silicone is wayyyy too soft for me and don't provide a secure fit for me at a L size. What can you recommend?!?! 🤔
That'll fit into the case and close it w no issues. Help ! 🙏🙏🙏
I put different tips on them lol. I use the dunu s&s but the issue is, it can't fit back into the charging case without taking the dunu tips off.
- Timmy
@Gizaudio aww man. Almost had one there.
What about using a rubber band on case?
Question see if you know, I ordered the spin fit 360 which say 4.5-5.5mm they wouldn’t fit on my BW Pi7s… I just ordered the W1
Which say 5-6mm.
Maybe I’ll check out the Moondrop2 or spring tips in the future. Do the moon drop 2s have a large boar size as well?
i like IEMs but it's idk why but most tips that came stock just feels something off in my ears, like often it will itch and just makes me can't put it on for long, and not to mentioned how oily it gets when i put them for awhile and i do clean my ears daily....
Which one beeter for my OnePlus Bullets wireless Z2?
I could only find the Spinfit W1 in packs with s/m/l rather then just the size for ones choosing, can anyone point me to packs that are size specific?
I wonder what would you recommend for the og Thieaudio Oracle😊🙋♂️
If CP100 didn't do proper seal. Did you try bigger size ?
Olá amigo! Muito interessante seu vídeo. E quanto às ponteiras de memória? Você nunca testou? Estou usando as que acompanham o KZ-D-Fi e estou gostando, principalmente do isolamento.
How often do you (or I should) change the ear tips?
