I'm glad Phoebe came round and became friends with Mona
I'm glad Phoebe made that speech about Mona
Langley's voice is so distingushed.
I always loved Langley and Phoebe Wallingford!😘
@@triciajohansen9295 me too especially Langley
@@marcusweaver3489 agree, he always kept Phoebe in line when she needed it in a very loving way.
@@triciajohansen9295 yes Langley the husband anyone with common sense would want
@@marcusweaver3489 considering he came to Pine Valley as a con man.😎
Kendall is so self righteous. She is the one really responsible for such evilness, pain, suffering and even blood shed. It is not an excuse she was hurt. Can you imagine how many hurt people would cause such physical and emotional pain if they acted like Kendall's character.
I understand Kendall being angry, but she directed that anger at the wrong person. Erica didn’t deserve her anger or revenge.
I loved the mirror scene with "3 generations of Kane women ... isn't that remarkable."
No wonder Phoebe's hailed by fans and experts alike as a classic AMC character...even in her biggest detractor's death does the woman poise much sophistication to even nearly throw herself atop her nearby coffin. The writing team's class, combined with Ruth's elegant diction, illustrated just precisely one of many reasons why AMC continues as a TV success/icon.
@@buzzyuncle340 She was a character. Her interaction with Benny Sago was comical especially when she overstepped her boundaries and got a tongue lashing from Benny.
@@RaymondHng I also liked it when Benny used to call her "Duchess".😎
@@triciajohansen9295Could not find any videos of the original Benny Sago portrayed by Larry Fleischman. Vasili Bogazianos was the second one. ruclips.net/video/chPXIU0CXlo/видео.html
i miss their relationship! it was so real! erica treated her mama so badly--it was hilarious! but, her mama was always there for her because she knew she really needed her anyway.
There sure were a lot of reincarnations for Phoebe English Tyler Wallingford over time and Warrick played them all with relish. Whether she was malevolent, snobbish, intrusive, comedic, drunk, snobbish or matronly and maternal, she made these transitions so credible, so seamlessly that one stopped wondering if they were really character or plot driven in the first place. Her performance was so damn consistent, it made it all seem almost an inevitable pathway.
Very classy dame. Always liked Phoebe, even when she could be bitchy!😎 Good for you, Phoebe, for showing such class and grace.
I just watched it again, and the look of almost sheer grief in Phoebe's eyes seemed to say to me that this was also Ruth Warrick's grief. The Pine Valley Five: Ray McDonnell, Mary Fickett, Ruth Warrick, Susan Lucci and Frances Helfin. 20 years of working together created an indelible friendship that was broken only by death. Now it's down to Susan and Ray.
@@ErickGainesSanders yes, I quite agree. I think this was a way for Ruth Warrick to let out some of her grief as well.😥
agree. Phoebe was so classy and graceful here. It reminds me of how sickening that party was where several Pine Valley people back in September/2010 cheered at David's "demise". THIS is how you honor someone who you disliked. That group should've seen what Phoebe did
Mona and Dr Tyler was a good couple
1:16 Christopher Lawford (Charlie Brent) passed away in September 2018 at age 63.
So many reincarnations for that Phoebe English Tyler Wallingford depending on the plot and her role, whether comedic , malevolent, or maternal as often driven by convenience for the plot as the character . The same actress made them all work without a single hitch or insincere moment, regardless of whether they were logical or not. What she was required to be, was not consistent, but her performance always made it credible and infinitely believable. It sure seemed consistent when the show aired.
Kendall and Erica are wearing simlar Dresses
I not getting any sound on you tube
