Same... I tried for 6 months. Just called it quits last weekend. Fxxk it. I'm to seasoned to be stuck with someone who put my life and someone else's life at risk. For almost a year.. I'm good. I will miss him as a person, but when someone cheats on you, alot of times the other person's insecurities become a problem. I have 2 kids but none with him. It hurts my daughter but she will know you don't stay with someone you aren't happy with...

I stayed with a guy who cheated on me more than once. But it was an emotionally abusive relationship. I was manipulated and talked down to think I had to stay because who would even want me? When we split I got so overwhelmed because all of a sudden i was free everything in my life no longer was controlled and I was in that relationship like 3 years and we almost got married. I ended up in hospital care for mental health because of it. By the way if you have been in abusive relationship and now you're free, YOU GO! if you have yet to be free, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! My dad cheated on my mum years ago, we even have a stepbrother. I couldn’t understand why she stayed but we talk about it now more and she says she stayed because prior to that they had 15 very good years.. she gave him the choice at the time leave for good or stay and work through things and he chose to stay.. I’ve seen them fall back in love with each other over the years and I can understand why she chose that journey.

I was shamed for having one child by my close minded relatives, strangers, & acquaintances...There are so many different types of people in the world, people are bound to have different perspectives. Imagine how many of those unintentional hurtful words has been spoken by “well intention- nosy people” towards women in infertility, and women who decided to not have children even without infertility.
I don’t let their words get me for long though, I stood up for myself respectfully and move forward with my life.
Those lonely days & nights when you’re sick but responsibilities as a parent doesn’t stop.
I’d rather be that parent who has full support mentally & physically to my small family...than having multiple children that I can’t imagine...There’s higher chance that I’d struggle to focus, and be impatient easily, becoming mentally unhealthy parent that yell at children or spouse.
We are in control of how we use our female bodies, at the end of the day the decision is up to us. Best wishes to all the parents out there ✊

Yeah... even with mental health care we have in this century, you would think that more & more people are becoming better at dealing with confrontation & talk about their feelings more (with respect of course). But nop... As imperfect humans we have a lot to learn and practice, any communications take days, months, and years of practice. Constant effort, never easy. Hope with more education on self regulation, boundaries & consent (everything related to EQ). From both parents & school systems, we will raise better men & women in the future.

Loni is mature she knows how to put herself in someone else's shoes, it makes her realistic. Garcelle has some tough experience but still manage to come out of them beautiful sweet and warm, which gives hope and courage to everyone. Geanie is tough and strict but will be loyal if it's worth the time, she is also realistic. Adrienne will take all these into perspective which will help her to deal with situations in life, she is also very selfless when she loves anyone and will not be afraid to show her love to them, she is more mature than people may think.
I stayed with a serial cheater. Biggest mistake ever. I loved him and wanted to work things out. He made cheating a lifestyle until it destroyed me in every way. I wouldn't do it again.

I tried to say because I loved him (and this wasn't even a physical cheat, it was emotional (phone and email long distance). And the betrayal was so final it was hard to accept that everything I was in love with and so proud of having was over just like that! I tried for years but like Garcelle said overtime I saw how much it changed my personality and my spirit. Eventually the relationship dissolved. I became mean. He couldn't do anything right. The trust is gone. Sex didn't feel right anymore. We lost everything... It was all his fault and I hate him for it still. So reckless... What I hate most is that the love is still there. I just don't want what we are now. I felt a slight happy spark when Garcelle said some women have said they stayed in their marriage and it's better today. Then that was totally shot down when Adrian said "well what else are they gonna say!?!" Good point Adrian. I have to stay strong and finish filing for this divorce. He said he'll fight for me and that's flattering and all but I'm not using this divorce as way to remarry. I'm accepting it's over. Ngl guys when I first met my boyfriend we were talking for 3 months and I cheated on him... my biggest regret and most stupid thing I’ve ever done. He eventually forgave me and it took us about a yr to completely heal and grow from it. We have the most trustful, bonded, and loving relationship I’ve ever had. I am here to say its very possible to have a loyal relationship with someone who messes up and cheats!

I’m that woman that stayed even after my husband confessed. I have been dealing with awful and crazy emotions since I found out, but I will say that it definitely changed our marriage for the better. Now, if it were to happen again, am I going to stick around? Hell no! He messed up, he confessed, but that doesn’t mean he can mess up again and still have me as his wife. As far as being that crazy wife who wants to know and check everything, I was her before the affair. But after finding out about it, it taught me that no matter how much I keep tabs on my husband, he’s going to find a way to cheat if he really wants to, so it’s not worth my time to be watching his every move. So as for now, I’ve done my best to trust him and any little reason he gives me not to trust him again, I am OUT!! So far, he has been very respectful and honest to me since he confessed 2 years ago. Now we have had two beautiful children and he’s become an amazing life partner. Everything I ever wanted him to be. We got together at age 15 and now we’re 25. I was his 1st real relationship. I try to be understanding that becoming a husband and father at age 20 was not that easy for him and he screwed up big time, but the guilt ate him alive till he knew he had to confess. We are happy now and I only hope and pray that our lives continue on the way they have for the past 2 years.

A girl that I'm in a Facebook Teen Mom discussion group with told me that her husband cheated on her with a girl from their high school and got her pregnant with a baby girl. She was also pregnant with their third daughter when that happened. She did not leave him, she stayed, and she had another baby after the cheating, a boy. She has four kids and he has five. I thought that was a dumbass decision to stay with him. I didn't want to get kicked off the tm page so I kept my true opinion to myself. I told her I been cheated on too by two ex boyfriends, and I didn't stay like you, I left.

That's true.
I think people ultimately need to stop acting self-righteous and passing judgement on what someone is choosing to do if it is not affect them. Yes, some people marry, but choose to have one or no children. Some are not married and have kids. Yes, some people are more tolerant of cheating than others. We need to stop having society and other people dictate what is permissible for us to do with our bodies and relationships.
Am I the only one that sees cheating as attempted murder or manslaughter with all the mess that's going on in the world? 😅

I mean, I’m the result of the “one and done” mindset. Not necessarily by choice - my Mom was 39 when she had me and had too many miscarriages after, so my parents decided one was enough 💁🏽♀️. I did go through the phase of wanting siblings when I was younger, but now that I’m grown I definitely appreciate the privilege of being spoiled as an only child that I had growing up. Ultimately, like the hosts said; it’s that individual couple’s decision - they have to raise that child, not you. And hey - there’s already too many people on this planet - have you been in rush hour lately?! 😂
Same! Till I was about 9 I really wanted a baby sibling... but then we got a dog and I was like you know what I'm cool now haha! Now that I'm in my 20s I appreciate being an only child because it opened up opportunities I might not have had if I had siblings. Plus my parents, especially my mom, always made sure I was well socialised and never lonely.
I have 3 siblings...there are days I wish my parents decided to have just one. I guess both have advantages but the biggest for only children is that they can avoid all the dramas siblings can have...and I dont mean the innocent fights.
And I do agree there are way toooo many peopla on the planet...that is one of the reason why I dont want any kids at all. And if I had kids I think I would also just have one.

Garcelle is so right !!! Once you lose that trust and decide to stay, if it compromises your essence as an individual, it’s not worth it. I personally don’t wanna be that girl either. Always anxious about where he’s at, with who, how long he’s staying, is he home, what pictures he’s liking, etc. I’ve been there before and it is truly EXHAUSTING !!! You start feeling so insecure on top of being really anxious and start to lose yourself. And it’s really hard not to be like that when you feel like you have a reason to be. So I totally agree with you, Garcelle!
I have to admit, people always say 'if my man ever cheat on me, I would up and leave" ...honestly, its easier said than done. My husband has not cheated on me but if he did, would I really up and leave? No, I would give him a chance and he would suffer a year on his own before I take him back but you can't really play tough until you're in that person's shoes...especially when you have kids with him. I don't judge but if he cheats on you a second time, he didn't learn or respect you enough to not let it happen again.
My thoughts exactly! People judge without even going through it themselves. It’s hard to leave a partner that has not done anything bad, but do to a mistake they are seen as forever bad. I would punish my partner for 2 years if I had too, but saying I wouldn’t work through it is insane. I believe if they do it once and work on themselves it can be forgiven, but twice is twice too many.
Some people actually CAN say that and mean it. My cousins fiancé cheated on her and she left him. She always said she would if her man cheated and she meant that. She’s married now with a family of her own but I’ve always looked up to her and respected her for all of her advice on relationships. Her husband worships the ground she walks in and she treats him like a king. She knows what she deserves and she never puts up with the bs. He proposed to her after only 8 months of them dating. And I know for a fact if a man cheats on me then we are THROUGH! I know my worth and I won’t be with someone who can lay with someone else while proclaiming to love me. It’s even worse when they say it was a mistake and it didn’t mean anything....so you later with a woman who did mean anything to you? You risked it all for someone you don’t care for? Lol but some of y’all are okay with that 🤷🏾♀️

@@elim8792 I won’t argue with anyone on this matter because I’ve left people for the most simplest reason ever and of course sleeping with someone else that’s not me is crossing the line, but I won’t say I’ll leave my husband the man who I have children with and treats me like a queen if he ever cheated (of course I may or may not) I just can’t say I would because idk how I would react. I don’t judge people who do forgive a cheater because I don’t know if that’s the only mistake they have done in the relationship, some people do change.

Some are afraid to simply start all over again so they stay smh, others because they try to keep the family together. Walking away was is the best choice but definitely one of the hardest if you really did care. In the end it makes you stronger and much wiser💪
If they cheat on you, you’re not their person. They don’t think about you ever second of every day, you aren’t the apple of their eye. Not only is the connection not what you thought it was, it was so lacking that they not only sought attention from others, but had the desire to and acted upon opportunities to cheat.
Not necessarily true. I know many men who claim to love their wives, said she was dedicated but just cheated because the temptation was too strong and it was easy. Guilty and work to repair the marriage is involved and is currently happening. Was the person that cheated not thinking about their spouse or was their spouse not the apple of their eye in that moment??? Absolutely!!! But you would be amazed at how many people cheat on their significant other who is being nothing but a gem to them.

I some what disagree with Adrienne, because no reaction is not always an indication of the love lost in the relationship, it some time is just a numbing to hurt. My first and only infidelity(from what I know)happened during my teenage years with my first love of 14yrs...I stayed because i wasn't prepared to leave(financially & emotionally)I was working and going to school...But after i realized my value and graduated..I disappeared and left everything behind...Never returned...Started from scratch..Best decision ever made...Since than..Never again would i allow such behavior ..especially when my loyalty is being compromised...I suffered..I learned and i changed...Life goes on...🙏
I don't like the way Jeannie is talking about this. She shaming other women for staying. It depends on the situation. More than once then yes I agree you're pretty much tripping. But once? And maybe if they were drunk or something and it wasn't someone you were close to? I agree! I always side eye people who are so adamant in the fact that they would live if they get cheated on when they were never put in the situation. I used to be that person that said I would leave UNTIL I got cheated on, and trust me the decision is very hard to make when your heart and mind are at odds.
