I love that you not only do the moves, but you teach the root basics to the moves. Such as reviewing what I need to focus on when doing the downward dog. Love your videos & love your book! Thank you.
I have been trying to attempt this video for like almost a year and this morning was the first time I didn't want to give up and cry, because I DID IT! Hurray!
I get to do forearm stands at yoga class with the assistance of a teacher but it was my first time trying it out by myself with the help of your video. Fell down a couple of times but always worked my hardest to make it back up. Your videos are highly appreciated. x
thank you for this practice. it felt great and safe. and thanks to your guidance it was first time I was able to balance the forearm stand without wall. most of the teachers take it too fast, what I love about your classes is you take the time and I can really breath and not rush from pose to pose and than able to do poses correctly :)
I love that you include savasana in your yoga videos, so many other youtubers simply say 'and now enter savasana for as long as you'd like' and end video and it goes on to another video. The average person will not actually complete savasana, which as you know is so important. So, thank you !
Completed this for about the 5th time just now in my room with fairy lights and candles !! Feel so great and the best way to end the weekend and start a busy week of exams !! X
I started doing pilates in feb. of this yr and yoga caught my eye also and its just amazing how much yoga can make me feel so calm, so idk just amazingly beautiful!!! I love your videos you are awesome I have finally gotten the hang of doing the forearm pose even though its like 10 seconds but goodness I feel like I can do anything!!! ty soo much for these videos they have and will keep helping me
So it has been forever since I tried forearm stands last, because I never managed and kinda gave up, but watching you guidance helped so much, and I held for about 10 seconds!!! I think I've never focused on where my elbows are like this before, amazing! All your other videos are really great too by the way :)
This is such a great flow! I returned to this video for the third time, I cannot do forearm stand without a wall just yet. I am getting there though and your instructions are extremely helpful! Thank you so much Candace!
Great practice for the whole body. I really appreciate the forearm stand tutorial. I have been unsuccessfully trying to hold this pose for months. This was the best attempt to date. I will be practicing with this video many more times! Thanks so much!!!
I loved this video! I wasn't quite ready for a forearm stand so used that time and set up for practicing headstands and i actually got my very first full headstand! I'm super excited to start working on forearms stands with this video now! :)
+Kristina I Awesome, so proud of you for using the time to do what worked best for you, and soooo thrilled to hear you got into your very first headstand!!!!!
What a great video! I just love your channel, you make it fun and challenging for people of all levels. I really enjoyed the flow and it was super fun practicing with the arm balances at the end. I haven't quite been able to get up into forearm stand... but! Thanks to your little kick off/keep your legs in a V tip, I have been able to get up into headstand and can now take the full expression of that pose and hold it for quite a long time. Thank you for sharing your practice and knowledge! xo Kristine
great video Candace thank you so much! I feel more confident getting into a forearm stand in prayer position instead of the traditional way, thanks for that! Hopefully i'll be able to get into my forearm stand soon. x
I love this video (actually, I love all of your videos). I really like the fact that the video actually includes savasana, otherwise i get restless if the video ends before. You are awesome, Candace. Thank you.
Thank u so so much ! Best timing ever.. Working on my shoulder flexibility and forearm stand since some Time.. Ur sequence and ur tips just lead to my first stable stands !!
I held my forearm for only 1 breath but I am so happy . Thank you for all the good thinks you share with us.sorry for my english..... I follow you from Italy. Baci
So I'm super freaking excited because I haven't tried to get up into forearm stand in quite awhile, and I finally did it! I was able to hold it for a good breath or two! Then I got really excited about it, fell out of it, and couldn't get back in. Lol. But Yay!!! So glad I decided to do this video today (I was scrolling through the 30 min videos on your app and was like "mehhh might as well try this one")
I would love for you to make more of this kind of videos : a nice little muscle workout and a challenging yoga part that also include strenght work ! Loved it, thank you :)
Hi Candace ! Good class to practice a little more Forearm stand. Even if i feel more comfortable with my head on the mat ! Thanks for the class and for inspiring me ! Sorry for my english i need to improve it ! Kiss and love from France !
Hi Candace, when doing abs, I engaged a lot my neck (front and back) and it's tiring, how can I avoid this please ? Thank you so much. After a month, I managed the forearm stand against the wall, it's rewarding inward to come over my fear.
Hi Candace, I'm happy I found your channel, I can't stop practicing with you every time I want to practice, a few times a week. Where do I put my gaze on during the forearm stand please ? Also when doing crow pose, I have the tendency to go ahead and I'm afraid to fall ahead and break my wrists, and the fear stops me a bit from moving forward, how can I avoid going head please ? Thank you very much
For forearm stand - gaze between your arms down on the ground. This may be helpful in addressing fear: yogabycandace.com/blog/2017/3/29/confessions-of-a-yoga-teacher-the-one-pose-i-was-terrified-of. Here are tips for crow pose: yogabycandace.com/blog/common-mistakes-crow-pose. You can also check out my book Namaslay, which breaks down the poses easily: amzn.to/2pbOtmo
Thank you for this beautiful class! I managed to go into forearm stand but only through lifting my head in headstand and moving my hands into prayer. I cant yet push my feet from the ground into forearmstand. I cant do this to get into handstand as well. Only into headstand. Do you have any tips how i can improve this? Could it be that my feet need to be closer to my elbows, which means that i need to improve Dolphin pose? Have a beautiful day :)
Yes, keep working on dolphin pose with your feet closer to your elbows (this is flexibility through the hips and hamstrings, so hip opening work will be helpful too)
I loved this practice! Thank you! First time I tried a forearm stand, and I actually managed to stand a couple of seconds with my legs together :D But I'm wondering about something, I liked to stand with my hands flat on the ground, but my thumbs touching, so my forearms was shaped like an up-side letter V, is that OK? :)
As I was checking out this new video, my boyfriend heard "warrior 3" over, and he was like "that sounds like a video game". When I told him there were yoga poses called warrior 1-2-3, he said he would start doing yoga when Warrior 4 came out. He's such a nerd, hahaha. Is there a pose called warrior 4? I'd love him to do some yoga :) Really cool new video, gonna try it later today!
I didnt dare to do a forearm stand, but I did headstands instead :D I think I should feel confident in headstands before I attempt a forearm stand. Or it would be ok to practice both?
hey Candace! i was wondering... while i do the fo;rearm stand do i need to look stright forword? or maybe at my fingers? or just let my head down? thanks!
Forearm stand... 3... 2... 1... fail, but rolled out of it. I can do the headstand and I wanted to put my head down during this but my balance isn't the best. I can only split leg hop it for a few seconds.
+Colin Erskine Split leg is def the way to go. Just keep working with your legs like that and pushing the ground away from you with your forearms. Soon you'll get there.
I love that you not only do the moves, but you teach the root basics to the moves. Such as reviewing what I need to focus on when doing the downward dog. Love your videos & love your book! Thank you.
Thanks so much for the feedback and for checking out my book!!

I am really enjoying your videos. You explain the sequence so well that I do not even need to look up at the screen. You have a gift of communication.

Csilla Borián Hahaha, no I don't think there's a warrior 4! But three warriors should be enough to get him to try some yoga haha :)
I didnt dare to do a forearm stand, but I did headstands instead :D I think I should feel confident in headstands before I attempt a forearm stand. Or it would be ok to practice both?
+itsjulie pie Yeah I agree that headstand should be first. Once you feel really confident in headstand then you can give forearm stand a go. :)
hey Candace! i was wondering... while i do the fo;rearm stand do i need to look stright forword? or maybe at my fingers? or just let my head down? thanks!
+Adi Ben Tov Hey there! Look down at the ground, between your elbows.
good class
does forearm stand help leading to a hand stand (e.g. balance, core muscle, etc)?
terry shen It sure does! I always think of it as a progression - first headstand, then forearm stand, then hand stand. :)
Forearm stand... 3... 2... 1... fail, but rolled out of it. I can do the headstand and I wanted to put my head down during this but my balance isn't the best. I can only split leg hop it for a few seconds.

Hi Candace, any reason for day 22 video access restriction?
Oh no! Which video is it (we have a lot of 30 day programs)
