Let’s all take a moment to appreciate how clean that valley is.
I was waiting for you to break out the hammer!!!
Putting that return fuel line is nice and easy without the turbo and plentom but very hard to get the back one on.
I used a 1-1/8” extra deep socket from Home Depot for $19 to remove the IPR Valve
I love these 7.3 videos. Thanks brother
Thanks man
Can't get over how pretty this engine looks
Great job, I’ve been enjoying your 7.3 vids!! No more check valve with the riffraff lines? I’m still learning on my 7.3, I haven’t had it long. Just got a new upgraded fuel bowl from riffraff with many other parts.
I've been waiting all day for this Video. Can't wait to watch it!!!
Sorry buddy, had to finish before work and try upload while at work lol
Your videos are very helpful. Thank you for the links to riffraff.
Nice progress loving how all the lines are looking bro good video @FixItNick
That’s gonna be a sick truck.
Looking good!! Wow time flies when i watch the big girl vids, great content. Looking forward doing this to my F350 one day. 👍😉💪🏼
Thanks brother, got any questions hit me up on IG
@@FixItNick will do, thanks!!👍😉💪🏻
She's looking good 👍
Thanks man
A crescent wrench, really. Asking for trouble.
My gear wasn't lined up and only got 20 psi when turning it over.... thx
Awesome clean valley but why did you not put the check valves back in the pump fittings when you replaced them with the new oil lines?
Nice job man
Thx brother
FixItNick Hey Nick I bought the LED tail lights you recommended from amazon. After install they blink real fast right. What’s the deal, do I need front led blinkers to have it return to normal? Never messed around with led. Thanks in advance for your time Ken
Nice upgrade and rebuild on the pump nick @FixItNick
Its 29mm or 1-⅕ deep well with ½ to ⅜ combo. Leave combo a little bit out or half way into socket. It will work.. I also put a dot of loctite on tin nut. Food for thought. Damn that motor is clean. Looks great. Also I painted my oil cooler white so I can see if and when it leaks again. Also I filled reservoir up with oil when I did my T500. Motor popped/started right off..
BIG GUY IN A LITTLE COAT, just what came to mind when you started riding that bike.
Sweet man!
Thanks 👍
Lookin clean! Want to do mine next?
Yes can I??? When party lol
Bro that thumbnail looks like the truck is eating you! Still checking out the videos. I need to call Clay and order some more parts at RiffRaff.
Haha those thumbnails lol … ask for clay at RiffRaff, tell him fixitnick told him to take care of you lol
@@FixItNick yea, I talk to Clay now and then. He’s helped me a lot over the years. I’ll tell him I follow you as well and you gave him a referral. I always tag them on our Instagram when I do upgrades. I need to get my build photos over to him for the site.
Nice little 100cc pit bike
110!!! Lol
@@FixItNick oh did you say it was a 110 I guess I didn't hear that lol thought you said 100cc my bad
A couple pointers:
I had hard start issues when i swapped my HPOP lines and removed the check valves
The IPR size is a 1 1/8 extra deep socket if you want to pull it without pulling the HPOP
- the rebuild for the IPR is $20 and all you need to do is get some emery cloth to clean up the slide surface...make sure to fully disassemble and clean everything
The pedestal can also leak if you don't properly torque the pedestal to block bolts to 25ft/lbs and turbo to pedestal bolts to 40ft/lbs (ask me how I know)
Other than that, its looking good man
also, the keeper nut on the IPR is tightened in INCH pounds and is really easy to strip
Thanks bro
The IPR looks the same as the IAC valve on a 3126 cat engine. Food for thought
Great video Nick as always Broski @FixItNick
Thanks bro
Another good vlog, cannot wait for next one,Hows Betsy going?
Thanks bro. Hoping to fire up 7.3 on Friday vid if all goes well. Betsy was on pause for a min, gotta finish truck so we can actually use it for fam trips and dump runs lol
Love your videos. I just recently picked up a 2000 f350 and it's all stock and I am in process on doing upgrades to keep the engine running great and improve performance. Hey was wondering if u have a sponcer. ?? IM an amsoil dealer and I cant wait to put as amsoil diesel oil in my f350. I have amsoil in my f150 and all my powersport machine...
I bet Matthew cant wait to wear out that little bike, after you trick it out of course.
What ladder/step is that? Love the height and width of it. I've been using a 20 year old astic toddler step! Lol
I've seen other people swap the drivers side hpop so the 90* is on the head. See what that looks like.
Yea I’ll still have to confirm which fittings go on what head and to make sure correct lines match up, didn’t come with instructions, prob on RiffRaff site
Bikes, lawn mowers, Mustangs, 7.3s, it doesn't matter. FIXITNick. We will watch. But the 7.3 is epic.
Thanks bro, I honestly just wish I would do cars only, but life keeps coming at me from different angles haha
If it dies when choke is off could be a dirty jet in the carb
Gotta clean the carb for sure
Hey bud. Are those fuel lines on pressure/supply side? Cuz I got the FRX kit from clay. I love it. With 65psi spring. It quiet it down a bit. And starts quicker when you do filter change. Thankyou
Why did you reinstall the used pump? Not replace?
Used oil pump? Because there is no problems with it
Hold on! I'll go for my bowl of popcorn
Hope u enjoyed 👍
How about the water trap?
So you took out the check valves completely? No replacements?
I just want to know why you didn’t put the check valve spring back in? Does it make any difference?
You don’t need it with the new oil lines
When you take check balls out and springs. You dont need the crossover going from head to head. I mean. It won't hurt to have it. But can be another leak point. Js.
Hey Nick. I missed you putting the springs and check valves back in the first two fittings. Did you not film it or does this kit eliminate them ? Or did I just F'n miss it ? Stranger things have happened.
Yea you don’t need those spring valves with these fittings
@@FixItNick did the engine run right without the spring and check valves?
Still have that 4500+5000lb trailer? Trying to figure out what your smoking I have a 25 foot gooseneck that's 4500 empty
At how many miles did did you need to do fuel o rings?
breaking torque with a torque wrench. no no. dry o rings no no IPR socket 29 mm not adjustable. hold crank bolt to torque pump nut
Be careful with Riff Raff. It appears they reseal sensors in Motorcraft bags. Better off dealing with ProSource diesel. I always thought Riff Raff was a good company but they're kind of grimy. I'll never deal with Riff Raff again. ProSource diesels the way to go. What a nice clean truck you must be a total perfectionist. Beautiful job cleaning that old Beast up.
Frank Vacanti , Where did you get the info? I was going to order some stuff through them.
@@user-hd1ok5rr5v personal experience. Some of their stuff is all right. Twice I ordered two separate occasions ICP sensors and IPR valves both times the iprs appear to be counterfeit. Also I ordered a cam position sensor which was black. They all appear to be resealed Motorcraft bags it was not a clean seal
Did you replace the two springs?
Which springs?
with most aftermarket hpop lines you remove the springs from the system entirely.
Did he forget to put the springs back in?
You don’t need those spring valves when upgrading to these lines
@@FixItNick Did it effect the performance of the truck not putting the springs/check valve? To my understanding according to RIP diesel tech Ron, if the springs/check valve is't put back in the truck, the truck is going to drastically lack performance?
Did you have a discount code for riffraff?
No sorry, they don’t have any available at the moment I asked, they do sales often here and there
I would not put locktite on an ORB fitting. everything from oring in is in the hydraulic system. so no never sieze or sealant or locktite. thats my opinion. its too bad ford/international used such junk orings everywhere on the 7.3 . I dont think any of those fittings are metric as they are all based on SAE ORB
