RGB is the most important aspect of any PC
EXACTLY
Eapecially since they give more framerqt
Framerat
Fraemrate
Fps
That moment when a cable has its own cable
Lool 😂
Imagine the cable of the cable was RGB too
@@TH-bo9qp but how would you control it? You need *another* cable!
@@nathangamble125 cableception
More 😂 rgb = more fps
This is a great review - No crazy intro, overview, installation tips, and demo. Lots of information in between with a great delivery. I wish all reviews on RUclips were this good.
Thanks mate appreciate that!
Great video! You're among my favorite tech RUclipsrs now! I love the way you explain and show everything. Nice job! 👍
Hey, thanks man! 😁🤘
When i saw Lian Li show these off, i was stunned. i can really appreciate a company going the distance
very straightforward and explains everything needed. This is the first video I watch on your chanel and I hope the rest of your product reviews are as good. Great work!
Great video! Deffo gonna pick these up!! I like that the colours aren’t too harsh, they look like quite soft colours. Super clean
Thanks for addressing being able to swap the RGB layer to the other side of the cable for the GPU. I was trying to find out if the Plus version allowed that and yours was the only review I've found that covered it. Cheers! :D
Love that you actually showed every preset! Would have liked to see the different speeds as well, even if it was it's own video.
this is the best explained video ive seen in a while!!!!
Can't wait to get mine! I'm going to setup similar but I'm going to run the 8pin through the 24pin loop.
Thank you very much bro for give us the information that fps is depends on RGB. Before seeing your I didn't know this information. Take our love.
This video explains everything thank you so much
Such an enjoyable video... Definitely getting these soon. Thanks!
My god thank you for a quick and simple explanation of how this thing can be wired. I was getting no where with the provided pictures on the various websites always cutting the picture off making it very difficult to understands look like this simple control with do exactly what i want and i won't need to go down the expensive corsair rabbit hole. Thank you
Whats the voltage for the connection on the motherboard? Trying to find anything about this kit is super difficult. I have a 12v header available but not sure if thats too high or not may need to step it down
Thanks man, just ordered mine for those great FPS boost!
Nice video mate! exectly what i searched for. Thanks! imma buy these now. Bye! :3
You definitely got my Attention. Subscribed to your channel. Thank you. Keep up the great work. 🚀🚀🚀🚀
Thanks Chris!
These are really amazing
I just got the GPU one and it's so pretty! I'm glad I splurged on it. Now I want the 24 pin one as well 😍
Nicely done thank you for making this
Great video!!
thanks for this video. extremely helpfull and all questions answered. preset 3 and 4 look the best imo not too bright and also not too much going on from the effects.
Breakdown of various installation scenarios, starting 2:30, is very useful, thanks!
Hello po👋👋👋
Thanks so much ive just started getting into PCs you made me want to but this you need sponsers
You answered the one question I had, thank you.
Going to have to grab these
Great video just picked them up myself
Nice vid mate rlly helped me!
Thanks mate glad it helped!
Solid in-depth video man, thanks!
You're welcome bro glad you enjoyed!
@@TechTesseract On another note these Strimer Plus cables are hard to find in Canada. Weird lol.
It would be really, really nice if it was possible to syncronize the 5th effect to the power consumption, increasing the speed of the effect when the power consumption goes up too
Damn! And I thought my RGB setup was eye catching! Yours look like a spaceship warp core or a mini nightclub inside your PC.😲
the rave....fuck thats a good pc name
I think I'm going to buy these cables for my PC 😁👍
Nice 😏
i love these looks so awesome in my system
Hiya mate brilliant video, really informative and has helped with my new build I'm planning! Quick question in the video what CPU Cooler is that and what Ram sticks are those?
These are pretty cool looking... Using the lili controller seems like the best route.
I've just connected them up in my all white PC build I'm just waiting for my NZXT Liquid cooler then I can turn the PC on for the first time can't wait
Thanks for the video.
That’s awesome bro
Thanks, was very helpful :D
No problem!
Just ordered them supposed to get them today😁
Very nice xx
Those actually look sick 😍
Yup! 👌👌
love mine
Thanks to your review i bought the stimmers! i was looking how to instal them because i got only 1 argb port left and with the lian li controller its easy to buy in my case :D
I ordered these yesterday and this review made me feel better about the purchase I feel like I already unboxed it because of the video. Great review 👍
@Austin, have you try to use output port of the control box?
It's not working for me, I can't use it with the other argb lights.
@@lungyedchannel274 if by other Argb, lights you mean like corsair fans or nzxt for example then there is an adapter you can get from Amazon for like 15 dollars or if you have an msi or asus board. You could plug it up to your mobo and try to control the lights with mystic light or "Aura Sync" I believe is the Asus program. I did NOT buy the adapter. I just used mystic light and icue and tried to get my lights as close as possible. I hope this answers your question
@@junkdrawer9407 Thank you bro, I meant the Lian Li Control Box output port.
They clearly mentioned in user guide that we can use the output port to control other argb lights like rgb fans or strip, but my control box doesn't work.
@@lungyedchannel274 oh sorry, I don't think I used that, or I did and I just didn't know it was the output port although I will say it took my like 4 hours to get those things in my 280x
@@junkdrawer9407 For me it's took around 4-5 hours for installing lol.
Could you please try output port if you don't mind?
Thank you bro.^^
What are you using for your CPU cooler? Looks dope!
I'm SO glad to hear someone say "RGB Fusion sucks." I was starting to think I was the only one who felt this way!!!
Great video man. How are you getting that blue effect on the bottom of your case? It's sick.
thanks for showing the modes
nice video im defenetly buying them soner or later
Finally I can run games on ultra without a GPU.
Thanks @Tech Tesseract
2 years late but this video is a masterpiece
Nice video bro ;). One question: is it possible to adjust these RGBs with an software?
"RGB = MORE FPS" FACTS!! DO I EVEN NEED A GPU WITH ALL THE FPS IM GONNA GET FROM THESE.
EXACTLY! That's what integrated graphics are for right?! So you can blow 90% of your budget on RGB!
nope just onboard it, and bam rgb boost 350 FPS 4k battlefield ray tracing gsync magic.
I knew it!!!! My calculations were wrong
Yes. A graphics card gives you another component to blast out RGB lighting from.
what aio cooler is that btw?
top cables !!!!!
Amazing and good video
Thx bro
Hey Man! Greetings from Colombia!
Amazing video! The cables come with the controller? or I have to buy it? Thnks a lot!
what if i dont have car keys ??
Is that a custom front panel you're using? I've never seen that before it looks really good 👍
The controller becomes fixed in the PC case. How is the effect controlled? Is there a remote control? Or do I have to open the case every time?
Can you only change the color with the controller ? Because if yes you would have to open the case to get to the controller right ? Every time you want to change the colors
I gotta admit, they are pretty good. Especially next to motherboard RGB
Amazing video, but how do you access the control/remote conveniently when your case is closed, that part confuses me. MOBO might be less elegant but certainly more convenient.
Fookin beautiful m8
Hi man. Nice guidance! Anyway can you please let me know what brand your air cooler? Never saw it before. Thanks and cheers! 😊
Thanks! It's a water cooler bro, it's called DeepCool Castle 360ex :)
What a time to be alive.
I really like those and I may order a set for my computer anyway. But what I'd really like is if there was a set or a program or whatever to make them reactive to what the computer is doing. Drawing more power, more light loading a bunch of stuff it flashes I don't know that sort of stuff but that's way out of my skill range
Looks good. Can you just clip the rgb lights onto your existing cables and not even use the extensions?
Brilliant review here, very well put together, however my motherboard doesn't support the header, so I can't access the functions of the control unit. Help !!
Great video. Thanks! I'm setting up a new PC with a bunch of Corsair RGB. If I plug the strimers into the motherboard, will I be able to control them with Corsair's RGB software?
Nice video💪🏻🔥. They look really cool, but are a very expensive tho🙁
Thanks man! Yeah... RGB seems to make everything double the price 😂
instead of using this as an ext, can you just take the LED part out and attach it over the existing psu cable?
Can you make what color you want it to be?
Great review! Is that a single 1x8 pin cable or a 2x8 pin? My 3060Ti has only 1x8 pin entry. Also, is it adressable rgb? For example could you change that yellow into a goldish kind of yellow? Thx!
You just made me go through the best/worst purchase of my life so far.... and I thank you
so if youre plugging the cables into the controller box itll need to stay in the pc yeah? does that mean id need to open up my case when i wanna change the lights? Great vid very helpful
Hi, thanks for the wonderful video, I know nuts about fixing pc, was wondering if I could get some help from you regarding the 24 pin and 8 pin lian li RGB. I’m currently using the MSI RTX 2070 super and B450 aorus elite motherboard. I would really like to fix this RGB cables to enhance the RGB to my pc
Can you replace the cables with a different color? Or are you forced to use the given white cable extensions
More RGB means more FPS? Nice! Rofl:) Great review mate
EXACTLY! haha thanks man
Would the cables run off a Corsair Node? Or an NZXT fan/led controller?
Sick
Stupid question - Can you keep the LEDs off at certain times?
Did you connect the fans to the controller as well?? If you didnt can you do a video of that or use some light strips?
thanks so much I was going to upgrade my gpu but instead I install this and I now rock 145fps
I just bought these and i cant wait! Is the controller magnetic on one side by chance?
no you need double sided tape or something
Thank you
guessing you have a gigabyte mobo in this video - how do you connect your RAM to get rgb effects? or does it just turn on automatically but you cannot cycle through them
can i use the controller effects and also hook up the mb sync(Icue CP ) so i can use icue to sync with software but also switch effects off the controller?
great rgbs aww man lian li gooooood job
Can the 8 pin one be used fo the 8pin on the MB as well? I love the look of these "feeding" electricity into the parts (settings 5, 6, 8) in blue.
Dude when I saw that or these effect in white I wanted it immediately and knew I had my eye set on these ! The way u mentioned them that’s almost the exact thinking I had haha ! ⚡️🔌
How could it work for my 2080ti Gaming X Trio. It takes two 8 pin and one 6 pin. Wish I could get them.
I picked up the 24 pin and the new 3 x 8-pin for RTX 3080 cards. I am going to be installing them soon. I am currently using a Chinese brand that looks pretty good, but because the RTX 3080 has three 8-pin connections, one of them is no longer RGB.
Since I was getting that for my 3080, I figured I should also pick up the 24-pin.
Note, the 3080 GPU extension strimer comes with a the same controller that comes with the 24 pin.
I would have liked to see your review showing the controller with some of your other RGB plugged into it. I have lots of RGB in my system, and I am curious as to how it would sink up using this controller.
I also wonder about whether or not the unit defaults to Motherboard RGB, or Controller RGB. I plan on hiding this controller and I don't want to have to open the case every time I turn the computer on just to set it to use the motherboard RGB. I feel all controllers like this should have a remote specifically so you don't have to open the case for any adjustments. Considering the price, this was a pretty big oversight. In fact, you can't even plug your reset button into this controller as you can in some other manufacturers controllers. This would also allow you to change the patterns from outside the case. This product is pretty much double the price of other similar products, so I would have thought some kind of exterior control solution would have been included.
With this type of addressing, which many RGB manufacturers use, you cannot get everything to sync if you are using an RGB splitter or hub. I will be testing this in the next few days, but the hub I use I believe treats all the devices plugged into it as a single device. I believe this allows you to control many more LEDs than the motherboard could usually handle since it thinks all the devices plugged into the hub are a single device. Without the hub, there is no way I could get 2 x 1m RGB strips, an RGB GPU support, an RGB M.2 heatsink, GPU strimer, 24-pin strimer, and 7 RGB fans to run off of those addressable aRGB headers. I have thought about plugging it all into the output from the controller, via the hub, but this would look odd I think since some devices would be treated individually (those that are daisy-chained), and some treated as one device (those plugged into the hub).
I am not 100% sure since I have not tried this yet, but I think I am going to be experimenting quite a bit over the next few days.
So question, if you are using the controller do you have the controller in an accessible place to change mode or do you open your case every time?
Nice one, gonna get the for sure.
Anyone knows by any chance what's that CPU cooler?
Deepcool Gamerstorm Castle......
Hey bro nice video! I loved your cpu cooler, which one are you using? Cheers from Brazil
Deepcool castle 360ex
I have the lancool rgb strip. It uses an argb connection (3 pins with a fourth pin blocked off) I have no argb connections on my motherboard. Would I be able to plug in the strimer 8 pin gpu, strimer 24 pin motherboard, and the lancool to the controller?
The double 8-pin will be perfect for CPU power too since the extensions themselves come out. Great video!
Do you have an install video of how to attach the 8 pin cable to gpu?
Do we need to buy 2x 8 pin cables if want to connect these to a 3080 FE or 3090 FE?
For the 24 pin did you take the cables out of the backside to curve it that tight?
My gpu has both 8pin and 6pin. will i be able to use this?
