You have a point, I did wake up this morning and thought that my build just doesn't have enough RGB lighting, ordered the v2 of these, they are arriving tomorrow.
I got them & installed them, yep it was worth it both the 24 and the PCI 8 pin.

I was like who the heck needs RGB I have a closed case, bought normal RAM, tried to install it, my pc case is so small and annoying, so I go back to the pc store and say I want to buy a bigger case, they give me a glass side panel, now I can look inside my PC with zero RGB... And now here I am on YT looking at all these RGB thingies TT^TT I feel so sad about my RAM now XD

I saw these and left them be. £30 a pop 😮 Gorgeous, though, if you want to go all out. The pastel rainbow is my favourite especially with the slow movement. I’ve never had RGB lights, but just bought a whole new PC with lights in fans, ram and gpu, and a white case by this brand, managed to find white psu, ram and fans. Should look pretty indeed.

I think lian li must make a decent software to control this rgb light than we have to press the button on the hub which is probably make a little difficult proccess to change the colour, speed, etc (we must open the case first)

Your aio is mounted wrong lines need to be higher than cpu . Now instead of having air bubbles in the intercooler you have them in the water block
They need to stop sending these out and start selling them!

Erm.... If you used asus aura first, i think maybe? No usb, so you have to go via mobo control header
Not unless they updated since CES, they had their own proprietary controller only.
You can control the addressable header in icue on Asus boards
The power issue is exactly the sort of thing I’d do except it would take me a lot longer to figure out!
They are as tacky as hell but that almost makes them appealing. Like you id not put them in my own build. I would however put them in may sons first PC I’m building later this year.

Asus aura can also now be controlled by icue, making this just that much more better :)
they couldn't make the led strip extend all the way to the black connect? that would have made it more asthmatically pleasing. I guess it leaves something for them to do in version 2. the illusion is broken on the GPU with it stopping before going into the black connector.
does the controller have to be conected to sata even if i want to controll it with the cable to the mothetboard and the software
how does the built in controller effects (like the flow variations) compare to what you can drive from an ARGB header on a motherboard? MB would be convenient but the effects may be less flexible?

how can I change the lightning effect features of this thing into ASUS AURA ? asus aura doesnt have their feature lightning effects, because the remote is mounted in the other side panel?

How to sync the 24 pin cable with motherbaord RGB? I connected it as explained in the provided connection guide using the controller and it lights up gorgeously but DOES NOT sync with my mobo RGB at all!
The controller will NOT follow the motherboard lead at all. It controls the light out of sync the rest of my mobo RGBs.
I found out that I can bypass the controller only if I use the 8 pin cable using the provided connector which bypass the controller and it will sync with mobo lights. However there is no provided cable to connect the 24 pin cable to mobo bypassing the controller.

PC CENTRIC Can i ask do you any idea what i can do lol i have these new lian li RGB cables which i love but i want to buy thw MSI 2080ti X but it takes 2x 8 pin and 1 6pin. can we buy an extra 6+2 pin?
or will i have to find a way to put a normal 6pin connector to the GPU. i cant see how i could by the GPU strip and remove one of the 8 pin without damaging it as that was my first thought.

when you disconnected two of the pins from the rgb cable for the right side of the plug in , did they simply just click apart, if not how did you do it
question, is there a way you can change just the color using AURA Sync software (e.g) and keep the Mode (Drizzling) from the controller itself? How does it work with controller and software integration?

The 8 pin is for the GPU correct ? Also can it stand alone with the GPU or still an extension?
Yes, the 8 pin is for the gpu and the 24 pin is for the motherboard. And it is still an extension.

Can someone help please? I will have 12 LL120 fans in my case total, and I believe I need 2 Corsair RGB Hubs and 6 fan splitters with a commander pro, and it should work? For syncing plus using the software
pretty much yes. why do you need 12 fans?
From what I remember you would need 2 commander pro's and no splitters - each pro can handle 6 fans for rpm. Then you'd need two RGB hubs as the commander pro advises you to connect fans via the rgb hub.
@@PcCentric old comment but he was probably running 3 bottom 3 top and a push/pull x6 on radiator

no, i have them and you can remove then with damage. Maybe someone could find a hack but i cant see how
@@Simlife101 What? but you can completely remove the cables from the RGB strips if you need to invert the connectors as per LianLi, there's nothing at that point that keeps them?
@@Simlife101 wrong, you can separate the rgb section. The instruction manual even shows you how.

I went RGB on my last computer. This time around I decided performance and silence were the goals... to heck with the clown show.
Yup minimalism is best ..same with casing...i will go with a small one...RGB make it look too tacky...some RGB on video card and cooler is good but not fans

@super t The rear fan is at the bottom of the case making your hot air rises argument invalid. The error code readout on the motherboard is now upside down. All text on all components installed on the motherboard is upside down. If the aesthetic you're going for is to immediately make people think you're an idiot then I guess that argument is valid.
