One of my classmates had a Walkman and Megadeth's 2nd album "Peace Sells" and I got to listen to it on the bus to an Away Game with my Freshman Football Team. And I was like, "This shit is great." I was 13 at the time. I'm 50 now and still jamming out to nothing but Heavy Metal. Megadeth's newest album is pretty damn good. It's got a little bass solo on the 3rd track that is the deepest bass solo I've ever heard in a Metal album. It rocked my Sub when I played it the first time. Check out the song "Above the Sky" by Majestica (Tommy Johannson's band). It's literally got everything in it that Metal fans love. You listen to that and you'll realize why Metal fans love the genre.
Beware of a cult of Megadeth fans coming. Their only reason for existence is to try and sh*t on Metallica. It's a shame because Megadeth is an awesome band, but they'll never be as good as Metallica. There's no shame in that.
By the way.... This isn't their best song.... Try Wake up Dead, Peace Sells and symphony of Destruction.
Sounds like your a cult metallica fan......
Pot-kettle-black 😊
@@bigmatt1994Not at all. I love Megadeth....I thought I made that clear in my post. I just hate what some Megadeth fans have turned it into. Nobody trashes or even brings up Megadeth on Metallica reactions, but Metallica is all you read about on Megadeth's. Surely you see that, no?
Or Tornado of Souls (specifically for the solo :) )
The irony in this dudes statement is hilarious. He literally does what he says the opposite fan base will do 😂
@@CelinozReading comprehension is tough for you huh? Preparing him for what's to come and that's what you got from it? 😂
Haha! It's ok dude this song is arguably one the best metal tunes ever, it's supposed to blow your mind just like it did mine when it came out! Great band! Continue!
Love your reaction. To me personally this is the best metal song ever composed. Needless to say, the first time I heard it I was just as blown away by it as you are. 🤘
Heck yes!! My favorite Megadeth song! My second favorite is Symphony Of Destruction. =)
So glad you actually got to see a video of them playing, too!
I love the meaning and complexity of Megadeth songs.
Glad you like them! On the live front I would highly recommend 'She Wolf' from the Rude Awakening performance - the guitar and drum solos are pretty awesome \m/
Awesome man..Song still gives me shivers...
That look after the last solo was the same look I had back then. That solo was on 🔥
F****** Towering Inferno
Around 5:27 you can see his eyes water, these reactions and chills are real. Dude connects with metal like not a lot of other fellow Gen Zers can, and I love to see it
I cant imagine the skill it takes to play that, to stay in tune and on time, and the dude sings ad well madneess
Megadeth song FORECLOSURE OF A DREAM
Great reaction! Few other greats of theirs to consider: good mourning/ black Friday, hook in mouth, tornado of souls, she wolf.. so many to pick from!
I've been waiting to see your face when you heard Holy Wars! Love it! Made my day
Glad you enjoyed it!
SYMPHONY of DESTRUCTION is a killer song!!!! Magadeth is a talented Band...
