Next time you come down here bring some heavy braid line with a top water frog and cast around those pads. Frog fishing is great here and a lot of fun and you won’t get hung up! 🐸. Great video!🤙🏻🎣

Jerk bait. Watermelon trick worm for Bass. You was 20 miles prob from big cypress preserve. The splits right there on your right. Pass the first two levies and catch em all day. 3 plus all day. I get wore out from fishing so much!! The second levy you can camp on too. Love the Everglades man
Oscars are an evasive species in the everglades the fish should not have been released back into the ecosystem

@@CreekFishingAdventures I keep medical sports tape or electrical tape in my tackle box just for my thumbs on those great days for fishing.
I was down in South FL between Christmas and new year and fished two days. There is really good fishing all over the place. I caught largemouth, peacocks, oscars and even a gar. And I also noticed the birds everywhere. I even saw what looked like a tropical bird.
For the bass thumb, put Chapstick on it at bedtime and it will be on the mend in the morning. My wife shared that with me.
Somebody used to market a Condone thing for your thumb. It was made of a heavy material and slipped on fairly tight. Have you seen them around anymore?

Found your channel 3 days ago and subscribed after a few videos. I used to creek fish when I was younger, but went and got geared up to enjoy this type of fishing again. I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where we have quite a few creeks to choose from. Having to wait for the creeks levels to go down, they're moving too much to really enjoy walking one down. Thanks for sharing, I love it.

Totally enjoyed the fishing you experienced. You are catching a lot of larger aquarium fish I think which may be why they are there? Florida is so screwed with invasive species all you can do is find a way to enjoy them. Great video!!!

Next time you are back. Try the canals in Sunrise Florida and Coral Springs Florida. There are some big peacock bass and snake heads.

The type of gar that you were missing is alligator gar. They are are hard to hook. Unfortunately we don't have the alligator gar in the Chemung river in Elmira NY where I fish.
I've caught several fish over 7lbs. With 8 to 12 inch lizard or snake the big boys like the snakes fishing weedless drag it easy over that pad and bam ! There's nothing in this world like that feeling .

As it was explained to me, unless its marked (private, no fishing, etc) then it's free game. So side of the road, by parking lots or parks are all great areas.

That big spotted fish, after the Oscar, with the big caudal spot isn't a bass, is it? I don't recognize it, but it looks more like a cichlid to me.
Wish is was places around me like this. Here you can't fish anywhere in less you own the land the pond or lake is on.

Not sure where you’re fishing. I was in Fort Myers for 4 days. The only place I found was a dam wall in a park that I had to pay for. So I didn’t.

Haven't fished Florida since we moved from there in 83 but seems like the peacock bass are taking over . Not many striped bass or largemouth. Or is it just me

SW 8 Street. Also known as Tamiami Trail. It starts in downtown Miami and continues west through the everglades.
That helgramite is sick looking. Like a ned bait on steroids
Where can a man get the famous hellhramite? Are there any smallmouth down there? You might try braided line. A little stronger with the small diameter. Great verse.
They are easy to find online. Nikko's page is nikko-fishing.com. Amazon also has them, but for some reason, I don't see the junebug color.

you missed the 2nd one on the big rod bc there was a scale on the hook point. very important to check for scales but keep up the good work

@@CreekFishingAdventures you should try the Dock Demon Deluxe. It's a small spinning combo that is fun to use. Usually found at Walmarts or Dicks Sporting Goods
On 7:30 min of the video, Which road is that? What is the name of the road? Can you show it better on next video because I think I have the same one. On my road The name is red devil and I don't know where it come from. I have the light version 10-40 Action but it's very very strong. By the way i love your videos. Hey if you are usieng those Z-man ned heads, the hooks on them are crap. Owner and Trokar make much higher quality ones.
Zman ned heads are made for extremely light line like 2#-8#.. if your using anything heavier than that for line it's gonna bend your hooks out😅

Same with Bass Pro/Cabela's. I think they are crap, too. My Nikko hellgrammite will easily outlast those hooks.

You need to just you a bait caster like when you in weeds and stuff. I understand when you in open water the spinning rod is awesome! But for weeds and stuff a bait caster comes in clutch
