I love when you come down and fish our area it's thousands of spots you can choose from and it's still a lot you haven't seen yet even more fishing holes than that full of big pan fish big bass im on the Muck side I catch them all but love your videos 😳🐟🎣💪❤️🙏
Thank you for sharing these wonderful days out in Florida really capturing the true exotic and terrifying scenery that’s all around you! You bring us the best and never let us down keep pushing your content love it so much just keep safe! I know God protects you and keeps you safe throughout these adventures! Tight lines take care and God bless!
I spent a lot of my winters in Florida on and around Lake Okeechobee. I have not been back for the last 2 years. I miss it so much what a great state hopefully I will be able to retire there someday.
Back to your root's John.I remember backin the day all ofyour creek adventure's you would love to catch any and all specie's mostly small but had a blast doing it You've since graduated to catching healthy size smallie's and largie's.Keep up the good content brother
Started watching your videos after looking to find out more about small mouth fishing in Indiana. Love seeing you down here in my neck of the woods in Florida. I'm up in the Tampa area, next time you head this way give me a shout and we'll hit some saltwater creeks in my skiff up here. Tightlines brother!
You put up some great footage that shows how awesome the Everglades are! The water is low and a little cooler- so the native species are biting better. I got into a ton of those little spotted sunfish off of Alligator Alley.
I love fishing that area. At the end of that road is a campground in case you did not know. Also about 1/2 mile before the campground is a small bridge you drive over. That is a hot spot for huge Oscars. It's a long drive, worth it, especially if you camp out there and fish your way back out.
@ Water has been real high the last few months giving the fish opportunity to push back deeper into the Everglades around the canals. As the water starts to drop the fish will move back into the canals again. It’s starting to drop now, I’m hoping the fishing starts to pick back up.
Great video and beautiful area!! Great fishing!! Thank you for sharing and taking us along with you John!! Have a good day and week. Take care and god bless
I got skunked all weekend long. Caught absolutely nothing Saturday afternoon/early evening after work. Didn't get out Sunday. Got out today (Monday) and fished a pond I know is stocked with trout and also contains bass and bluegill, not so much as a nibble. Hit another pond that I know has green sunfish, bluegill, bass, and catfish, still nothing. It was a nice day, today, too. At least somebody is out there catching fish.
It's funny how the first few bluegill I caught when I started fishing in Maine were that big so I had no perspective on how big they actually were, but yeah that's a couple monsters.
Love catching those Coppernose Bluegill!!! I live just north of Nashville and have to drive to Tennessee/Alabama state line to catch em tho!! They are in private lake i have permission to fish and out pull the Tilapia that are stocked in there!! Great video buddy and INCREDIBLE scenery
I catch them sometimes in Northwest Florida, but my PB bluegill didn't have it, and it was a big black male. It's weird, they seem to be in certain ponds and lakes, but not everywhere.
@Steve-ev6vx I've noticed that as well!!! The Coppernose Bluegill I'm catching in southern Tennessee were stocked special which might be how other places get their Coppernose Bluegill!!! By special stocking programs
whats the name of the road these canals are on? just off the Tamiami trail? looking at driving a couple hours to south florida to do some fishing. really want to catch a peacock bass lol thank you and great video
What video editing apps do you use for your videos? They are so professional looking so I was just curious. Thanks for all your great content and as always I look forward to all of your videos 👍
If you have a boat focus on I-75 and Rt. 27 if you are fishing from the shore look at Rt. 41 and Rt. 29. Rt. 29 has some pretty unproductive water but it also has some very good water. On Rt. 41 you have probably 75 miles of water to fish on foot. The western part is brackish water the farther you travel east it’s more fresh water. The farther east you also have some good water you can fish out of a boat. If you come down at the right time, and fish the right area you can have some unbelievable fishing. Catching 6 or 8 different species in a day is pretty common in some areas.
Have the alligators taken any interest in you. I keep expecting one to come lunging out of the water at you!! But as long as you are posting videos I know you are ok!
I carry pepper spray in my boat and when fishing from shore. I haven’t had to use it often, but it does work on gators that get a little too close. I worry way more about snakes and fire ants than gators.
Thanks for all the effort making the trips to continue to bring awesome footage during the slow season. You rock man
I love your orange and blue Florida banner. Third generation Floridian here and a diehard Florida Gator fan.
Love seeing you in all these spots I've fished before. Lots of big snook in some of those tiny spots. I've caught them out of the cypresses.
Ikr I love our area 🎣🐟👍❤️🙏
John, great video. Those bluegills were the biggest I have seen in a long time🐟🎣🐟🎣

Enjoyed your trip to Florida. Good stuff!!👍
some brackish rivers and such are total fire - you should try a salt water trip in the dead of winter
Started watching your videos after looking to find out more about small mouth fishing in Indiana.

The fishing is great, but the wildlife photography is excellent and very interesting!
Another great show thx DB
Fishing's been tough down here in South Florida. That little bit of cold turned these peacock and snakehead off like a light switch.
this trip was my toughest for catching P's

Good tips on finding fish (current) and lots of action.
Cichlid pike. Awesome bait!
John, try Orange Lake in Orange County! It is nothing to catch 8-10lb. large mouth. My uncle caught one 11lb. 8oz's there. God Bless you! (Glen).WV.
wow
If you can stand the sand flies, Hosford and Samatra fl. Off 65 in north fl. 2 hand size Yarmouth and brim. They live in beds and roots

Nice fishing bro ❤❤❤
Just the kind of area you would expect to see a skunk ape. 😊
Bring your kayak over here and catch Reds, Flounder and Speckled trout with me in Louisiana.
Pike killy fish (I think that's how you spell killy) are cool. I want some dwarf sunfish in an aquarium I think they're really neat.
I think it's " killi".
the switch up is crazyy XD lolol
whats the name of the road these canals are on? just off the Tamiami trail? looking at driving a couple hours to south florida to do some fishing. really want to catch a peacock bass lol

Man if you come down Florida again. you gotta hit up tenaroc or, go from shady brook to Lake Panasoffkee. You always skip central Florida lol
What area are you in in this video?
Those were some nice gills!
I used to do the same thing you are doing when I was in Florida. You should always have a rapala F9 topwater for bass. You won't be sorry.
Man that gator was HUGE 🐊 😅
nice one dad
What size tires and wheels on the front of your SUV?
20 in wheels with 265/60 i think
I lived in south Florida for 30 years and I've caught blue gill that would eat those you caught
Man that sounds fun

i use filmora wondershare on my computer
Nothing like fishing with your head on a swivel 🐊
I am planning on a fishing trip down in South Florida. What area of the everglades are you at.
most of this video was from the Cypress area

Jealous about the Pike Topminnow. Maybe I can catch some next time
PAN FULL Bluegill for sure.
are fish edible out of the water ways?
If I lived close to these canals I'm sure my diet would consist mostly of fish! I like to catch, and I equally like to eat them!
Where is this in florida
tamiami hwy
Best be lookin out for that Skunk Ape
Great job with the intro.
I can't get into catching tiny fish on a rod, cast net them then put them on a hook
When are you going to catch some of those 5lb bluegill lol 😂
Have the alligators taken any interest in you. I keep expecting one to come lunging out of the water at you!! But as long as you are posting videos I know you are ok!
only ones that come close are the ones that people feed, they will come right up to ya
I carry pepper spray in my boat and when fishing from shore. I haven’t had to use it often, but it does work on gators that get a little too close. I worry way more about snakes and fire ants than gators.
And I’m over here in ohio trying to fly fish for crappie in the pouring rain and wind 😂
Why are you standing so far away from the edge?
So he doesn't spook them.
Fishing with gators, NAH im good. LOL
Suprised you didn’t hit any snakeheads yet
That’s one Fish I haven’t been able to catch yet
@ I guess that’s a good thing, they haven’t made it down there yet.
The last time I was reeling in nothing but fish that sze ....they kicked me out of the pet store
Good one
Great fishing. Were you "packing heat" while fishing?
I would've had a firearm at my disposal in case an alligator snuck up on me.
i hope your fishing turns around soon
i want summer so i can fish.. i hate winter
You can still fish in winter just gloves hat and warm clothing
