CONGRATS on 100k Elias!! Been watching you for years. Well deserved
Nice ! A "scrounger head would fit the bill perfect along with that chatter-bait to give them a little different look....Catch'em up !
If thats grass bed and sand holes in that area the trout will be everywhere and the issue with floating live shrimp is the pin fish. 80% of the time the legs of the shrimp get nibbled off and then the bait gets ignored quite often.
Living and fishing South Tampa Bay to 10,000 islands I have found artificial baits produce the best fish on the flats and shallow areas.
If you have never tried one check out the Yo-Zuri crystal minnows, I find them to catch just about anything in FL waters and have caught some very nice FL reds on them. (Lol nothing like the bulls you catch but for FL not to shabby!)
I would love to see those 17-20 in trout come back around in NJ. Lucky to see one 13 inches these days
NJ? Are you referring to the Weakfish? Not the same as the Spotted Seatrout from this video.
@@FastEddy1959 yes, he knows what I was referring to.
"He's one crack!" 🤣
Really enjoyed the video my friend thank you so much for sharing enjoyed watching your fish catch you on your next one take care your friend Billy Simmons
YES! ready for this trip. I always found the snook there in the evening. big mullet did me well. if you can outlast the bugs!
That's why I keep Crazy Glue in my tackle box. For repairing lures. Excellent Bite
Awesome video as always. Loved the overview of how you fished a new area. Super informative.
Beautiful fish! GG’s have come back strong. I foresee being able to start harvesting them again with restrictions. What a stress on the equipment! Fun!
7 views, 13 thumbs up - Nearly everyone must have given you a double thumbs up. Keep up the good work Elias.
Congrats on 100k bud..glad to see you made it there...love to see a cobia vid...
What a blast ! Always a pleasure to watch pal thanks for taking us along
No way, Elias got skunked for 7 days. Thanks for not posting a bunch of talking and no catching from that trip. Those Goliath Grouper look like a blast to catch.
Hello!
What a nice sunrise!! 🌅
Great video as usual. Just wanted to let you know your description links are not working "Spooled w/20lb Spiderwire x8 Ultracast "
Congrats on the silver play button much deserved! Oh and thanks for the extra pack of white shads!
Nice video. I was just down there a week ago. I only fished everglades city 1 day got a few snook and reds couldn't find any trout. Keep catching them
Speckled Elias catching huge speckle trout. You make kayak fishing look so good
Goliaths on a chatterbait, sweet! Love the color on the juvenile goliaths...
Interesting trip. I've lived and fished in FL a very long time, have yet to do the Everglades. Looks fun.
Liked the popping cork sliding by just after hooking into the snapper
It has been a long time since you last posted, really glad to see you again. Watching your video's is always an adventure for me. Thanks for the fishing excitement!
Congrats on 100k man. I have been around for a long time. I love what you are doing. You inspire me to kayak fish but in my country it is a tough thing to afford 😂
Make a boat out of blue plastic 55gallon drums look on Craigslist to buy them and look on RUclips for 55gallon plastic drum boats.
Can be made in a weekend and on the water for cheap
Well deserved 100k, E ! Bowing up on the G fish ! Oh, yeah !
Haha, Elias, last year I went out there after watching this video. My son and I went... It was the worst, most stupid kayaking adventure I've ever been on. I don't think I caught a fish. We did manage to break 1 rod, loose 1 reel, Loose a Rod holder, Get the 120 Auto Stranded in a 1/2 mile stretch of 3 inch water. lol We managed to do this all within about 400 yards from shore. We heard people laughing all the way from shore. lol Don't know how you managed to get where you were but we didn't find that.
Elias, Congratulations on 100k you totally deserve more viewers. Stap safe ,stay topside. Prayers sent for Meg,Elias. God bless
Flip flops and groupers! I am officially very jealous!
Congrats on the subs. A Goliath even that size would eat or try to eat those specs you caught
I might be finally getting a kayak soon, it's not any fancy PDL kayak but it's a start. if I can I'll attach an electric trolling motor to it for bigger waters.
Great insight on hard bottom in those channels!
My dude Congratulations on the 100K bro keep up the good work, been a subscriber for a few years now 👍
100k!!! 👍🏿!!! And new sunglasses to boot😎

Great video. Congrats on the well deserved and long overdue 100k! Really happy for you. Just out of curiosity, can you keep those grouper? I've heard they're good eating.

Love the content. Thought I saw you about 2 weeks ago on an 80 degree Saturday in March in Ilm, maybe not. Haha haha.
Well done ... those Grouper looked like big fun. Stay dry ... .
That did look like great fun. Thanks for sharing
I just picked up a z man chatter bait today, when the wind dies down I'm all over it
Awesome stuff as always Elias, “bass fishing on steroids”
Man those Grouper had amazing colors!
Congrats on 100k subs. Send some of those trout swimming to Texas we need some restocking, 😂.
That release at 5:47 was 🔥 🔥 🔥
I know this is going to sound crazy but the best way to catch tarpon fly fishing
My favorite fishing channel congrats on the 100k well deserved.
From Far rockaway ny ..I was one of the first 5000 followers .Cool to see you at 100000
Beautiful fish. love the goliath
that’s so sick! gave me ideas to fish the glades me my home waters! chatter bait all the deep areas
Congrats on the 100k man!
Congratulations on 100k subs. The Everglades is on my bucket list.
Congrats on 100k!!!
Drop a lady fish or a little jack on heavy conventional with 130lb leader and there are 50 lbs plus goliaths in those creeks. Biggest trout isolated up in the mangroves where you would catch a snook.
Had one crush me other day. Good tip on the trout. Would be cool to see a nice one.
@@EliasVFishing real big trout seem to be loners down there at least. Even back in the 90s when schoolie trout were mostly 13 inches, I would catch a 5 to 7lber every once in a while off a snook tree mixed in with the snook. Also if the water is warm, up on real skinny flats but very hard to approach with a poling platform let alone see and cast to from a low seated position.
Do you think that fish generally prefer calmer rhythmic waters? I feel like anytime there a lot of wind and the water is choppy the surf fishing is degraded.
It’s funny how you compare the Goliaths on chatterbait to bass fishing which it totally is except that a lot of bass fishermen are using even heavier tackle to catch 2lbs fish!
100k that’s awesome man keep up. Been here since 24k.
Congrats! 100k!
Miss that place! Thanks so much for the Video!
What trailer was that on the chatter bait? Looked good! Awesome upload!
Beautiful eating-size specs. I would have had a hard time throwing those back.
Congratulations on 100k subs!
Where were you fishing before this, where you said you got skunked BAD?
Awesome video as always Elias:) was curious do you usually yo-yo retrieve your chatterbaits or do you use a different style retrieve normally
Both!
Great stuff my man. Congratulations on that 100k mark.
I had a blast too, thanks!
Cool video!!! Really nice fish! Congrats on the 100k. Curious, where in FL did you get skunked?
HOW DO YOU CATCH THEM SO QUICKLY MAN??? IT USUALLY TAKES ME LIKE 20 MINUTES TO CATCH ONE
Hey Elias are you Greek?I've been following and love your videos!Keep up the good work and God bless
Damn I was there last week launched from Everglades City caught some nice redfish and the fattest trout I ever saw. Also caught 3 juvenile goliaths, a barracuda, and a bunch of under slot snook.
I'm planning on launching from Choko Wednesday to avoid that long paddle across the bay in the wind from EC.
Me and a friend are launching from chokoloskee on Thursday in case you wanna come bro 🤙🏼
@@saltyskippersportfishing5685 That's awesome but can't make it Thursday. But don't worry I'll leave a few fish in the water for you! : )
@@saltyskippersportfishing5685 I ended up with 3 nice keeper trout and 2 small snook. Was going to try for a redfish on the oyster bars but the wind was ferocious.
Good luck tomorrow!
Eta: super low tide this morning I could barely get inside on a kayak! In fact had to get out and tow it over one spot.
@@SSHitMan thanks for the heads up brother, what were you catching them with?? Jig and soft bait?
Congrats on 100k man
They need to open a season on them Jewfish......they came back enough.....tberes spots here in Stuart FL when they roll in that's all you will catch!!!
Congratulations with the 100k👌👍
Thats a nice kayak
I always feel like something huge is going to come up from under the kayak
Congratulations on 100K!!!
You are encouraging other to get out. Thank you and congrats!
Hey Elias, your vid resolution looks really good on my TV, what gopro are you using? I have been thinking of getting one.
Awesome vid bro!
Great 👍
My brother and I always follow your videos, thanks for teaching us.
Our question, do you recommend 1/4 or 3/8 jig head for that kind of fishing ??
oh ho ho oh boy boy. you gotta jump in with grouper to release it
Great job bro. Hopefully you get on them snook
Congratulations on hitting 100k subs well deserved !!
Good job men😁
Congrats on 100K.
