Finally, rut is here!! I cannot overstate how honored I am to have been a cohost on this project, a huge thank you to my fellow hosts and to all of the participants who worked so hard to see the project through to completion! Working on rut has meant so much to me, and I am so inspired by all of the excitement and passion surrounding this project. Brightheart’s story is so hopeful and uplifting, and I hope that’s exactly what this map is to you! remember to give the participants lots of love and enjoy the completed map!!

I am so delighted for us to be able to premiere this map during disability pride month! I think Rut is a wonderful anthem and representation of Brighthearts journey and her fight to thrive, live and love. Thank you to Beth, Kat and Pfini for joining me in this crazy endeavor to finish the map, and to the countless participants we roped in on our scheme to completion! I have always felt such a strong connection to this project and am so delighted and honored to be apart of its success. Enjoy and send your love to everyone involved in its creation! Wow okay! Idk quite what to say!!! I can't believe this project is done! First I want to give a huge, giant thank you to @PfiniProductions, @fadedkat and @ShadowedKing! This project has meant so much to me for such a long time and for the longest time, I sort of held onto it. I didn't want to give up my baby but, to be quite honest, I'm so glad I did. You guys brought this project back to life and got it past the finish line so quickly! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing that this project was in the hands of such talented and devoted people and I want to thank you so much for giving your time and care to this project in a way I wasn't able to. It turned out better than I could've imagined and it wouldn't have happened without you!
I also want to thank the participants!! Some of ya'll have been with this project from the beginning and, I'm sure, have felt your fair share of frustration with me! Thank you so much for sticking with this project! And to those who jumped in at the end to push it through to the finish, thank you, as well! You all did such an amazing job! I'm literally in awe!! Every single part is a masterpiece and I can't believe what you created!

Hi ya'll! Recently I've noticed parts of this MAP being reuploaded, both in edits and in its entirety. Many of the edits tag me as the creator and, while I appreciate the effort, I would much rather you reach out to and tag the specific animators who contributed each specific part. As for full reuploads, I'd rather that didn't happen. I don't make any revenue from this video, BUT most of the reuploads don't properly credit the animators and furthermore, those animators didn't consent to their work being shared on other channels.
I really appreciate people respecting these requests and hope you continue to support the amazing artists that helped make this project possible. Thanks so much for the support and excitement around this project! I'm so happy people are enjoying it.

Brightheart is a light that shines for Warriors fans with disabilities. I love maps that portray her and other disabled Warriors in a positive light. Her story is one of triumph and I can’t wait to see the hard work that everyone put into this beautiful project.
This is the reason she’s named Brightheart

I love the little parts between Brightheart and Cinderpelt, a lot of people forget they're sisters ❤
It's rare to see maps with actual messages. Here, the message of "never give up" through the eye of Brightheart is heart warming and something we needed. I also see this map as a message of "don't be afraid to ask people for help" as Brightheart has cats around her who wants to help her, like Cinderpelt and Cloudtail. This map is so sweet with a adorable message and every participant really make this project alive with their parts. This was worth the wait 💕💕💕
Some people think that Bright heart was being dramatic and here's what I think. What if one day everyone you loved gave you weird looks and never treated you the same ad you used to be. I think that when she went to meet princess (fire stars sister) and princess gave a concerning look at Lost face she felt hurt and when she went to go look in a puddle just to find out what caused it she felt even more hurt JUST BY LOOKING AT HERSELF. That's no way to live and I think that she thinks Swift paw would think the same even though deep inside there's more people that love her. Bright heart teaches us all a lesson when it comes to looks. No laser what you look like or where you've been you should always get treated the same as everyone else.
words can't quite capture the feelings I have watching this. Everyone did such a great job, it was awesome to see the amount of teamwork and dedication as everyone rallied to finish, and the final product is very fulfilling to see. I love Brightheart and lept at a chance to animate her in a project, and I am so glad to see it to completion. The amount of emotion everyone was able to bring out in their parts really hits home, and getting to see Brightheart accept herself is the payoff she deserves. Puts this one up on my warrior animation hall of fame shelf where it belongs.

I love this brightheart design. The size of her scar isn’t necessarily realistic, but it’s easy to draw, maybe more animator friendly, and the severity of her injury is represented through the lack of fluff and ear on that side. Very nice. And the other scars on her body ofc.

agreed! i did expect the scar to be bigger but this is definitely easier to animate! considering there’s a lot of movement and animation i think it was better to draw the scar in the way they did!

I became disabled shortly after this MAP call first dropped. Seeing it complete now after so many years after seeing myself change in those years is just amazing …. As a disabled person this character and song touch me deeply and I feel so privileged that so many talented artists worked to bring such a heartwarming project to life.

I stopped reading Warriors a long time ago, but I still like keeping up with these multi-animator projects because all of the artists involved are so incredibly talented, and it's such a pleasure to watch them come together.

i have no doubt this map will help countless disabled children and adults who feel ostracized from the world around them. the way brightheart's story of love, loss, and healing told within just a few minutes is outstanding. there's no romanticism nor is there any implication that brightheart is lesser after the accident; the only one holding her back in the beginning was herself. every single animator brought her to life in a way ive hardly ever seen before. congratulations and a phenomenal job, the wait was beyond worth it. 👏💕

Wow, I actually can't believe that this is finally finished... So many old map calls from years ago are forgotten and don't get finished despite the hype for them, and this map is one of those where you think for a while the project has slowed down and isn't worked on anymore, but rises from the ashes and suprises everyone with it's completion. Just goes to show the devotion to art this community has, and I'm so glad to see this finished and see so many great artists come together to make this beautiful piece of art.
Brightheart herself has risen from her own ashes. Her story about overcoming her trauma and finding her own worth despite those around her having doubts about her abilities has always touched alot of folks in the fandom who have a similar story to tell. The inclusion of Cinderpelt in this project has always touched me aswell. So many forget that they're actually sisters, and I think it's a wonderful relationship to explore.
Thank you, Beffalumps and the animators who made this completed map a reality, your dedication and creativity inspires me and everyone else here witnessing the premiere.
Let's all continue to spread positivity and overcome our Insecurities and fears! ❤

I think I can say without a doubt, this has become one of my favorite MAPs ever. From the colour script, to every single participant, everything was so well put together. The way you presented Brightheart’s character and the message behind the map is truly inspiring. Thanks for creating this
I remember seeing this MAP call and parts before I even started animating, and now to have had the chance to help with finishing the project and watch it ride into completion was such- an amazing opportunity and I'm SO excited to see the complete project!!
every time the MAP gets to the final chorus, i get literal CHILLS! i can't express how it warms my heart and literally makes me want to CRY. the slow transition from "i'll climb and i'll climb" to "oh but don't you give up on me", AAHHH MY HEART

I gotta say this is one of the best Brightheart Multi Animated Projects I've ever seen in my life! I think it might be my favorite one, it's so well done, everyone seems to have put forth their best effort and it all flows together smoothly!
I must say, if anyone ever deserved to lead Thunderclan it was Brightheart. Brightheart is literally the heart and soul of Thunderclan and she deserved so much better than she got from the Erins.
I'm so incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful project. I remember seeing the call first drop and absolutely loving the concept. Brightheart is a character very dear to my heart, her story alongside Cinderpelt's helped get me through a terrible mindset when I first learned of my disability. I still can't believe that I was able to contribute and bring this wonderful project back from the grave. Everyone worked so incredibly hard to get this beast finished, and it's amazing.
My eyes just started bawling once Alex Harrier’s part came. The build-up. My heart. I can’t.

*Why's she missing an ear? Why is there no scar/hole where her ear would have been?*
These designs are very stylized, both because that's simply how I enjoy drawing, but also to make animation easier for the artists. Details are simplified and omitted, while still staying true to the essence of the character. I know it may not be "canon", but that's the fun part about fanart--different artists have different interpretation.
*Can I put this in an edit/on TikTok?*
I'd really prefer you didn't, as this is a project comprised of many people's work. If you would like to use elements from this video, please reach out to each individual artist (they're linked in the description, as well as listed in the video both on each individual part and in the end credits). I understand people enjoy making edits and do them mostly for fun, but taking and reuploading people's art without permission and credit is very disrespectful and just not right. Please respect the artists and their work by reaching out to them personally for permission. (And please respect their answer, even if they say no.)

AAA the wait has been 100% worth it! This MAP turned out so gorgeous and I love the way how from the shadows of Cinderpelt's den the MAP moves towards the brightness of the sun - I think that detail alone makes this so outstanding ✨The colors and atmosphere throughout the entire MAP carry out that hint of hope from the very beginning to the end where it blossoms into its most whole form 💖 Brightheart deserves this spotlight, and this effort that has been given to the MAP and everyone did an outstanding job! I have a special connection with brightheart. One of my eyes is less functional then my other (practically deadweight if I don’t count the little vision I have) and was bullied all my life for it. Eventually I finally found my way around life and can live independently, and I also found a lover that loves me for me and saw through my disability ❤️

This disability pride month٫ I was finally diagnosed with Adhd. The message of not giving up and continuing to exist despite a disability or what others may say about it is just what I needed to hear right now! ❤
I think the thing that kills me most of all is at the very end, when Cinderpelt says 'Don't you give up', when she looks away you can see that small amount of pain because she DID have to give up.
God do I adore this fandom
yeah okay this made me cry. the killers have always been one of my fav artists so i was so excited for this map i went out of my way to avoid watching any parts so i could go into it blind. 4 years later im currently in the worst depression in my life and this still managed to bring a smile to my face. this song is one of my favorites and brightheart will always have a soft spot in my heart. all the animators did such a wonderful job- this project was well worth the wait ❤
This is now my comfort map 😭😭🧡 I watch this whenever I feel sad and it works perfectly so I'm really thankful for you all, you did amazing
God- that was a beautiful map, I can’t believe my eyes- it was too good. I’ve only seen two other maps that are the runner ups in my favourites, but this one sits in the middle. Brightheart didn’t deserve to get attacked that night, she shouldn’t have, but if she hadn’t, who knows? She would’ve ended up as another bland character. But the injury made her interesting, and it showed that she didn’t lose hope even in the darkest moments. StarClan’s Chosen is following very close behind this map, like maybe joint first idk. But honestly- if I could choose any map to watch forever it’d be this one, it’s so beautiful and all the animators worked so very hard on it, I’m proud to be apart of the warriors community, and maybe be apart of a map one day, but until then I suppose I just gotta keep working hard to build my own channel. I’m a mix of horses and warrior cats- but honestly, nothing beats the warriors community, even though toxic people exist, they exist in every community, we can’t let it stop us!
I say- toxic people aren’t apart of the community, but they sadly and unfortunately exist, and honestly I’m convinced they exist to spread annoyance, so just avoid and ignore them. I know I’m just rambling in this comment, but I don’t know what else to write.

I was still in high school when the map call aired, now i graduated and have a job. Seeing this completed fills me with so much joy
This is such a wholesome map. But my favorite part has to be when Brightheart is made a warrior and cinderpelt says “don’t you give up” in the background.
This is soo relatable! And the ending, I constantly had goosebumps, because it can be hard when you look different. So, it stands out to me, and it gives hope to those out there.
I love how all BrightHeart MAPS either are incredibly wholesome, or tear-worthy.
This map almost made me cry a couple times. It reminded me of myself a little bit (even though I don’t have a disability), and everyone who participated in this is so fantastic and talented. And this map is so underrated!
Edit (4 months later): I watched this again and it still makes me cry 😭 Brightheart’s story is so sad, but she’s perfect in every way.

This map is gorgeous! Growing up disabled, I always clung to Brightheart. In fact, Cinderpelt and Brightheart were the ONLY young disabled characters I had. Despite everything that’s happened, she never gave up, got to find love, and lived an amazing life as a warrior. Seeing this brought back all the feelings I had while reading the books for the first time. Thank you to everyone who took part in this. HAPPY DISABLED PRIDE MONTH!

I used to be big in the warriors fandom, so i havent watched any related content in the fandom for a while, not since a couple years now, but to see how far the Art in the community as come truly amazes me, detailing on the characters/backgrounds its absolutely breathtaking to see, animation as well has definitely have that refreshing feeling, i really enjoyed this map and i was excited when i saw the hosting come out. Even if its been 4 years of waiting, it was all worth it, W's to all the animators/hosts that put there time and love into this project, you all did incredible!

Yeah cuz it kinda shows that even though Brightheart got hurt really bad and is self conscious about it, Cinderpelt has also been through it before yet didn't give up no matter what.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS! i love the happy vibes, the animation styles, the simplistic designs, and the STORYBOARD!!! i feel like them meeting princess is so uncommon but so important to include! I LOVE EVERYTHING AAAA

Absolutely amazing work with the animations, just so beautiful! Emotions of the characters fit with the song so well, and you can read the story behind the scenes from their faces! Good job every single one of you!
I personally think that brighthearts story is the most inspiring story Erin could have made it relates to many people with disabilities with the realistic thoughts of these people and how it may take a very long time to work at it I personally don’t have a disability but I have anger issues and adhd and I often get bullied/made fun of for overly dramatic or emotional like blue star had called brightheart names but then it shows also there are people there I have a person there for me and I honestly couldn’t ask for more for someone like her
Brightheart is so strong, kind, amazing, I love her name and she will forever be one of my all time favorite warrior cats ❤️
tears were shed. seeing this map completed fills me with so many emotions. the map call dropped just as i started a new chapter of my life so it feels so sentimental to me. everyone did such an amazing job :') 💜

This turned out nothing short of stunning. After all this time through all the highs and lows of productivity, focus and motivation it really came together absolutely gorgeously. Everyone did a wonderful job, especially kudos to the hosts for pushing it through while being understanding and finally putting it together so wonderfully.

This is one of the best brightheart maps I've ever seen! The way it shows her slowly leaning to move on and get used yo hunting and fighting again was amazing! The designs were reconizable wich was nice too! Good job to all the people who participated in this map!

Cinderpelt was sorting herbs, although she was finding hard to think with a sigh coming from the back of the den every five seconds. Maybe it was her Yellowfang showing but it was getting hard to ignore. She stood and turned towards her younger sister, who was curled in a tight ball. “You know if you have something you wanna say you can” Lostface sighed again and flopped her ginger tail over her ears. Cinderpelt stepped towards her “you know if I was the previous medicine cat you would have been kicked out of here ages ago, but luckily I’m not, but I do want to know how I can help you” Lostface turned towards her, her single eye dull “I don’t think I can live like this” Cinderpelt stopped for a moment, before asking “you mean with your injuries?” “No” Lostface said, “well yes that too but I mean like this” she waves her tail at the nest “I’m going to be stuck in a nest forever, I’m never going to be a warrior” Cinderpelt looked confused “what do you mean? Who said that” “only everyone!” Lostface said “Bluestar, darkstripe, even Fireheart!” “I doubt that’s true” Cinderpelt said, although she was going to speak with Fireheart for that one “Fireheart means well, but my older brother is not the best with understanding emotions, Darkstripe, he’s Darkstripe, you don’t listen to a word he says. As for Bluestar…” Cinderpelt paused breathing in deeply, she kept a cool face on, but she wanted to punt this leader straight off a Cliff at times “She’s having problems” “It doesn’t matter, she’s leader, if she doesn’t want me a warrior then I won’t be one” Lostface looked up at her, “after all that’s what’s happened to you” Cinderpelt couldn’t help but laugh “you think the clan believing that I won’t be a warrior would have ever held back me and Fireheart from training me to be one. Despite what everyone seems to believe I picked this for myself, I saw how Yellowfang treated others and helped them. I never wanted kits, nor a mate, even if at one point I thought I did” she rolled her eyes “I did what I wanted with my life, now so can you, one eye won’t chance that.” Lostface looked down at her paws and bit her lip, looking as if she was trying not to cry. “Brightpaw so many cats believe in you, mom, our brothers, Whitestorm, Longtail, Cloudtail, Even Fireheart when his not being a idiot” Cinderpelt crouched to look her sister in the eye, “none of us have given up on you, now you don’t give up on yourself, that’s some of the best advice a old cranky she cat could have given me once” Cinderpelt licked the top of her head and went back to sorting.
This map is amazing so here’s a little scene with Cinderpelt giving her sister advice. I headcanon that Cinder and Bracken are a few moons older then Bright and Thorn because not doing that makes my brain hurt. Also Cinderpelt is Aroace in my opinion, always kinda saw the crush Cinder was about to mention as weird and kinda just took it as, Oop I almost just told him I had a dumb crush on him never mind I don’t need him to blackmail me with that info. But this is amazing, amazing to every detail.
Awwwww Cloudtail hugging Brightheart after their training session made me grin. This MAP is so beautiful, all the artists did amazing ❤
This MAP is so unbelievably beautiful. I honestly teared up at the end when the whole clan surrounded Brightheart as Cloudtail hugged her. Well done to all of the participants!
I’ve been following this project for such a long time now, and i’m so happy to see the map completed. I love the concept and storytelling of this map so much, and I’m glad Brightheart gets the recognition she deserves. The animators did such an incredible job on this, and every part is looking absolutely gorgeous!

i haven’t been part of the warriors fandom for at least 3 years now, but this was recommended to me and i couldn’t be happier that it was. i cried twice because the art and the message are just so beautiful and it impacted me in a way i didn’t know animation could. the song choice is perfect and this whole project is fucking amazing, well done 💙
I remember when this was posted and I just KNEW this was going to be my favorite MAP, I’m so glad it’s finally complete, and that I get to properly sob my heart out while watching it.

i remember this call releasing when i was in 8th grade and i knew it'd be worth the wait!!!! this MAP is just gorgeous from the warm colors to the character designs... i love how brightheart looks aughgghuhgh everyone did amazing!!!!!!!! gotta be one of my fav MAPs of all time
Out of all the Brightheart animations I've seen this has got to be one of my favorites! The song fits her perfectly and each part is so beautifully animated and shaded. And the parts near the end are just so heart-warming! This MAP is amazing! The animators did a great job!
Cloudtail is so fluffy and this song is a BANGER!!! Well done to the participants y’all clearly worked VERY VERY hard and it shows
God the art in this map is beautiful. The attention to detail is outstanding. Brightheart is such an inspirational character to those who struggle with disability or trauma. As someone who's suffered from c-ptsd- god, it's so meaningful to see characters like this not let their past define them-- especially the part around 3:18 says so much and is so impactful.
