When Cinderpelt died protecting Sorreltail’s kits, I literally froze. I kept rereading that line over and over again hoping that I got something wrong...
I was expecting her to die because of the story going on for leafpool But when she did i read the line over and over again, i thought i was prepared but i wasn't. Shes my favorite cat in the whole series
I like how they made Cinderheart have stripes but not Cinderpelt, signifying that they are two different cats with different lives, but still shared something.
When I was younger, I saw this map and was amazed, I knew who cinderpelt was, but not cinderheart, i come back to this map, and realized this map holds so much more than our eyes can even begin to comprehend, it doesnt just show cinderpelts life, it shows the challenges the cats went through, the losses, the heartbreak, the romance, the blood, the battles, everything. It shows the differences beetween the 1st series and the last series, warrior cats has taught me so much, when I was sad and lost in thought, I thought warrior cats, when I couldnt go to sleep, I dreamed of warrior cats, when I was eating at my school cafeteria, I used to pretend I was eating a mouse and I was the med cat, I used to rp online and irl with my friends, what more could I want? I will be reminded of cinderpelt when my challenges overcome me, when i feel worthless... I will think back to this brave she cat... Who went through the journeys we will one day go through, thank you, warrior cats
I feel exactly the same. 4 years ago when I saw this MAP it didn't really have as much meaning as it does now. I feel like in a way I've grown up with warriors and relate to a few of the characters.
If you read her special edition book, you see that she wanted to be a warrior, but was gifted the ability to feel ppls pain, meaning she should be a medicine cat. But she hated that
wAIT OK I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING THAT MADE ME CRY. So you know how Yellowfang was a mother but she had to give Brokenstar up and her other kits died? Cinderpelt was her second chance at being a mom. She helped Cinderpelt so much after her injury and taught her how to be a medicine cat. I literally sat on my bed for a good 5 minutes crying because of this.
I was already on the brink of tears cause I loved Cinderpelt and Yellowfang in teh books and I was so sad when both of them died, ya know what, I just realized that I really just love most of the medicine cats in all the books -_-
Cinderpelt always had a warrior spirit in her. Even as a medicine cat, she was willing to do whatever was needed to protect those kits and their mother. I think Starclan saw the true power of her spirit and gifted her that second chance to be the warrior she was meant to be.
@@warriorcatsfan9366 erm... kinda defeats the purpose of being dead if everyone gets a second chance. She had the makings of a great warrior, and Tigerclaw stole that future from her. She embraced the life of a medicine cat, but she forever longed for the life she lost as a warrior. Part of her did die on that road, and she felt hollow and empty for a good while after that. Yellowfang breathed new life into her as a healer.
I didnt say everyone should have a second chance, and what about Swiftpaw, Gorsepaw and more? They didnt get a second chance, as i said. Starclan just has favourites.
I honestly love the way that cinderpelts “rebirth” was illustrated here, it makes it a lot better to me that she was just kinda living through her and not like merged with her. The idea that Starclan just said “screw this one kit let’s make it cinderpelt again!” Always bothered me. The way it’s just her still with the clans and just cheering on/living through cinderheart makes it a better concept than what the Erins did. Literally cried at the end of this map which I didn’t expect.
I think the kit she was reborn as might have been born dead in a sense before her soul was reborn in the kit's body(Or at least that's what I always considered it)

“Don’t blame yourself” makes me cry because when my dog got run over, i ran to her and i saw her on the ground looking at me. She wagged her tell like as if she’s trying to tell me “it’s okay”. i burst out in tears. And now, I can kinda relate to this video because of how they say “don’t blame yourself”. But now i know that in the afterlife, she’s out in the rainbow bridge playing in the meadows with all of the other dogs..💞❤️
I'm crying so hard rn, Cinderpelt is the warrior cat I've always connected with most, because 8 years ago, I was seriously injured in a car accident, and I will never be able to walk again. This MAP makes me so sad and happy at the same time. In that same car crash, my mum died, and I will always blame myself for that. But my family, my friends and my boyfriend have all been the most supportive, caring people in all of earth and I love them all so much. They have given me a second life, almost like Cinderheart, when I was ready to just give up this MAP is amazing and everyone who made it, is amazing xx
Cinderpelt is definitely an A tier character, her story always leaves me very emotional :0 And I am sure your mother must be proud of you for facing life, hopefully stronger then before. Sending love from Japan 💪❤️

This holds so much nostalgia for me, I was once a young kid who had never heard of warrior cats and I found this. Now i'm older and still in love with the book series, this song now makes me so nostalgic and happy that it's not even funny. I love this map and everything else it brought into my life. Thank you
They always have been The greatest series I read my first book when I was in the 6th grade back in 2011 I graduated highschool in 2019 and I'm still reading the series over and over again this is my 4th time and I still cry x.x

@Hannah Tilus the most emotional death in my opinion is Gray Wing's death. I just think thay nailed his character really well, hes probably my second favorite character in all of the books.
@Hannah Tilus Yeah, the only ones I cried for were Greywing and blue star. (Before you say Bluestar?! What?! I was young and hadn't read or experienced death before and bluestar was the first real major character death.) Oh yeah, I also cried at Briar's death. I recently cried while reading Mothwing's Secret, twice, just because I've been in a really bad emotional state lol
Cinderpelt felt like she useless to her clan. So she used her disability to help others. I feel in love when I first read about her in fire and Ice. And she died a true warriors death. One could argue starclan did foretell her death. But even if they didn't, I still certainly believe Cinderpelt would've died. I love her so much. I fell in love with her energy and optimism. I almost cried in school while I read the part she was on the thunderpath. Cinderpelt didn't deserve all the pain she went through. Loving Firestar, the forest fire, getting yelled at by her own apprentice. Cinderpelt has a special place in my heart that I can never forget. And she will live on as Cinderheart for many more moons to come.
Cinderpelt single handed ly made me more times in this series than any other cat and then cried again when she was reborn as Cinderheart cause she deserved another go around after everything she went through.
Lets just take a moment of silence for yellowfang. She helped cinderpelt when every cat thought it was impossible. and starclan for giving her a second chance at life as a warrior. (Cinderheart)
And then Jayfeather, who Yellowfang was the spirit guide for, followed in her footsteps with Briarlight and never let her try to think that she was lesser because of her injury. One of the greatest parts of OotS and AVoS.
It’s also so heart breaking. Yellowfang is my favourite character. Cinderpelt and Yellowfang were said to have the best relationship out of every mentor and apprentice in the series. That warms my heart.
I know this comment is a few years late, but I just wanted to say this. I usually don't get emotional over MAPS, but this actually made me cry. (Happy tears, don't worry.) Cinderpelt is my favorite character out of the whole series (besides Jayfeather) and I was on the bus riding home when I read the part where she died.... Started sobbing in front of a bunch of 8th graders. That was... an experience.

It's confirmed that she has a weaker communication with Starclan than most medicine cats, but they don't blame her because it was not her destiny. Starclan did not let Cinderpelt into the world of Warriors as a medicine cat, as a warrior. This is why in her specific case, they let her reincarnate and play out the destiny she was meant to have.

These lyrics actually feel like Cinderpelt, Yellowfang, and Leafpool wrote them and then Firestar sang it for them. It's just so fitting and sweet. :) This MAP gives me chills every time I watch it. 6 years this MAP has been out, and people still love it to this day. That's crazy.

After cinderpelt left cinderheart she never was seen... anywhere. I can’t stop thinking that being apart of cinderheart really made up for what happened as cinderpelt, she never really got the life that she was meant to have. A warriors life.

Lionheart taught me to teach ones younger than you. Silverstream taught me to cherish true love. Scourge taught me to stand up to those who bullied you.
Imitation Infinity it's not her fault. she had to do it. her son was the cause of many cat's deaths, he made kits apprentices and took them into war when they were only under 6 moons old, and he's just a terrible cat. so she had to kill him, she needed to put a stop to him

coming back to this years later it still makes me cry lol. when i first saw it i was amazed by the animations on an individual level; i wasnt wrong to be, theyre really really good. but what amazes me now that i didnt appreciate before i can only call amazing direction/a script from an amazing director with a vision. the synchrony of the story to the music and lyrics, condensed to important moments and emotions, the decision to show cinderpelt alongside cinderheart rather than within her, all of that --- im sure this is the most perfect warriors map ive ever seen still because of the combination of all these elements.

This map will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first warriors map I ever saw, and it was before I even knew what warriors was. I saw it on an old musically account. Heck, I didn’t even know they were cats, I thought they were foxes! But I started reading the books, and I fell in love with them, now Cinderpelt is my favorite character. Thank you for creating this, I always love to rewatch it.
can't believe it's been 6 years since i saw this for the first time. this single map opened me up to so many experiences, good and bad, as well as the longest community i have ever been apart of. i had just turned 10, and now i am 17. this will always hold a special place in my heart.

TW: I come back to this every few months since it came out, this video introduced me to the song itself and I carried it through my head all throughout my residential living after I had attempted. I kept drawing small little characters while I'd write the lyrics out next to them, remind myself of the things in the song like a mantra. It's super cheesy, but for 14 year old me, it was everything I needed. After 7 months I got out, and I feel like a major part was due to this project. I don't know if anyone will see this, but if you do, thank you. Thank you for making this and choosing everything so correctly. It aligned with me so so perfectly and I felt so much less alone

Poor cinderpelt... She was heartbroken, hit by a car, and that puts a lot of trauma in her life. It's amazing thatshe has the courage to do anything at all.
After the initial recovery, mind and body, you learn to accept it, move on, and make whatever you are left with the new normal. I’d know, and Cinder’Pelt took everything very well, very emotionally strong cat 😁

the first series did not do a good job of making kits apprentices when they were supposed to be and had them for way to long. Swiftpaw who should have been made a warrior log before Bluestar ever went mad. He was like 18 moons or something when he died.

I love Cinderpelt so much. I was really attached to her, and I was so sad when she died. You got her story right on-point, and I love how beautiful this M.A.P. is. And the song! Are we sure that it's not made for Cinderpelt?!! I always love to come back to this animation whenever I'm on RUclips and need cheering up. I really feel that I can relate to Cinderpelt, because I had a really tough time in my life, but I got stronger because of it. Whenever I watch this, I cry at how wonderfully you captured Cinderpelt's story. It's as if she's showing you it through her eyes. I'm only on the Power of Three, so I don't know about how Cinderheart grows up, or how Cinderpelt is with her (either reincarnated or following her, IDK), but this is just amazing. I find the way Cinderpelt died important, it’s a death she would well.... I guess want to die since she wanted to be a warrior and dies a warrior death. Also, I think when the Erin’s wrote about Cinderheart, the missed a HUGE point, Cinderpelt was the most bright and wonderful apprentice, she loved to learn and was really exited to be a warrior but Cinderheart was like any apprentice wanting to be a warrior but without her soul being into that.
Because they people recommending these books to you haven't said, six people died in the first book. You probably won't get attached to the first two deaths since they were in the prologue, but three you might. Leaders have nine lives so she comes back to live, but she still died
My favourite character is cinderpelt so in honour of her, I’m going to get a grey female cat and call her cinder. Watching this map made me burst out into tears.I explained her death and life to my best friend and she almost cried too. Grey cats don’t really have much luck in warriors. That is why I shall remember CinderPelt forever in my heart. People might call me childish because I swore to remember a fictional character but this....this is Different to other things. It makes me cry and now I will force my friend to watch this. She only just finished reading rising storm so I will have it cut up to there. Anyways enough of me going Ian about something else. This is one of the first maps I have ever watched after reading the books. I love it so much I can see the beauty and Hope in all of the cats eyes as I watched through it. I could see the sadness in cinder Paul, and as it slowly turned to happiness my heartturned happy to I love how I could tell what was going on compliments to the artist and you were hosting this beautiful map. I hope you get to make more in the future for everybody to enjoy in this community of people who love warrior cats and people who love to watch, art and artist themselves. Book Forest of secrets pg #227 bottem paragraphs: (Cinderpaw looked up, blinking. Her eyes were blue pools of misery. "I'm supposed to be a medicine cat. I'm supposed to save lives." ... "But I didn't save Silverstream." A wave of sympathy washed over Fireheart. He understood how Cinderpaw felt, and he wanted to tell her she was wrong to blame herself, but he didn't have the words.) then on page 228 Yellowfang says ("you did your best") then on page 229 ("You go on." She nudged Cinderpaw ... and went on nudging until the younger cat rose unsteadily to her paws) I believe that his part of the reason this song was chosen. She feels like a burden to the clan but she is useful and definitely not a burden, she thinks that of herself because she got hit by a car and she can't be a warrior because her leg. She used to be so full of energy but there are points where her old self comes back time to time. One of the greatest characters in Warriors. So touching to see that she makes the best of her life of what she is given and that she doesn't just give up.
I just noticed, both Cinderpelt and Yellowfang wanted to become warriors but couldn't. Cinderpelt broke her leg and Yellowfang couldn't be a warrior because she had a power to feel the pain others were feeling and she couldn't deal with that and her warrior duties aswell.
I never thought I would be the one to do this but here we go: Cinderpaw was training to be a warrior when she went out one night against her clan's orders and got hit by a car, breaking her leg. She was crushed when she realized that she would never be a warrior, and Yellowfang decided to train her to be a medicine cat. A while later, after Yellowfang had died and Cinderpaw (now Cinderpelt) was the medicine cat of the clan. She started training Leafpaw, her apprentice. Enough time passed for Leafpaw to become Leafpool, and in that time she had developed feelings for a warrior from a different clan. Medicine cats were forbidden to have a mate or start a family, and no warrior was allowed to mate with a cat from another clan. Cinderpelt followed Leafpool to one of her secret meetings and tried to explain to her how badly she was breaking the warrior code, and Leafpool ran away. Cinderpelt returned to the camp without an apprentice, feeling as though she'd sent Leafpool away herself, and suddenly badgers attacked the camp. Midway through the attack, Sorreltail, Cinderpelt's brother's mate, started to give birth to her kits, and Cinderpelt rushed to the den she was at. A badger burst in and Cinderpelt was fatally wounded defending Sorreltail and her kits. At that moment Leafpool came back and saw Cinderpelt, who reassured her that it wasn't her fault, and that she was glad Leafpool came back. Starclan pitied Cinderpelt because even though she'd been incredibly happy as a medicine cat, there was always a part of her that still wanted to be a warrior. They decided to give her a second chance to be a warrior through one of Sorreltail's kits, Cinderkit.

I feel exactly the same. 4 years ago when I saw this MAP it didn't really have as much meaning as it does now. I feel like in a way I've grown up with warriors and relate to a few of the characters.

Cinderpelt always had a warrior spirit in her. Even as a medicine cat, she was willing to do whatever was needed to protect those kits and their mother. I think Starclan saw the true power of her spirit and gifted her that second chance to be the warrior she was meant to be.
Though there are other acts who never got to be a warrior but they didn’t get this chance?

@@warriorcatsfan9366 erm... kinda defeats the purpose of being dead if everyone gets a second chance. She had the makings of a great warrior, and Tigerclaw stole that future from her. She embraced the life of a medicine cat, but she forever longed for the life she lost as a warrior. Part of her did die on that road, and she felt hollow and empty for a good while after that. Yellowfang breathed new life into her as a healer.
I didnt say everyone should have a second chance, and what about Swiftpaw, Gorsepaw and more? They didnt get a second chance, as i said. Starclan just has favourites.

I honestly love the way that cinderpelts “rebirth” was illustrated here, it makes it a lot better to me that she was just kinda living through her and not like merged with her. The idea that Starclan just said “screw this one kit let’s make it cinderpelt again!” Always bothered me. The way it’s just her still with the clans and just cheering on/living through cinderheart makes it a better concept than what the Erins did. Literally cried at the end of this map which I didn’t expect.

“Don’t blame yourself” makes me cry because when my dog got run over, i ran to her and i saw her on the ground looking at me. She wagged her tell like as if she’s trying to tell me “it’s okay”. i burst out in tears. And now, I can kinda relate to this video because of how they say “don’t blame yourself”. But now i know that in the afterlife, she’s out in the rainbow bridge playing in the meadows with all of the other dogs..💞❤️

I'm crying so hard rn, Cinderpelt is the warrior cat I've always connected with most, because 8 years ago, I was seriously injured in a car accident, and I will never be able to walk again. This MAP makes me so sad and happy at the same time. In that same car crash, my mum died, and I will always blame myself for that. But my family, my friends and my boyfriend have all been the most supportive, caring people in all of earth and I love them all so much. They have given me a second life, almost like Cinderheart, when I was ready to just give up

Cinderpelt felt like she useless to her clan. So she used her disability to help others. I feel in love when I first read about her in fire and Ice. And she died a true warriors death. One could argue starclan did foretell her death. But even if they didn't, I still certainly believe Cinderpelt would've died. I love her so much. I fell in love with her energy and optimism. I almost cried in school while I read the part she was on the thunderpath. Cinderpelt didn't deserve all the pain she went through. Loving Firestar, the forest fire, getting yelled at by her own apprentice. Cinderpelt has a special place in my heart that I can never forget. And she will live on as Cinderheart for many more moons to come.

It's confirmed that she has a weaker communication with Starclan than most medicine cats, but they don't blame her because it was not her destiny. Starclan did not let Cinderpelt into the world of Warriors as a medicine cat, as a warrior. This is why in her specific case, they let her reincarnate and play out the destiny she was meant to have.

but what amazes me now that i didnt appreciate before i can only call amazing direction/a script from an amazing director with a vision.
the synchrony of the story to the music and lyrics, condensed to important moments and emotions, the decision to show cinderpelt alongside cinderheart rather than within her, all of that --- im sure this is the most perfect warriors map ive ever seen still because of the combination of all these elements.

Heck, I didn’t even know they were cats, I thought they were foxes! But I started reading the books, and I fell in love with them, now Cinderpelt is my favorite character. I come back to this every few months since it came out, this video introduced me to the song itself and I carried it through my head all throughout my residential living after I had attempted. I kept drawing small little characters while I'd write the lyrics out next to them, remind myself of the things in the song like a mantra. It's super cheesy, but for 14 year old me, it was everything I needed. After 7 months I got out, and I feel like a major part was due to this project. Poor cinderpelt... She was heartbroken, hit by a car, and that puts a lot of trauma in her life. It's amazing thatshe has the courage to do anything at all.
After the initial recovery, mind and body, you learn to accept it, move on, and make whatever you are left with the new normal. I’d know, and Cinder’Pelt took everything very well, very emotionally strong cat 😁

I am VERY happy that Cinder'Pelt got to see Cinder'Heart become a warrior, have a mate, and kits I think that's what set my soul on fire
This came back up on my feed and the flashbacks I got to my warriors phase 😭 I must have watched this map over fifty times as a kid and now, being grown, watching it again is so cathartic.

the first series did not do a good job of making kits apprentices when they were supposed to be and had them for way to long. Swiftpaw who should have been made a warrior log before Bluestar ever went mad. He was like 18 moons or something when he died.

I love Cinderpelt so much. I was really attached to her, and I was so sad when she died. You got her story right on-point, and I love how beautiful this M.A.P. is. And the song! Are we sure that it's not made for Cinderpelt?!! I always love to come back to this animation whenever I'm on RUclips and need cheering up. I really feel that I can relate to Cinderpelt, because I had a really tough time in my life, but I got stronger because of it. Whenever I watch this, I cry at how wonderfully you captured Cinderpelt's story. It's as if she's showing you it through her eyes.
I'm only on the Power of Three, so I don't know about how Cinderheart grows up, or how Cinderpelt is with her (either reincarnated or following her, IDK), but this is just amazing. I know I've said that a lot, but really. Don't let nobody get you down, Nifty!

I find the way Cinderpelt died important, it’s a death she would well.... I guess want to die since she wanted to be a warrior and dies a warrior death. Also, I think when the Erin’s wrote about Cinderheart, the missed a HUGE point, Cinderpelt was the most bright and wonderful apprentice, she loved to learn and was really exited to be a warrior but Cinderheart was like any apprentice wanting to be a warrior but without her soul being into that.

Because they people recommending these books to you haven't said, six people died in the first book. You probably won't get attached to the first two deaths since they were in the prologue, but three you might. Leaders have nine lives so she comes back to live, but she still died

My favourite character is cinderpelt so in honour of her, I’m going to get a grey female cat and call her cinder. Watching this map made me burst out into tears.I explained her death and life to my best friend and she almost cried too. Grey cats don’t really have much luck in warriors. That is why I shall remember CinderPelt forever in my heart. People might call me childish because I swore to remember a fictional character but this....this is Different to other things. It makes me cry and now I will force my friend to watch this. She only just finished reading rising storm so I will have it cut up to there.
Anyways enough of me going Ian about something else. These animators are flipping talented and this should win an Oscar or smthn.

This is one of the first maps I have ever watched after reading the books. I love it so much I can see the beauty and Hope in all of the cats eyes as I watched through it. I could see the sadness in cinder Paul, and as it slowly turned to happiness my heartturned happy to I love how I could tell what was going on compliments to the artist and you were hosting this beautiful map. I hope you get to make more in the future for everybody to enjoy in this community of people who love warrior cats and people who love to watch, art and artist themselves. Book Forest of secrets pg #227 bottem paragraphs: (Cinderpaw looked up, blinking. Her eyes were blue pools of misery. "I'm supposed to be a medicine cat. I'm supposed to save lives." ... "But I didn't save Silverstream." A wave of sympathy washed over Fireheart. He understood how Cinderpaw felt, and he wanted to tell her she was wrong to blame herself, but he didn't have the words.) then on page 228 Yellowfang says ("you did your best") then on page 229 ("You go on." She nudged Cinderpaw ... and went on nudging until the younger cat rose unsteadily to her paws) I believe that his part of the reason this song was chosen. She feels like a burden to the clan but she is useful and definitely not a burden, she thinks that of herself because she got hit by a car and she can't be a warrior because her leg. She used to be so full of energy but there are points where her old self comes back time to time. One of the greatest characters in Warriors. So touching to see that she makes the best of her life of what she is given and that she doesn't just give up.

I just noticed, both Cinderpelt and Yellowfang wanted to become warriors but couldn't. Cinderpelt broke her leg and Yellowfang couldn't be a warrior because she had a power to feel the pain others were feeling and she couldn't deal with that and her warrior duties aswell.
I never thought I would be the one to do this but here we go:
Cinderpaw was training to be a warrior when she went out one night against her clan's orders and got hit by a car, breaking her leg. She was crushed when she realized that she would never be a warrior, and Yellowfang decided to train her to be a medicine cat.
A while later, after Yellowfang had died and Cinderpaw (now Cinderpelt) was the medicine cat of the clan. She started training Leafpaw, her apprentice. Enough time passed for Leafpaw to become Leafpool, and in that time she had developed feelings for a warrior from a different clan. Medicine cats were forbidden to have a mate or start a family, and no warrior was allowed to mate with a cat from another clan. Cinderpelt followed Leafpool to one of her secret meetings and tried to explain to her how badly she was breaking the warrior code, and Leafpool ran away.
Cinderpelt returned to the camp without an apprentice, feeling as though she'd sent Leafpool away herself, and suddenly badgers attacked the camp. Midway through the attack, Sorreltail, Cinderpelt's brother's mate, started to give birth to her kits, and Cinderpelt rushed to the den she was at. A badger burst in and Cinderpelt was fatally wounded defending Sorreltail and her kits. At that moment Leafpool came back and saw Cinderpelt, who reassured her that it wasn't her fault, and that she was glad Leafpool came back.
Starclan pitied Cinderpelt because even though she'd been incredibly happy as a medicine cat, there was always a part of her that still wanted to be a warrior. They decided to give her a second chance to be a warrior through one of Sorreltail's kits, Cinderkit.
