I love how Brightheart’s missing eye is yellow after she’s healed, showing Swiftpaw’s sacrifice of his living soul for her to continue on, almost like a part of him is living on inside her.
I think the fact that nobody noticed a part had been a WIP instead of the final product REALLY says how much effort everyone put into their work to the point where a WIP was apparently indistinguishable from the finished pieces

Again AMAZING!!! But still Swiftpaws legs followed some of his body’s commands which was so cool and unique!!! Must have been hard to animate them both to move at the same time :D
this map's literally BRILLIANT, the storytelling, colors, animation... swift's little claw scuffles on the moonstone, and in the end sacrificing himself for brightpaw... you couldn't have pulled this one off better!!! kinda sad there won't be any more, this was an AMAZING concept though

A lot of recent maps have been so good. This one in particular gave me goosebumps, made me tear up, gasp, and pause just to take in what I saw. Every single part is so so well done in this, and I love that it follows Swiftpaw. He’s one of my all time favorite cats from the first series.
Not to mention I’ve been obsessed with Part 1 since forever!! It makes me so happy I’m here to experience this AU, especially since Zombie AUs are my favorite. Great job to all the animators and thank you for the wonderful AU!!

6:06 HELLOOO this is so giving cartoon saloon’s wolf walker style, Its so gorgeous. I know what stands out to me about this map specifically is the variation of art styles. From the 3D to the sketched disneyish 2d or even the comic book type shadings, every part is so different but still flow beautifully and seamlessly.
ONCE AGAIN... this turned out even better than i could have ever imagined! i adore absolutely every aspect of this map and au to death! both maps and this au will go down in wcs history forever! every single part is a masterpiece in itself and everyone working together made the already emotional storyboard and script even more emotional! i will never get over swiftpaw giving his second life away for brightpaw... he was so young and all of this was his responsibility and it really shows! he'll go down in clan history for all of time, he didn't just save brightpaw, he saved them all! longstar must be so proud! and also longSTAR?? one of the best things to come out of this whole au! (everyone took that note on swiftpaw's ref about his bottom half sometimes having a mind of it's own to heart and it payed off in the best way imaginable)
Again, this is absolutely WONDERFUL each animator did amazing on their parts, I love admiring all the details and even how the second half or Swiftpaw has a mind of its own

I love the little details of Swift's back legs dancing around or struggling to catch up. I just find it such a fun detail. I love this au so much and this is def one of my favorites! The music choices too are amazing! And brightheart is finally getting the recognition she deserves, as well as swiftpaw! He's always been a fave of mine. Same with Longtail. I just wish that swiftpaw could've done more before he died. Anyways, amazing map, and good job to all the animators! It definitely paid off! ❤❤❤
I genuinely believe this is the best MAP I have ever watched be produced by the WC community. There is so much talent and creativity in the story and every individual part. I am absolutely blown away by what this group of artists could put together. Every participant should feel immensely proud.
I love that the animation tells a story and has meaning behind it, like how swiftpaw sacrificed himself for Brighthart telling how much he cared for her, and also the animation wasn’t to out of line like, it wasn’t to glory, while it kept a Walking Dead atmosphere. All of the talented animators did a great job.
I love how bright heart didn’t act like a actual zombie cat and was harmless and didn’t act like a flesh hungry zombie it makes me happy everytime I watch this

I find the concept of Swiftpaw's ghost finding a way to communicate with and help Brightheart so darn precious, and the way that the MOONSTONE was the cure is genius!! And then Swiftpaw sacrifices himself for her at the end by transferring his life into her-?! Oh my heart... this is so beautiful!! Every artist did fantastic on this- each style flowed together SO well!! I'm so happy 😭💙

I already said before that this looked absolutely phenomenal and i will say it again. It is paced extremely nicely and is eye candy for me. I adore how it flows together and the story jusz AHHH its amazing!
The color choices in this map are amazing, I love the stark muddy green yellows and the bright sunset pinks and purples, it’s an odd combo, but it’s very beautiful.

What i love, is that Brightheart's and Swiftpaw's relationship doesnt even read as romantic. Its left out in the open for people to interpretate. Considering Swiftpaw is Brightheart's half uncle

I read warrior cats for the last time more than 8 years ago. I remember all the names and the approximate plot, I continued to watch MAPs, but this work brought me to tears for the first time. I literally lay and cried, because I had never seen anything impressive and more soulful before
ithink its incredibly neat, whether intentional or not, that swiftpaw has 2 different parts of his body. this could show how the tree legit cut him in half.
I absolutely adore this map! I love the fact that this is a zombie apocalypse, and a Swiftpaw main character, he’s so cute! I love how his legs just follow behind him and he occasionally struggles to keep them regular. ❤
Ahhhh this is SO GOOD!! I saw the initial storyboards for this MAP and was so excited to see the final product, and it did NOT disappoint. I got chills multiple times and gasped out loud at the reveal of an epilogue. You can tell everyone really put their blood, sweat and tears into this, and it shows. I LOVE how Brightpaw and Swiftpaw’s friendship was portrayed, the muted earthy living world and the bright pastel StarClan are contrasted beautifully, and the shots of the rabbit at the beginning and ending made me genuinely a little bit emotional! (I also love the fact that there’s a happy ending, lord knows they deserve it lol) Definitely one of my new favourite MAPs, great job to everyone who worked on it!
Two other things im noticed are, if most adults and apps died... DID THEY GET THE KITS TOO, ARE THERE ZOMBIE KITS??? . Oh and did the star clan cats like fire star and blue star got there bc their zombie forms died of rotting or something?

I love how bright heart didn’t act like a actual zombie cat and was harmless and didn’t act like a flesh hungry zombie it makes me happy everytime I watch this

I find the concept of Swiftpaw's ghost finding a way to communicate with and help Brightheart so darn precious, and the way that the MOONSTONE was the cure is genius!!
And then Swiftpaw sacrifices himself for her at the end by transferring his life into her-?! Oh my heart... this is so beautiful!! Every artist did fantastic on this- each style flowed together SO well!!

It was such a good choice to have Swiftpaw cut in half like that! The animation everyone did for him was so cool! That view at 3:30 was really well done, love seeing detailed backgrounds!

I saw the original upload earlier and I tell you, I cannot stop watching this on repeat. I didn't even notice that there was a WIP part in there! I had to look between both versions for a minute to notice the difference. Everything was fleshed out so well. Seeing Swiftpaw's rear try to keep up/getting distracted is too cute. The color choices in this map are amazing, I love the stark muddy green yellows and the bright sunset pinks and purples, it’s an odd combo, but it’s very beautiful.

What i love, is that Brightheart's and Swiftpaw's relationship doesnt even read as romantic. Its left out in the open for people to interpretate. Considering Swiftpaw is Brightheart's half uncle

I read warrior cats for the last time more than 8 years ago. I remember all the names and the approximate plot, I continued to watch MAPs, but this work brought me to tears for the first time. I literally lay and cried, because I had never seen anything impressive and more soulful before

ithink its incredibly neat, whether intentional or not, that swiftpaw has 2 different parts of his body. this could show how the tree legit cut him in half.

I absolutely adore this map! I love the fact that this is a zombie apocalypse, and a Swiftpaw main character, he’s so cute! I love how his legs just follow behind him and he occasionally struggles to keep them regular. ❤
Ahhhh this is SO GOOD!! I saw the initial storyboards for this MAP and was so excited to see the final product, and it did NOT disappoint. I got chills multiple times and gasped out loud at the reveal of an epilogue. You can tell everyone really put their blood, sweat and tears into this, and it shows. I LOVE how Brightpaw and Swiftpaw’s friendship was portrayed, the muted earthy living world and the bright pastel StarClan are contrasted beautifully, and the shots of the rabbit at the beginning and ending made me genuinely a little bit emotional! (I also love the fact that there’s a happy ending, lord knows they deserve it lol) Definitely one of my new favourite MAPs, great job to everyone who worked on it!

Just noticed on 0:23 when zombie longtail appears its a reference (or looks like) the scene where he got his eye scar on mr fear

good lord i need to stop crying over Warriors maps. The ending where Swiftpaw gives his life for brightheart made me so emotional, so many talented artists in this!!!
