Yeasir! Skip GTS Designs is my club brother. I believe I was there the day he recorded the vid. Peeps would ask how to do it and he said man imma make a real time vid from start to finish…He brought all the LS swaps, f body brake swaps and all that to the front. Before his vids, nothing was available. Clean ass work fammo!!🏆🤩🏆🤩🏆
I have put 98 up blazer rear discs on g-bodies, chevelles, various other 10 and 12 bolt vehicles. I normally have to space the caliper bracket out a little bit on a few I've had to machine .020-.030" off the caliper bracket to get it centered just right..
Leave the long bolts. Always better to have a few threads hanging out... especially when it what stops you. Good call. Good info for when I do mine... 😎👍
Hello sir I just subscribed to your channel. I'm also doing a blazer disc break conversion on my mc ss and Im wondering where did you get the dust shield with the caliper bracket attached to it. I really can use your help
Awwww man…I’m tuned in👀👀👀
Great video man…we appreciate the heads up!! This is good to know before I get started on mine
Now that I think about it the brakes are off center because the backing plate/ dust shield isn’t on there. Maybe I’ll run those. Great video

I'm glad I watched this. For my 87' Buick Regal-T, do I need to Buy/Install a Proportioning Valve for this Rear Disc Brake Upgrade?
✊🏽💯🤔👀
Yes, you will definitely need a disc to disc prop valve.
Very educational. Thanks!

I got them from my local pick n pull
I tell you this one time, changing that proportioning valve is one of the worst things I've ever experienced.😅 That is all.
That part 👈🏾. Damn fasho
Thanks for the content
Where did you place the washers behind the dust cover between the bracket or behind the bracket housing
@@coreyglen1992 between the rear end flange and the brake backing plate (not the dust shield)
@@PENNYLS1thanks
Thanks bro.... you're super helpful and you make it simple 😅
Keep doing what you're doing 💪🏾💯🙌🏾👍🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾✊🏾

Are you asking where I did I get the rotors from? Thanks for watching!
@@PENNYLS1 I was wondering if the rear rotors were for a blazer as well
@@lifewithandrewM oh my bad. Yes they are

Nice work 👍🏿👌🏿
Bro do you think that some c6 z06 4 pistons calipers would fit on these brackets
I’m not sure but I doubt it. I’m sure someone makes a bracket for that though
Part numbers on what you did not get at junk yard
Links are in the video description
Are these the camaro backing plates?
Blazer
Can you run stock montecarlo rims with the blazer swap?
Yes The blazer brakes will clear the Monte Carlo 15” wheels.
Did you have to add spacers to give the caliper and rim clearance?
No spacing was needed for wheel clearance.
@@PENNYLS1 bro what!!! My original rims are touching the calipers. I also seen another video where someone used a spacer plate.
@@PENNYLS1 what size are the rotors?
@@kingkennotv1973 the front brakes cleared my stock 15inch wheels. I have 17inch wheels. Not sure why the rear is rubbing if the front cleared.
@@PENNYLS1 yeah it’s actually the front that’s rubbing. Idk why I tried to do 2x already. Idk but thanks though
