All the jambs are painted. Will be putting parts/panel back on the car and getting the Monte ready for paint. I told y’all I’m not a painter, but there is something special about building a car yourself. I’ve learned so much along the way. STAY TUNED FOR THE END RESULT!

YESSSSSSIRRRRR LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 My boss put me up on the Spray. We use it on shafts and stuff at work and man! That stuff lubricates and last a long time. I mixed the two and tested it out for a couple months. Worked great together and the mix didn’t get hard during the cool months. EXCELLENT work fam. The windows are gonna glide with ease 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

How tedious was it fully disassembling and reassembling those doors? It must have been nerve racking taking care of that nice new paint on the reassemble. I prototype build boats and we use a bunch of protective tape, cardboard and masking tape everywhere to protect the shiny new surfaces.
@@bhwjrproductions I wasn’t that bad. I practiced a few times while test fitting the doors before I painted them. It’s intimidating at first but not bad after some test runs before paint.
The window regulators came out clean! 💵 LS are you thinking about sound deadening on the doors.

What needle nozzle combo you used for the epoxy? im using the same gun and that epoxy has a hard time comin through.
1.3 Tip. The Epoxy I used mixes 1:1.

What did you use to grease the tracks after you painted them?
@@PENNYLS1 I polished out the inner tracks with 180 grit, 220, 400 and finished em with steel wool(fine) Then I lubed the track with this stuff called “Super Lube” and sprayed over that with this stuff called “Fluid Film”. Got the spray off eBay. The super lube I got from Spohn suspension waaay back. The Nu Relics kit came powder coated and I used the super lube and Spray on all the hinge areas. I wouldn’t use the “white lithium grease”. It gets hard when the temps drop.

question,how do you remove the trim around the door window,only seen one screw
There should be a few screws once you remove the weather stripping, Then I used a plastic panel removal tool to pry the trim up. There is a rubber gasket on the back of the metal trim and it will be stuck on but will release with a little force

You dont need the stuff you purchased to do a ls swap
@@Daytonatheman I got exactly what I wanted. As I mentioned in the video. Every swapped is different and you don’t necessarily need the parts/brands that I used. This was just give people an idea of the pricing. Choose different brands to fit your budget. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
