I’m working on Ls swapping my 87 cutlass as we speak,, I also bought some front and rear brakes off a 2020 Cadillac Ctsv. 6 piston in front 15.5 inch rotors and 4 piston in rear. I’m excited but nervous to install them. They’re HUGE
Man I’m having a hard time bleeding mine, i still have the wilwood two chamber, disc to drum prop valve and new wilwood brakes on the front
Looking good
F.Y.I you can do the brake lines with the body on the car I did it in my 87 El Camino and my 71 Grand Prix I just took my time .

Man I have half of the setup for the blazer rear brakes. Thinking about putting it on the extra posi I have for the elco.
You got the car looking great… the brake upgrade is next for me… thanks for working out the kinks and sharing… are you using drop spindles or lowering shocks….
Preciate that. I have Belltech drop spindles and QA1 Coilovers
Question I forgot to ask a follow up question did you finish the project yet I ask because I'm working on a 81 El Camino right now I'm doing upgrades like lights A/C digital dash electric fans and performance transmission cooler system I am in the Dallas highland Park area maybe we could share some information on these G body builds
I’m still in the process of finishing it up. Matter fact my Dakota digital gauges are being delivered today. I’ll be checking them out this weekend hopefully be able to get them wired up. I do have my electric fans wired up though.
I got this intellitronix but will be upgrading to Autometer I seen a few clubs around Dallas but nothing like no disrespect Good ones motor Brotherly orientated not looking to hustling instead of pure love for the old skools if you know what I'm saying anyway I'm still working on a few things on my El Camino if some how a group is formed like me know I'm sure it's others too let's make those G body Work and get in the Work
@@kennethaytch9792 Fasho, hopefully I can turn some corners this summer
👍🏾✊🏾
Do you have the part numbers for the emergency brake cables? Thank you.
ACD# 18P1988 and ACD# 18P2774
Please make another video on hooking up the emergency brake cable.@@PENNYLS1
Did you have to use those long studs after a big brake conversion..?
Depending on what wheels you’re running you could probably get away with using the stock studs, I upgraded to longer studs so I wouldn’t have to pull the axles later
Cool thanks I running the stock rallys as well... good content 👌🏾
Them impacts made by the same people so it don’t matter.
are you still using the stock brake master cylinder
Yes
@@PENNYLS1 I plan on doing my mc,but just did a rear conversion on my c10 and having problems getting fliud to the rear brake, upgraded the prop valve already
Were u able to get all the gauges on your dash working?
All but the Speedo and tach
@@PENNYLS1 I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to make the speedo and tach work on the stock cluster
@@estevanL76 there is a way but I’ll be switching gauges
