Sorry you missed it. Plan better. Next time. The age limit is for safety and preserving the park for the wellbehaved people. Too many gangs were trying to take it over.
As a local I got to tell you next time you're on jack rabbit you gotta scream in the tunnel (idk when that became a thing but everyone does it now) also jack rabbit is the 4th oldest operating coaster in the world and the oldest continuously operating coaster in the country (during the pandemic 2 workers would come in 1 would ride and 1 would power it just so it could keep that title) sorry you couldn't experience my personal favorite bob sleds but hopefully next time!!!
Yeah, I'm not sure what kinda definition they use for "oldest continuously operating coaster", considering that I live near here and have been to this park like 10 times, and the jackrabbit has been out of order and not running multiple times, lol.
The Bobsled coaster at Seabreeze used to be a wooden coaster but it was given steel tubular tracks after the owner saw what Disney did with Matterhorn, so Bobsled is technically the first hybrid conversion
I have to say, jack rabbit runs great for how old it is, they take great care of it, I think the last retracking was done just a few years ago, also if you ever get to ride whirlwind without trims, it’s insane, love you guys, wish I could meet y’all someday, keep me posted before you come back so I can meet yall
Sea Breeze park use to have three wooden coasters….the Jack Rabbit was not the biggest ride there originally. They used to have a coaster called the Wildcat…and another one called the Greyhound. BTW….hope you get to Knoebel’s and Kennywood…both are awesome
Taughannock Falls! Central New York is loaded with great state parks - Watkins Glen, Robert Treman, Buttermilk Falls…great area for hiking. I used to ski Greek Peak, they didn’t have any mountain coaster back then. That looked awesome.
That's the Rochester weather for you, one minute it can be sunny, and the next you could have a thunderstorm. Seabreeze is seriously a great place to go for locals.
That’s awesome that you got to see Taughannock Falls. I live in the Finger Lakes and about 30 mins from there! Lmk if you ever come back this way. I’d love to show y’all around
So sad you didn’t get to ride Bobsleds, one of my favorite facts about that ride is that Bobsleds is the first hybrid coaster in existence! Screw you RMC, Bobsleds beat you to it!
ROCHESTER THE GOAT🐐🐐🐐🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪🗣️🗣️🗣️💯💯💯 so awesome to see one of my fav creators go to the city i have a family connection with from childhood hoping to go there soon again. really sad the trip was messed up for u
I love your Vlogs its so cool to see how people react irl to the park and its just really fun to watch your vlogs... Very entertaining and fun, keep it up! Love from Germany❤
I haven’t ridden this coasters in 3 years, but every year I made the trip out to ride it in late July or early August, this place was always like a second home to me in a way and it’s too bad that that happened to you so hopefully you can come back again next year
Unfortunately, the school days rule applies because we've had problems with fights amongst older teens/young adults. For a long time (pre-covid) we would get our kids a yearly passport to the park...now two of them are adults, so they don't have the time to go super often, and we often travel in the summer. A friend of mine's son works there. Hopefully you get a chance to visit there again next year. My older two (they're 20 and 21) go on all of the rides...they suggest the Screaming Eagle. Not a coaster, but definitely a favorite.
Great video! Jack Rabbit looked fun that one time you rode it! That mountain coaster was nice and scenic and cool! That sounds dumb that thing about how you have to be 21. I enjoyed watching this! Looking forward to the Carowinds, Dollywood and Beech Bend Vlogs!
I am going to have occasion to visit Rochester a lot for... reasons, and at some point I have to hit Seabreeze. It looks a bit like a smaller and jankier Canobie, but with more waterpark. Want to ride Jack Rabbit for sure.
That's a bummer. But look on the bright side, Marc: with Canada's Wonderland getting a new coaster as well as Niagara Amusement Park, and something new happening at Six Flags Darien Lake in 2025, plus the credits you don't have at Niagara Falls, you might be able to get back to SeaBreeze as well as all those parks next year. It puts a smile on my face your day was partly redeemed to say the least.
School days are when school bands and choir groups around the area go and get adjudicated so they get to ride the rides before and after their performances I was there one of the days
6:10 saw that waterfall and did that mountain coaster in 2014 or 2015. Memory mostly escapes me, but you made me remember. Had a POV once, but semi-illegal to me so I deleted when I created this account so aside from 1-2 videos from 2016, oldest content I carried over was when I did the Jersey Boardwalk parks after the 2017 eclipse
You have liked the Sea Breeze Jack Rabbit even better when it had the old trains with the buzz bars and room to bounce. The rapids ride there is fantastic too
Been ejoying your trip videos, reminds me of my coaster trips I took. 2 week trip in 2005, 2 weeek trip in 2007 and a 2 week trip in 2009 that got cut down to 1 (personal reasons). I miss trips like these.
Jackrabbit looked fun! Bummer, totally relatable. The first time I went to my home park it had to close because of the rain, but then got a reentry ticket because of the weather. That's interesting you got a new credit at every park on this trip and there's a lot of places I should experience. So thanks for adding to my list of parks to visit again ;P Looking forward to seeing the review of Thunder Striker at Carowinds.
I enjoyed being part of the trip as a viewer. Do you guys/gals have any fun, scary, and exciting stories about the trip off of camera like crazy locals or haunted hotels? Need to try the single rail mountain coaster at Anakeesta. Sh$t is wild, and has no auto breaks until the lift at the end.
