I mounted the filter on the cover first then installed the filter. It was easier for me.

This is a great tip! Way easier than a cabin filter usually is and it indicates the correct orientation by the clips in the cover slots. This tip oughta be pinned!

This is not a Air filter，it's AC filter, Air filter under the engine cover 。

It is an air filter, actually. It filters AIR in your cabin.
