Lol, most of the food that Andrew consumes isn't all that bizarre now days. I remember an episode when Andrew was in Vietnam and a family invited him to their house for lunch. So sorry for your loss
@@Habanero_Chi my son is still alive
The first man that ever did the travel and trying foods and giving them a review. Now any tiktok goes and reviews food.
The Japanese woman’s face after he ate the skate was hilarious!!
Mrs. Wu looks great, maybe that stinky tofu has secret anti-aging properties!
This man is a legend. He’ll eat anything hahah 😂
"Smell" my fingers!! LOL.
A restaurant that closed in florida used to have durian in pastry it was absolutely delicious
I grew up on watching this man try all these crazy dishes and he is the reason why I became a chef. Thank you brother for instilling these ideals and passions in so many young people out here. 🙏 🙏 🤲 ❤
i actually remember watching the durian episode on tv!!! :)
Missing Andrew and bizarre food!
Hope there's more to come in the very soon near future
I love this man and all his shows so much, but his stance on sausages and hot dogs is mind boggling.
What's his stance?
@@vegasidol they're too processed and unnatural according to him. Where does he think the meat comes from?
I love watching Andrew, he's opened up the world of food 😊
Ok sometimes when you're smell and taste buds simultaneously just say *"NO."* it's for a good reason. It's not always due to a weak stomach, it's more like self defense. Lol That said, much respect to Zimmermann, he's a stronger person than most.
Lol, most of the food that Andrew consumes isn't all that bizarre now days. I remember an episode when Andrew was in Vietnam and a family invited him to their house for lunch. He feasted on a bowl of rice, Thit Kho, stir fry veggies and small chop up chicken pieces. There may have also been a soup dish.
He did have two different shows though
The word "cloying" comes to mind to describe its smell, however Durian tasted like custard.
Mr Zimmern I laughed so hard watching you suffering ; while , trying to stomach some of those different meals . I appreciate you and your show. May God continue blessing you and your family , as you have blessed us with your shows .
You made the mom in me come out lol here I am yelling don't eat that! Don't put that in your mouth! Hahaha
Wonder if he ever picked up a parasite eating at these places
Yup
He has, many times in fact.
I remember when Andrew would do live Q&A on the travel channel after new episodes would premiere.
Oh Saint Andrew, you eat the foods of question for us so we don't have to, and for that we give you praise.
We enjoy the smell (durian). Well that explains a heck of a lot.
Loved watching this show with my parents as a kid
When Andrew says something is bad, you know it’s horrific
I miss this man and this show more than words can say. Someone give him a shave and get him back on my tv or computer!
Been curious about the durian fruit since I was a teen. Love that Andrew had tried it several times.
its definitely an acquired taste...i tried it several times (hating it each time) until one time it was not bad...now I cant stop eating it ...
I love it; imo it tastes better than it smells
it's like very over ripe mango, but worse
@@simonchoi4144best durian is musang king in Malaysia. We call it king of fruits .
@@ijustwannaleaveacommentony6511no way any overripe MANGO can bring such a visceral reaction(from someone who has a mango farm).
Even the rotting mango fruits that fall off always have a fruity smell nothing that could make you feel like puking just from the smell
Always loved his honesty lol
And yet, Andrew says, walnuts are the food he hates the most, I believe.
I literally watch this and No reservations every night for my sleep. Love listening to this and Anthony!
The “pizza” is fascinating, I wonder what it was made of and how bad it really is.
He even picked the one I thought sounded the most appealing.
@airraverstaz no way how is hawaiin not the most appealing?!
@@LA_Breakerzhe picked the curry one with seafood you donut
@elvedincatak9557 exactly how does that one sound more appealing than the Hawaiian?
@@LA_Breakerz because frood dont belong on a pizza and before you say anything else ive tried hawaiian and its horrible
Loved watching this as a kid. I believe that’s why I’m an adventurous eater. I love trying stuff idc what it looks like. They need more shows like this. I miss it ! 🥰
I recall him also eating a dish in the middle east that had literal rotten meat mixed with eggs(i think) and other vegetables.
I remember that episode clearly bcz he could not eat the food and was going crazy trying to eat it that he kept slapping the top of his head with both hands 😂
This was my all time favorite show.
1) anything with entrails will taste bad..clean the rodent first
2) for first timers smelling durian straight is big mistake..smell it from the outside first..take it in slowly
I'm Australian - never thought there was a problem with durian, grubs etc
Very entertaining programme. From '96 to '03, I lived in Tokyo. From there, I visited Niigata, Nagasaki, Miyagi and Okinawa along with nearby Kawasaki and Yokohama. Had a 2 week holiday in Bali, too. The weird foods you can eat in Asia... This programme takes me back!
As far as skate is concerned, I bought a piece 'reduced to clear' in England once. It just stank of ammonia. I couldn't bring myself to cook it.
I always remember the episode where Andrew was visibly trying not to vomit at the sight of a bowl of oatmeal.
Really? I love oatmeal! I’m
Lucky enough to live in a town in Ireland where it’s milled…
wich episode was this
From me watching andrew at 12 to watching sonny at age 27, thank you and i love you guys 🎉
I miss this show.
This man made me want to travel and I did thanks Andrew you rock ❤
