You're Welcome Mark! I’m deeply touched and grateful that you visited my country to showcase our unique street food culture. It’s amazing to see you explore the vibrant markets, taste traditional dishes like zebu skewers, and interact with local vendors. Your enthusiasm highlights the rich culinary traditions of Madagascar that we are so proud of, and I’m excited that more people around the world can now see and appreciate the flavors and hospitality of our beautiful island!
You must have amazing metabolism in your country. Everything is fried, fried, fried. We call it heart attack food. Looks tasty though. I would eat one dish at a time though. And you are wrong. Madagascar is quite well known and people do know about your tradition and culture...👍

Oh, Mark, your enthusiasm is contagious. You are becoming a world ambassador for food and unity. Madagascar is a nation that is not much explored by usual tourists, and you are here doing a fantastic job 👏 The street buzz is quite similar to the confusion of any Indian streets, traffic, honking, and so are its folks. How can they still stay slim after eating highly fatty foods, I wonder. If I consume those foods, my cholesterol would spike. Waiting for upcoming episodes.
Those are healthy fats. Healthy animals eating great food as well. And people don’t eat so much, move a lot. People eat very less milk products. That’s why…
Mark I love that first breakfast, the market, the people are so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic team that took you around, some really awesome food. Dinner was spectacular, the place has so much energy just alive❤
The south East Asian and African diaspora’s are so beautifully represented in this video. What a beautiful people, culture and food! I see some Indian and West Indian similarities as well.
There's no such things as those diasporas in Madagascar. What you're witnessing is just bunch of malagasy people within their phenotypical diversity despite their relatively homogenous genetic make-up as a whole. We've been this way for about two thousand years, thats why no full blooded malagasy would ever define himself as mixed. Most of my people wouldnt even recall these influences or common grounds you noticed we might share with other regions of the world, since we only know these as different parts of our own identity rather than borrowed from places and ages going back further than our land-borned ancestors.
@@shellzfrombrooklyn718 Im literally malagasy and only trying to introduce you to our reality and philosophy.. anyhow, you're welcome for sharing your biaised impressions then.
@@ambohitsombilahy7584 Sir, I don’t have a bias and my apologies if you think that I do. It was simply an observation and I heard w/my own ears the people of your country say there are many Indian, south East Asian and African influences in your country. That’s all. And I’d also like to mention that I’m from Guyana where we have a culmination of influences. Such as East Indian, Native American, Chinese, Portuguese and the African diaspora. I’m half East Indian and Afro Caribbean
I feel ya Shellz.. Now please try to think about it this way then : once this cycle of cultural and ethnical crossings will become so generalized and go on for so long among your people that they would inexorably forget where they got all of their traditions from and only know them as trademarks of their land, could you then understand they could only identify as Guyanese if their ties with their overseas ancestors get lost in the flow of centuries?
